She graduated from the University of Iowa, College Dentistry in 2010. After completing her dental training, Dr. Andrea decided to strengthen her dental skill and knowledge to provide her patients with the best care possible. She completed a one-year general dentistry residency at Denver Health and Hospitals. While there, she gained additional experience in emergency treatment, treating children, medically compromised patients, and complex procedures.
Dr. Schmidt loves living in Colorado. It fits her active, inquisitive, healthy approach. Shes also a competitive boxer and two-time Colorado Golden Glove State Champion. She loves the mountains and enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping as long as her beloved retriever Penny can join in the fun. On Saturdays, you can find her cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes football team, even though she realized most of her patients prefer The Buffs.
