In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

As we create AFFORDABLE DENTURE MOMENTS for our patients, we see firsthand that a smile can help transform a life. Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

The environment is different with these people. From the 1st person to the last, I felt they enjoyed their job. Making teeth is an art everyone can't master. The difference here is when you tell them what's going on in your mouth, they listen, comprehend, evaluate, treat, listen, re-evaluate and act! Every tech I encountered is this way. But I feel like Manny has gone above and beyond! I've recommended you to everyone I enouunter needing dental work. 5 stars isn't enough!

They deserve 10 stars, they were ahead of the game in every aspect. They was very nice, professional, the office an inside the patient area is very clean too. The dentist I'd been seeing, is overwhelmed, I found Affordable last year.Honestly, I'd rather see the Affordable dentist, the doc there, he's very knowledgeable bout his profession, an they already had my treatment plan laid out and ready for me before I was released.He explained to me how genetics can impact your dental treatment as well, cause my bone structure is relatively thinner than most an its relative to genetics. All in all, they get an A++++, for doing such a Great Job on my exam and consultation..Just looking forward to future visits, cause I definitely need them.

I won't ever go anywhere else. Dr. Johnson Is kind and gentle. That always helps when my fear factor is sky rocketing. The staff is the very best I've ever seen. Jessica is so sweet and eager to help on everything. Thank you Jessica for helping me look good for my daughter's wedding. What a blessing you all are.

Excellent service! Polite staff make the whole visit so easy. Fast fixes and very helpful staff services. I had an accidental break on my upper plate, called them this morning and got me in the office and taken care of by 2pm. Thank you so much!!

I ALWAYS have a GREAT experience when being assisted by Lauren & Jessica. Lauren attends to my scheduling needs in a very timely manner. She is super efficient at what she does. Jessica is a more than capable clinician who's professionalism & personality rival her clinical skills. I''m a HAPPY CAMPER every time I'm assisted by these ladies.

The girl who called me back and was tending to me was very rude from the start and then argued with me before I could even fully explain what I was asking or saying I needed. Regret not shopping around for my work. Spent 20 grand and now being told about the very expensive maintenence that I was never told about about in beginning so basically will spend double that over time of my implants. Also tried charging me for their faulty work. Have had my teeth break, peel, fallout, etc numerous times in the less than 2 years I've had them. They just want a lifetime income from their customers it seems.

Very clean,very friendly staff, I already had one dentist look and wanted me to spend hundreds getting root canal and tooth build up.I would kept doing that to all my teeth the rest of my life..This saved so much money got me in and done the next day as I was in pain already.I just can't say enough good about them. They were great.
