Dr. Johanna Jenkins graduated from the University of Alabama with Chemistry and Psychology degrees. She attended Dental school at Meharry Medical College of Dentistry in Nashville Tennessee where she received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After completion of dental school, she continued her post-doctoral education at the University of Louisville in Kentucky working on a Masters' degree.
At the University of Louisville, Dr. Jenkins was on staff teaching dental students in the clinics. She practiced General Dentistry in Louisville and then moved to New York to specialize in Orthodontics at New York University.
Dr. Jenkins is dedicated to offering the widest breadth of options for her patients. She continually seeks out new innovation and incorporates it into her practice. She works with conventional and lingual braces and has been using clear aligner treatment since 1999.

Dr. Jenkins is fabulous!! Both our teenagers have had braces under her care and she is compassionate and always there for us - even when my son has a braces mishap on a Friday evening! Thanks for being there and making our experience wonderful!

We are thrilled with Dr. Jenkins! Currently, we have 3 kids receiving treatment (1 invisalign, and 2 in braces) , and two more kids just around the corner. She has even fitted me with a top and bottom retainer to assist with a little straightening. Next on the list, perhaps she will help my husband with a custom piece to aid in his sleep apnea/snoring. Dr. Jenkins and staff are friendly, have helped work out scheduling issues, and even financing options to make it work for the Nicholson family. I will recommend her to anyone.

Dr Jenkins is taking care of me and my family after we've been through 2 other orthodontists. If you are looking for a personable and professional orthodontist then come see Dr Jenkins. We love the care and the attention to detail that is hard to find nowadays. Going to dentist feels more like a business transaction. We just never felt like that with her.
