She is truly passionate about dentistry and holds a dual degree. After receiving her DDS from NYU in 2006, she practiced in New York for a year. She moved to Texas in 2007 and has been practicing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since then. In September 2012, she opened the doors of her first private practice Aegis Dental in Carrollton, Texas.
Dr. Chandy stays current with the latest trends in dentistry by attending continuing education classes, symposiums, and seminars. She also subscribes to multiple dental publications that promote state-of-the-art innovations and practices. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Texas Dental Society.
Dr. Chandys extensive training shows her dedication and ability to effectively serve patients in different areas of dentistry. Haven't been to the dentist in years and was very anxious and scared for my first visit. But the staff and Dr. Chandy were amazing and very welcoming. I really appreciate Dr. Chandy asking throughout my deep cleaning if I was doing okay. I was hurting in one area and she injected more numbing agent to ease my discomfort. I was so happy to see my teeth really cleaned after years of neglect. Thank you, Dr. Chandy and staff!!

My daughter has been coming here since she was 6 months old, she's now almost 8 years old. The facility is always welcoming and clean. The staff is great they are are nice and helpful when my daughter freaks out about getting the services done. We love it here!

Very happy to recommend Aegis Dental, in Carrollton, TX, for all your general family dentistry needs. My experiences have been super professional and friendly... and I don't just mean that. Coming from a person who despises writing reviews, answering text messages, or waking up early, I hope the reader of this review can infer from context clues how deserving Aegis Dental in Carrollton, TX near North Hebron road is of this accolade! Was a little disappointed with the level of transparency in my dental coverage that I expected at the time of my visit and I wasn't even shown my X-rays and yet I was chastised for not flossing because my teeth are very crowded and it's hard for me to floss, I can't even touch my upper palate with the surface of my thumb it's so crowded! I was also disappointed with the cost of the work that was recommended! I may just have to live with my situation or seek other avenues to find the proper treatment. The staff was friendly and inviting, as well as having the correct equipment for the services. In my opinion. I also drove a long way for the appointment. My friend who drove me to the appointment was very helpful and I am glad to have a friend like him. Thanks for allowing me to share my experience. I hope that you like my rating.
