Our practice is truly unique. Dr. Blanton opened his practice in 1983 to serve the growing Collierville community at a time when the population of the town of Collierville was about 10,000. Since that time, our practice has grown along with the town of Collierville which now has an estimated population of about 50,000! Dr. Blanton has always been dedicated to continuing his dental education, far exceeding the minimum number of hours of continuing professional development and education for state licensure requirements, to offer excellent care to improve the lives of Collierville families. Everyday, we strive to provide world-class dental care in a family-friendly environment. We know just how much a beautiful smile and excellent oral health can add to a persons life, and thats exactly what we strive to provide to everyone who walks through our doors.

Were able to offer a comprehensive array of services that extend well beyond the basics. Our hygienists and assistants are professional and provide excellent patient education and preventative services. Dr. Blanton has always incorporatedthe latest state-of-the-art technologyduring his dental careerand this has allowed him to provide the best that dentistry has to offer to our patient family.

One unique specialty area of treatment that Dr. Blanton has been committed to over the last twelve years is Oral Appliance Therapy for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Primary Snoring. He also has special training and education in the treatment of Orofacial Pain conditions and Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD), an area known to many patients as 'TMJ'. Along with his private practice he is currently the Director of the Dental Sleep Medicine and Orofacial Pain/TMD program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry.
