Aesthetic Smile Center of Pompton Plains is a Pequannock Township based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
Dr. Smilow attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009 and was honored with membership to the Gamma Pi Dental Prosthodontic honor society and Dean's list. Dr. Smilow went on to complete his general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center , where he is now an attending faculty member. Dr. Smilow is also on staff at Trinitas hospital in Elizabeth.
Dr. Smilow has a special affinity for working with children, including those with special needs. He is also certified in Botox, Facial Fillers, Invisalign and Sleep Apnea. He is passionate about all aspects of cosmetic dentistry and has developed a reputation for producing stunning results.
Dr. Smilow is well known for his compassion and ability to put his patients at ease, from young children to older adults, making dental visits positive experiences for all of his patients. Dr. Smilow currently resides in Springfield, New Jersey with his wife Miryam, a physical therapist, and their four children Eytan,Yedidya, Levi Yitzchak and Shalva.
Hi, my name is Melissa and I joined Aesthetic Smile Center in February of 2019. I have been in the dental field since 2000. Since starting at Aesthetic Smile Center of Pompton Plains, I was hired as a Registered Dental Assistant and was promoted to Office Manager in July of 2019. I enjoy getting to know our patients, and helping them better understand their insurance and their dental treatment. Outside the office I enjoy visiting historial landmarks, spending time with my husband, family and two cats. Fun fact about myself- I'm a yankees fanatic!
Hi, My name is Mary. I have been working in the dental field for 16 years. The best part about my job is when I can make a difference for someone and see the change in their dental health. Outside the office I keep up with dental continuing education courses, working out, and spending time with my kids and better half. Fun fact about myself- I'm a 49ers fanatic!
Hi, my name is Nicole! I have been volunteering and working in the dental field for about 3 years. I currently have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and hope to further my career in dentistry by applying to dental school in the near future. At the Aesthetic Smile Center of Pompton Plains, I truly enjoy getting to know each patient and providing them with excellent patient care. Outside of Dental Assisting, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Fun fact about myself- I work part time at the Apple Store.

How do you run a dental practice when you never see the dentist? I've had my teeth cleaned twice and have not been examined by the dentist either time. Is that even legal? I wouldn't waste your time here.

Highly recommend! The entire staff at this office is wonderful. I have had mixed experiences with dentists in the past, so I know it can be stressful trying to find one that you can trust. Dr. Smilow is a skilled and trustworthy dentist. He has done several crowns for me and fixed tooth/jaw pain that I had been experiencing for over a year before seeing him. Mary, the dental hygienist at this office, is very professional and gentle. Melissa and Nicole are absolute gems who are knowledgeable and will make you feel comfortable being at this office. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Staff was very cordial and the whole process from booking thru the actual dental work was quick and efficient. I wholeheartedly would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dental provider.

I've been coming here for years. The staff is very organized, efficient, professional and know exactly what they're doing. They also take care in getting to know you on a personal level. Top notch equipment as well. Highly recommend

I had to make an appointment for my BF who is terrified of dentists. As soon as a made the call to schedule, Melissa was extremely helpful and comforting on the phone. This office and all of their staff deserve an award! They explain everything thoroughly and thoughtfully, they handle my BF with care knowing, he is uncomfortable throughout. Dr. Lubart is extremely professional and compassionate along with the other staff (Mary, Melissa & Nicole). Their facility is very clean and up to date with COVID -19 guidelines. We were scheduled for a dental cleaning and a root canal all within one weeks time! 10/10 recommendation. I would send anyone in the area to Aesthetic Smile!

This was the best experience I have ever had with a dental office, hands down. The office staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They are the kind of staff who will take the time to really explain what they see and answer any questions you may have. I went to the office for a basic cleaning, which was the most thorough examination and cleaning of my teeth that I have ever had. They provided me with helpful suggestions to maintain healthy teeth and even gave me before/after pictures of my teeth from the cleaning. If you're looking for a new dental office, I highly recommend Aesthetic Smile Center for their friendly, knowledgeable staff and excellent service.

Such a wonderful office; staff and technology was top notch. I have been searching for a dentist that offers the comforts of non invasive x-rays and a comfortable setting. Aesthetic Smile Center checks all those boxes!

My cleaning with the hygienist Mary was excellent. Mary was very pleasant to speak to, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. After my cleaning she even took the time to give me some hygiene tips. The office manager Melissa who made the appointment for me was very accommodating when trying to get me in the schedule. I will be returning to get some fillings done. I am so happy I left my old dentist (bad experience) and switched to aesthetic smile center!

I have been to many dentist , but they have absolutely the best caring staff here. They go above and beyond for each individual patient. I would recommend everyone to Dr Smilow! You will not be disappointed!

I haven't been to a Dentist in years because of my fear of them but this place makes you feel right at home and so safe. The Dental assistants make you feel so comfortable especially Mary - she's the best! The office manager is a doll and makes sure you understand everything that you need to. My filling were not only successful but fast and painless as well! This place has cured my fear of the Dentist (:

This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a dentist. I went in with a lot of anxiety but was met with smiles at the door, I was greeted by everyone. And constantly asked if I was comfortable. Once in the chair for the cleaning the dentist came in and he was a doll went over everything in detail and answered all my questions. During the cleaning the hygienist was so nice and caring always making sure I was ok and comfortable. When I left my teeth felt amazing. I actually can say I can't wait to go back!!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Aesthetic Smile of Pompton Plains. I was nervous with the amount of dental work I needed but Dr. Smilow created a plan and literally gave me my smile back. And Melissa was so outstanding to work with throughout the entire process. Couldn't be happier and would recommend to everyone. They are outstanding Dental Professionals!!
