After graduating from West Virginia University in 1996, Dr. Gwynn completed his General Dentistry Residency with the United States Air Force Advanced Education from Wright Patterson Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio. From 1998-1999, Dr. Gwynn practiced as a General Dentist at Whiteman Air Force base in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr.Gwynn completedForensic Dentistry Certificationand participated in aHumanitarian Mission to Honduras in 1999. Additional certifications that Dr. Gwynncompleted include Cosmetic Dentistry, Zimmer Institute Implant Dentistry, I.V. Sedation, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Aesthetic Dental Group of Uniontown is pleased to welcome its newest associate, Dr. Conor Hughes, to the team. Dr. Hughes is a graduate ofthe University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. While in school, he volunteered with the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry for Special Olympic events throughout Pittsburgh. He also traveled to the Dominican Republic with fellow Pitt Dental students to provide dental care to those in need. Upon graduation, he was recognized for his commitment to providing dental care in the school's Center for Patients with Special needs.
The son of David and Pamela Hughes and a Uniontown native, Dr. Hughes graduated from Laurel Highlands High School. Prior to completing his dental education, Dr. Hughes was awarded a degree in Chemical Engineering from Ohio State University. He is a die-hard Ohio State football fan and enjoys traveling to Columbus, Ohio to watch football and visit friends.Heis excited to begin his career in dentistry and join Dr. Gwynn Jr., Dr. Gwynn Sr., and Dr. Yezbak at Aesthetic Dental Group in Uniontown.

Sadly, after 14 years, yesterday was my final visit to Aesthetic Dental. I'm moving across the state, so I will have to find a new dentist. It is going to be hard to find a replacement on their level. Every aspect of this practice is impressive and will be hard to match. Let's start with Dr. Gwynn. He is a great dentist! He is very knowledgeable, caring, friendly, and thorough. He is also willing to admit when a situation calls for a specialist. I needed a tricky root canal. He told me I should see an endodontist who had the training and equipment needed to do it. I find this humility commendable. Dr. Gwynn is everything I want in a dentist. But there is more to a dental practice than the dentist. There is the dental hygienist who cleans your teeth. I've had several different people over the years, but each of them has been great! When you enter the clean, modern facility, you deal with the office managers. They are always on top of things, welcoming, friendly, and willing to help. Very nice people! From the front door to the dental chair, this is a class act! If you live close enough and are looking for a dentist, look no further. My thanks to everyone there for all the years of great service! I will miss you all!

The staff is super friendly and nice. My experience was the best I have ever had and I worked in the dental field for many years. They was very informative and would recommend them to everyone.
