Dr. Huriega attended high school in San Antonio. After receiving his bachelor of science degree in zoology from Texas Tech University, Dr. Huriega attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, where he earned his DDS degree. Following graduation in 1995, the doctor established his practice in his hometown of San Antonio. Dr. Huriega values the opportunity to help patients change their smiles and their lives through full-service preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Huriegas professional memberships include the San Antonio District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is a past member of the Dental Deans Alumni Advisory Board and a past Director of the San Antonio District Dental Society.
The doctor and his wife Kristen, have three children son J.C and twins Grant and Caitlin and spend as much time as they can participating in their childrens school activities. Dr. Huriegas other interests include golf, fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors.
Dr. Kohut earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2004. Hecontinued on to complete a three-year surgical residency in periodontology at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale,where he was chief resident and recipient of the Fishman Award.
This advanced trainingcertified him to practice as a specialist in periodontics and implantology. Upon completion ofspecialty training, Dr. Kohut obtained Diplomate status withthe American Board of Periodontology, a recognized specialty of the American Dental Association.
