As an Aesthetic Dentist with more than a decade of experience, Dr. Ryan S. Wallin is the founder of Aesthetic Family Dental Care (AFDC). Dr. Wallin is an Arizona native and loves the lifestyle and outdoor opportunities that living in the sun can offer.
Dr. Wallin, dentist in Mesa, practices dentistry based on one primary goal: to provide excellence in dental care. Dr. Wallin graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Biology and a partial minor in Music (despite that fact that he cant sing). Dr. Wallin completed his Dental Degree in 2000 at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, known for its progressive approach to patient care. The Humanistic Approach is a way of teaching that each patient is more than just the teeth we treat and that relationships with our patients are key to understanding the needs of individuals. Dr. Wallin spent 2 years serving Cambodian refugees though a church service mission and is proud to be an Eagle Scout.
In 2001, Dr. Wallin left his first practice as an associate dentist to create his own model of dental care based on the Humanistic Approach he was taught in school. Dr. Wallin spends numerous hours each year, constantly improving his skills and knowledge as an Aesthetic Dentist, sometimes more than double the required hours of learning achieved by most dentists. Dr. Wallin feels that dentistry is a constantly changing field and expanding his knowledge is the only way to offer his patients the best that our field has to offer.
Dr. Wallin has been given the prestigious honor by Phoenix Magazine to be named a Top Dentist every year since 2007, as voted by his colleagues of dentists and dental specialists. He studies regularly with the Arizona Craniomandibular Group to further his understanding of TMJ disorder and facial pain. He has also served in the past as a consultant to the Arizona Dental Board as a clinical evaluator and as an investigative interviewer in patient complaint procedures. Dr. Wallin is known for his clinical competence and ethical integrity and loves being able to play a small part in redefining a new level of patient care among some of the best dentists and dental specialists that you will find right here in the East Valley.
Dr. VanderLinden thrives on a mission to seek excellence in everyone around him. From helping patients to just being a friend, Dr. VanderLinden strives for uncompromised honesty and integrity in all he does. He grew up in Mesa, Arizona working in a family construction company and earned a bachelor degree from Arizona State University, then graduated Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ.
Dr. VanderLinden met Jenn, the woman of his dreams, in high school where they dated for several years and eventually married while in college at ASU. The two now have four kids who all thrive in academics and sports. Football, baseball, and swim are part of their regular routine with games, tournaments, and swim meets almost every weekend. The family loves to travel to Mexico for sun, fishing, and even scuba diving, or to the mountains in Utah and Colorado to visit other family. Dr. VanderLinden and Jenn also love spending time together away from the kids when they have a chance.
Dr. VanderLinden enjoys to continually learn, whether meeting new people, places, or ideas, he seeks learning with passion and commitment for excellence in all he does. Dr. VanderLindens connection and bond with family is much like he connects to his patients. As a husband, as a father, as a doctor, Dr VanderLinden seeks to support and develop excellence in everyone around him, even through a smile.
Dr. Candice Grams was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and raised in Boca Raton, Florida. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in Exercise Science from Florida State University and then went on to complete her dental degree at Midwestern University in Arizona.As many current patients of Dr. Grams have experienced firsthand, compassion and extra time spent with each patient is her top priority, providing each and every one a smile they can feel proud of. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and staying updated on the continuous advancements in the field of dentistry.During her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, hiking, and giving back to the community however she can.I believe that your needs come first, and our team will do whatever it takes to ensure you have a wonderful experience in our care.
Dr. Randall Ruminson attended Walla Wall University for his undergrad, and then attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry for dental school. He specializes in a variety of things such as, General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Extractions, Implants, and Root Canals. Basically if you need soemthing done by a dentist Dr. Ruminson can make it happen.
Dr. Ruminson has been practicing since 2003 and previous to joining the AFDC family he was operating his own practice. He loves being at AFDC because of the outstanding patient care we are able to offer through our technology, and exceptional team. '

I've been coming to this office for 5 years, ever since I moved to Mesa. Working in health-care, I am extremely particular about all aspects of my personal care. From how I am treated by staff to the cleanliness of the office to the skills of providers. Their fees are right in line with other quality dental providers in the area. Aesthetic Family Dental has continuously exceeded my high standards. I am more pleased and confident with this group of professionals than any other dental group who has cared for me - ever! I am grateful to have found this practice and often refer friends. Awesome! In every aspect!

My experience with Aesthetic was absolutely amazing ! From the moment I walked in the door the good energy just radiated from everyone I came in to contact with. Dr Grams was who I seen and she absolutely eased my mind about my dental issue and made it super comfortable. Left feeling a lot better than when I arrived. Can't wait for my next visit !!!

From the moment I walked into the office for the first time today, I was greeted with a smile and tour of the office! I also received a gift of appreciation! It was very thoughtful and I have never received this from an office before. Eliza was my wonderful dental assistant! She along with my friendly hygienist Jessica, and super smiley dentist Dr Grams were all amazing! The office was easy to find and was in a good location. I can't believe I can actually say I enjoyed my visit to the dentist! I can't recommend them enough. In fact, I have already talked to my mom about visiting them. Thank you everyone!

JESS IS THE BEST! I absolutely adore her. She is so sweet and always makes me laugh (yes while she's cleaning my teeth) not only that but she is gentle and thorough. The office is extremely welcoming, clean and up to date with all the latest and greatest. The Dr was fabulous! Very sweet and addressed all my concerns. I highly recommend this office and especially Jessica Mattison!

I have a rare disorder with my teeth and have been to dentis since I was 3 and I am not 27. This place is so great! Everyone there is nice like they should be but more so they pay close attention to you and really realize the human side of their business. Your comfort is guaranteed here! If not then they will make it right! Wish I could say more but there is no need. If you are thinking about going to this dentist then do it!

Eva has been such an outstanding hygienist to me. She is always welcoming. Not only is she welcoming and always in a good mood, but being a person with anxiety, and having a hygienist who is comforting and helps me to feel relaxed is definitely a must for me.

Great experience, always caring and focused. Edit: This last visit they repaired my chipped front tooth. The dentist took about an hour just to make sure it looked perfect. Love the work she did, it's good to have my smile back; I keep getting compliments on it as well. :)
