As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide dental health care vs. disease care. Dr. Akshay Vij, BDS, ACT, FAGD, firmly believes in not just treating, but improving the oral health of his patients as with a firm focus on preventive & minimally-invasive dentistry. He is passionate about Helping his patients optimize their smiles. Dr. Vij believes that listening to my patients is the most important aspect when creating a customized treatment that suits their particular needs. He is a life-long learner and invests in continuing education to continually improve himself and the quality of care he provides to patients.
Dr. Vij is the specialty care unit director of esthetic and digital dentistry at A.T. Still University-Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Healths (ATSU-MOSDOH) St. Louis Dental Education and Oral Health Center. He successfully completed a three-year postgraduate degree in advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistrys Center for Esthetic Dentistry under the mentorship of Edward McLaren, DDS. Dr. Vijs area of expertise is in oral rehabilitation using minimally invasive dentistry with a special focus on adhesive dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, implant prosthetics, digital dentistry including CAD/CAM, and fully guided implant surgery.

The front office staff is very nice. However I got new dentures and I told they they were too big I was told go home put some adhesive on them. Well I have to put adhesive on 3 or 4 times a day or they just fall out of my mouth. I have had several pairs of dentures from here over the years. Will not do it from here again total waist of money. Just wear them they said. Ha can't eat anything you have to chew. Paid for so I'm stuck.

The employees at Affordable Dental were as professional and as polite as people could be! From the women at the front desk, to the nurses, and all the especially the dentist! They made me feel comfortable and optimistic about the treatment plan put in place for me!

I've had my dentures less than 2 years and have had 4 teeth break in the last 7 months. The "new office manager" actually had the nerve to charge me $149 to fix what is obviously defective teeth! The dentists and the support staff are great but the office manager not so much. UPDATE Make that 5 teeth! A month later and the same tooth they just fixed broke again. I turned them in to the BBB and they completely ignored that. They didn't even bother to respond. That's how they treat patients who have problems with their dentures. I should've known when the first set they made was so ill fitting that they had to remake them. I guess they feel they've spent enough money on me. The thing is, it's not my fault the first set of dentures didn't fit and, it's not my fathe dentures i ended up with keep breaking. I would stay away from this place.

I LOVE how Caring all the staff are. Soon as I walk in everyone knows my name and the dental services has been just Awesome. Lastly every concern I have had was addressed promptly. I know I made the best choice in choosing this office for my dental care needs.

I travel 50 miles each way to come to Affordable Dental!! I have tried going to other dental offices in my area, but none compare to the care and treatment I receive from here! I'll be coming here for the rest of my life!! Love these folks!!

Polite staff and greeted coming in the door. Doctor and exam nurse both answered question to where I could understand it. Affordable dental work, not over charged. I will be making this office my permanent dental office.
