Brilliant smiles are no accident. Finding the right dentist can make all the difference.Dr. Timothy Pfister and our staff, for example, have an understanding, caring attitude toward all our patients. We treat each of you as if you were a dear friend or family member. We also understand the fear that you may experience when going to the dentist and we are always working toward making your visits comfortable and stress-free. To this end, we offer three levels of sedation, including free nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV sedation. We are also focused on providing advanced, personalized dental care. Once Dr. Pfister and our friendly dental team have ensured that you are comfortable and relaxed, we take a comprehensive approach to your dental health, both structurally and cosmetically, which can be life-changing for some. This approach is based on biometrics, the precise measurement of bodily processes. Aesthetic Oral Arts uses a combination of technologies, such as JVA, T-scans, EMG and cone beam imaging, to get a baseline of data for muscles, dentition, ligaments, and joints. We are able to get a full picture of every function and their relationships to one another. This allows for much more accurate diagnoses and treatment plans, as well high quality, long-term results.
Dr. Pfister and our team of professionals address a wide range of dental health issues, and thanks to our vast array oftechnological equipment, are able to do so in less time and with less pain while ensuring the best possible results for patients. We offer:

When you are looking for a dentist, you want someone who will provide personalized, dedicated care for your whole self, not just your teeth. Dr. Timothy Pfister is a dentist based in New Hartford, NY, with over 35 years of experience improving his patients smiles. He prides himself on a holistic approach which takes into account every aspect of your smile and how your oral health affects your overall wellbeing.
Dr. Pfister has spent many years honing his craft to provide the highest quality care for his patients. In 1982, he began his general practice residency in Toledo, OH. After a few years learning from an experienced dentist, he moved to New York City to begin a two year orthodontic course. Once the course was complete, he decided to stay in New York and began looking for an area to settle down and open a practice.
On January 21, 1988, Dr. Pfister moved to the Utica area and has been serving New Hartford and the surrounding community ever since. He first began practicing in a small office in a strip mall. Over the years, he expanded first to Genesee St. for 17 years and then to our current location on Middle Settlement Road.
Each move has allowed Dr. Pfister to offer improved services. After six years in our current location, we believe we have built an ideal space for patients, with nice parking, lots of room, and multiple operatories for comfortable treatment.
At Aesthetic Oral Arts, you have access to all phases of general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. In addition, his dedication to continuing education means he is up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
The most rewarding thing about dentistry is when I get to help a patient with a very compromised smile. Some patients have such extensive tooth loss or other issues that their smile is very debilitating. Treatment from us can give a patient a whole new life. Cosmetic treatments can be life-changing as well. When we do a crown or porcelain veneers, it gives the patient a whole new smile. It is life-changing.
The team of friendly dental professionals at Aesthetic Oral Arts is dedicated to providing patients with world-class care using state-of-the-art technology. After listening to your concerns, our dentists can help you achieve an attractive, healthy smile with one of our advanced treatment options. We offer:
