Dr. Kamel attended New Jersey Institute of Technology for her undergraduate studies where, graduating at the top of her class, she attained a Bachelor's in Engineering. She then went on to Dental School at UMDNJ-NJ Dental School after which she earned a perfect score on her clinical National Board exam.
She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Education Association.
While enjoying all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Kamel takes great pride in her cosmetic treatments and extreme smile makeovers. Not only is a person's smile enhanced tremendously but their confidence level and self- esteem is also greatly improved.
Dr. Kamel has long been involved with community service as well. She has organized events such as 'Give Kids a Smile' where under served children are treated for no charge as well as arranging free oral cancer screenings to help potentially save the lives of many who otherwise could not afford to be seen by a doctor.
Dr. Kamel has been recognized on the national level in the 'Guide to America 's Top Dentists' for the past 15 years and has been named a Top Dentist in the NJ Monthly Magazine for the past 7 years. In addition she has been named one of NJ Top Docs for her commitment and excellence in general Dentistry.
Jackie has been with the office since we opened in 2008. She started as a dental assistant and holds an x-ray and CDA license. She is now our office manager and overseas the daily operations of the office. While she enjoys working with our patients chairside she also enjoys helping them understand and fully utilize their insurance benefits to the max. She lives locally with her husband, 2 children and their French bulldog.
Ashley is a dental Assistant who loves working chairside with Dr. Kamel and helping all patients with different treatment plans. She is great at making patients feel comfortable and overcome any dental fears. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her kitten Holly.
Gaby has been in the dental field for 6 years as a dental assistant and front desk. She enjoys helping patients answer any questions or concerns they have. Gaby is fluent in Spanish and English. She enjoys spending quality time with her family.
A graduate of Middlesex County Dental Hygiene Program in 2001, Nicole chose to continue her education and received BS in Health Sciences from UMDNJ in 2006. She has worked as a clinical Instructor at UMDNJ ( now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine) and has worked as a product specialist for the dental sales company Coltene. Married and blessed with two small children Nicole loves to spend time with her family and travels as much as possible.
Swaroopa has been working as Dental Hygienist for past 11 years and is certified to deliver local anesthesia to help make your visits more comfortable. She has experience from both general practices and periodontal offices. Her goal is to help each patient work toward maintaining an oral hygiene routine so that they can improve their oral and overall health. Roopa takes great pride in patient care and continuing education. She loves her career as a dental hygienist and considers all her patients as family and provides them quality dental care. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and hiking.
Melissa recently joined the Aesthetic Dental Solutions team with more than 5 years of dental office manager experience. She has opened new dental offices and trained front desk staff on best operations practices to keep both dental offices and patients happy. She graduated from Syracuse in 2007 and obtained her Master's in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2011. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, playing sports and working out.
Megha is a sophomore at Rutgers University on the pre-dental track. She enjoys learning and hopes to gain experience for the future in our office. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her sisters, friends, and dance.
