In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

As we create AFFORDABLE DENTURE MOMENTS for our patients, we see firsthand that a smile can help transform a life. Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

Although I had a good experience with the dentist, the upper denture I got was not good. I still gag and throw up about once a day after 8 months. I went back 3 times and was essentially told I would just have to get used to it. I know there is an adjustment period but after talking to over 20+ friends and family who have dentures and do not have any trouble with their dentures I am not happy. One of the techs asked me "What do you want me to do about it?" I told her I'm not the tech that is your job. At this point I am going else where and will have to have new dentures since no other dentist will touch the work. Needless to say this has been an expensive and unpleasant experience.

I have been going to the dentist here for many years. The people who work there are very kind and patient. I don't have dental insurance so I have to pay cash for my services. Needless to say that their prices are affordable. I absolutely recommend this business for dental services.

I went in one day got my consultation went back the next day had everything pulled got upper and lower plates that day I waited longer to do my first soft liner but they got me right in took about 30 min total made sure I knew what to do and they fit right before I left there

I've gone here a long time now and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. Dr Rutledge is the dentist I've been working with and he has always been helpful to me and makes sure I'm okay. I would highly recommend them and have.

I drive from Springfield to Affordable Dentures in Camdenton. I like how they treat me from the office personnel to the Docters and all those in between. No one wants to go to the Docter but but it's nice when they make you feel important and like family. Very much worth the drive .

Very displeased with there services things are not explained well I am currently here to get my final...now there telling me I have to come back tommro because they did not get me back in time when I was here early I am already missing days of work to get this done and I live a 145 minutes away ugh such bad customer service everytime I come here*** time 1pm update sounds like there gonna try to get my set done today I'm about to go back in and approve or deny the wax set I hope it's good this has not been a pleasant experience at all

I was really nervous about going, even changed my appt. Once I got there I think I waited maybe 5mins no more than 10 before I went back. Then maybe 5 mins for the Dentist. He was extremely nice gave me a couple of options and thanked me for coming in. The girls in the front office very nice and helpful. 10 out of 10 I would recommend.
