Dr. Ganucheau was born and raised in Metairie. He attended Jesuit High School in New Orleans where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he pursued a degree in Microbiology. He was granted early acceptance to LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2002. He received the award for excellence in Removable Prosthodontics.
After graduation, he joined his fathers dental practice where he practiced General Dentistry till 2017. He continually pursues Continuing Education classes to expand his knowledge of treating difficult and complicated cases. He has taken classes and workshops at the Spear Institute in Arizona gaining experience in treating severe wear cases and TMJ disorders. Dr. Ganucheau lives in Metairie with his wife and three rescue dogs.

I came to Dr. Paul Ganucheau as a new patient with intense jaw pain of unknown origin (and anxiety about dentists.) Within less than an hour he examined me, xrayed me, found the source of my pain, and surgically extracted my infected wisdom tooth, all while being extremely friendly and personable. This was literally the best dental experience I've ever had.

Today is my wedding day and I had a dental emergency. I was able to be seen and fixed up in time for my ceremony.. I highly recommend!!! I'm so grateful for Aesthetic Dental and everyone that works there!

Dr. Paul is the best dentist around. He is very skilled and usually I am nervous going to any dentist/doctor! I know Dr. Paul knows exactly what he has to do when it comes to dental work; so I was at ease! He always puts me at ease and the procedures go great! I know he knows what he is doing because he has done amazing work on many people. I had surgery and it was pain free. I will only see Dr. Paul! I know He is a caring individual and cares about his patients and takes his time because you are not just a number to him. He cares about his work and his patients. He is the most down to earth dentist even though deep down inside he knows he's the best dentist in Louisiana...For me, I say he is the best dentist because I have had work done in other states and hands down he is the most knowledgeable and does the best work! Dr. Paul Ganucheau and his staff are absolutely amazing. They truly care about their patients and go above and beyond to ensure their patients are taken care of and comfortable. Dr. Paul and his staff have stayed past working hours when I needed urgent dental work and even followed up with me to make sure I was feeling okay the next day. Hands down the best dentist & staff I have ever dealt with.

I've been a patient of Dr. Paul's for many years and he and his staff are wonderful. My mother recently had extensive dental work done that included dental surgery. Dr. Paul personally called her that night to check on her and his staff made it a point to call for several days after to check on her. They eased her mind and did everything possible to make her feel comfortable. I have never had a dentist and his staff be so accommodating and wonderful before. I would recommend Dr. Paul to everyone.

Beautiful office, and wonderful dentist. He is gentle, and efficient. The staff is very friendly. Dr. Paul also does Botox. I got some and am very pleased with the outcome.
