In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

My experience with this facility was terrible. I spent approximately 16,000 to 17,000 for implants. My three top teeth kept falling off the gum even if I would bite on something soft. My place of employment has an absentee policy and I was on the verge of losing my job because the same teeth kept falling out. Finally, they made me a second set with the same results. At last I got letter not to to return to their business. Another dentist said I get them for abandonment, but no attorney so far wants the case because there basically not enough big money involved in their eyes.

I'm seriously not a fan of going to the dentist. I visited DCOF Friday morning after losing a crown. They found a way to squeeze me in that day and got me seated with a new crown! The staff are amazing! That was simply the best experience at a dental office I've ever had. Y'all are stuck with me because Ill be coming to you for all my dental needs!

Never, ever had dental troubles of any kind until after I went here. They said I didn't have a cavity, just some very slight decay on one tooth. They drilled, and filled it. NOW...I have nothing but discomfort in that entire side of my jaw. I tried contacting them to complain TWICE, and they will not contact me back. DO NOT GO HERE. Extremely unprofessional. I should bring lawsuit against them.

Very pleased with the staff and care I have received so far! Going back for the procedure in a few days and after a horrible experience at ASPEN DENTAL it was such a relief to be at an office that really cares for their clients. Excited to get the smile I deserve! Edit- went back for my procedure and turns out I wasn't the best candidate for the type of sedation we had discussed on my first visit. I was terrified to do the work with just the gas, however Dr. Jacobs made me feel safe and in control of what was happening and I made it through just fine! They were very difficult extractions and he made sure I felt no pain and was super supportive the entire time. I can't wait to continue my journey here at DCOF!

My appointment was in time, the work done on my teeth were excellent. the staff from check in to check out was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, professional. I highly recommend DCOF! Thank You DCOF!

Dr. Laws performed my dental work. He was so kind and patient with me. I had such a fear of the dentist! If I had known how easy the whole process would go I would have done it years ago. The staff here is amazing from the receptionists to the nurses and hygienists! Great place!

I have been attending this facility since 2019. They made my dentures they didn't satisfy me so decided on implants with 4 being at the top and 3 on the bottom. They made these dentures to fit with my implants. I paid approximately between 10,000 - 15,000 out of pocket to have my top dentures with same four teeth falling out every time I ate. Finally, they made me a 2nd set with the same unsatisfactory results. I got a dear John last stating they will no longer fix my dentures and would be more than happy to forward my dental records to another dentist. I'm aggravated, lost countless times at work and the cost of gas it would be unreal to how much money has been wasted. So, I do not recommend this facility if you want good quality work and no refund was applied either.

Called to make Appointment for Partial, First time I called they told me I had to wait for gums to heal. "Understandable". Second time I called to schedule they told me I had to pay 50 to reserve my appointment. "Ok No problem" Then was told in order to get a partial I would have to have a cleaning ? 300. "What? I just left my dentist from getting teeth pulled two months ago ? And a cleaning ? She told me they will not do a partial denture without them doing the cleaning. Since I already paid for a cleaning and extractions from my other Dentist . Why should I be forced to do it again. It's not about the money ' it's the principle. Stop milking people just because you feel you can. And Teach your Staff proper Etiquette. On two different occasions The women who answered was very Rude.

Tried to talk elderly & confused mother into getting $14k implants when they had her alone. She was there for dentures! Very disappointed. Also made us wait for 40 min while other people with later appointments were called first. It is a dental factory. They must have 40 chairs! No warm & fuzzy feeling from me! I'm in market for dentist myself. Thanks for showing me where NOT to go!

I was a walk in. I needed to have my dentures adjusted. They called me within10 minutes of being there. I can't say enough about the staff. Always kind, polite and attentive. I feel at ease and comfortable during the entire visit. Absolutely the best place to go or any dental procedure.

Horrible experience! Please save your money and go elsewhere. I paid $1700 out of pocket for dentures. The dentures look like Halloween costume teeth. I can't eat or speak properly. I was told the only way to solve the problem was to spend more money on new dentures!
