Dr. Virgil J. Barbu was born and raised in Southeastern Michigan. He completed his undergrad at Wayne State University. After receiving a degree in Biology, he worked in the dental field as an assistant while he attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. After he graduated, he started practicing in his home area. Dr. Barbu has always been inclined to help people both in and outside of the office, he is always volunteering at his church organizations and functions, such as food drives, cooking and serving the underprivileged food, charity dinners for children in need, etc. For fun Dr. Barbu likes to see movies, plays, discover new restaurants and little hot spots in the city and surrounding areas, have dinners with his friends and spend time with his mother, niece, sister, and brother in law.
