Dr. Garrett was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated from Red Bank High School in 2001. Afterwards, she completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in chemistry at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. While working as an associate chemist for Merck Pharmaceutical, she discovered her passion in the dental field while volunteering with her mentor dentist on the weekends. She went on to complete her dental school training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She then furthered her education by completing a two-year pediatric dental residency at NYU-Lutheran Hospital in Maryland. She has had the pleasure of treating children in the surrounding cities of Nashville, TN for the past four years.
Dr. Garrett is a board certified pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates, American Dental Association, and Tennessee Dental Association.
In her free time, you can find Dr. Garrett spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys riding her bicycle, movies, shopping, trying new restaurants, and traveling the world. Her favorite Disney movies are The Lion King and The Little Mermaid so you can expect these movies to play at many dental visits.

I live in Chatsworth and was petrified to take my child to any of the dentist around here. Luckily Adventure was absolutely amazing. My child who was crying the day before was looking forward to his next appointment when we left. They were so kind and talked my son through everything. He was comfortable the whole time. Thank you!

I love this dentist and staff, they are so professional and kid friendly. I've been bringing my four children here for almost a year and never had any issues, not a one. The office is well maintained and clean. Staff are so polite. Definitely deserve 10 stars.

This is the best pediatric dentist hands down! We moved away recently and really wish I could've took this place with me!! Both my children had bad experiences at a previous dentist but adventure pediatric dentistry made my children feel right at home! They also have amazing communication skills as well as informing you everything that is going on with your child's dental plan. At first my children cried to go to the dentist, now they cry to go back! Thank you so much for this amazing team! So glad I found them. If I could give more stars I would.

I am a Medical Social worker, and I have 2 children who have been to Adventure Pediatric Dentistry. Our initial experience was wonderful as the twins' first few visits to the dentist with kind staff and cheerful clean office. However, after one child had a small cavity and needed follow up, I had a very negative experience regarding a billing issue. I needed time to double check the EOB and make sure the claim was billed properly before paying our portion within reasonable amount of time. It was less than 30 days from the date of treatment, but I received harassing calls, emails, and even text messages after-hours (7pm) from the office manager Brenda regarding our $78 bill from what was not covered by insurance. I have never been treated in such an unprofessional and discourteous way. It was completely unwarranted and unforgettable in the worst possible way. I paid our $78 bill once I confirmed our EOB was correct. I tried to give this practice another chance. When I flexed off work and arrived this week for the kids' next 6 month cleaning (after multiple appointment reminders/confirmation via text and email) we were told the kids appointments had been rescheduled for Oct! They were able to work us in that day thankfully, but this is yet another communication and organizational problem. While we were in the waiting room, another mom came in and faced the same problem (arriving for appointment and being told it had been canceled or rescheduled). We're starting fresh with another practice, and wanted other prospective customers to be aware of our negative experiences.

Hands down the most amazing dentist I have EVER been. Love the amazing team Dr. Garrett has (not to mention how amazing she is) Lany loved it there (and the girls nails) ... I can't leave out ofc ... how Dee treated my baby. The vibe the staff gives you, makes you feel like your home !!!!!! Thank You Adventure Pediatrics ....

The entire staff is absolutely beautiful inside and out!! They are thorough, accommodating, super friendly, and incredibly helpful. The office helps everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you all so much for working with our insurance and schedules.

Brenda is very rude and disrespectful. When she text you about your child she's very unprofessional. If there's any way I can post our text messages on here can someone guide me to do so. So I can get better assistance on how to handle this situation.

You can barely get them to answer the phone! You can call for days and all you get is a machine. You leave a message and they don't call back! Once you do get in touch with them and an appointment it's a very nice place, great experience with my granddaughter, they done a great job!

Best Pediatric dentist! Everyone from the receptionist to dental assistants, to Dr. Garrett is absolutely wonderful and kind! I was so nervous to take my girls to a dentist due to having a terrible experience when I was young, but Everyone there put this worried momma heart at ease. They are amazing with my girls, and I no longer worry taking them to the dentist! So thankful we found this dentist!

My son has anxiety when it comes to dental work because of past experiences and his learning disabilities. Yesterday for the first time I heard my son say "I like that dentist she was nice and it didn't hurt" to me that speaks volumes about Dr.Garrett and her staff. I would recommend them to anyone. We drive and hour and a half to get there but it's so worth it!!!

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. The doctor is good but the person in charge of ur documentation apparently cannot do her job. My son waited almost 3 months for a surgery that got cancelled at the last minute because this lady didn't process the insurance. Then nobody contacted me for a month and when I called she literally told me she contacted the insurance right before she called me. So what did she do for an entire month? Then i was told I could come by the office and I show up to a closed office. Not even 3pm and it's closed. Seems like they closed on purpose because they knew I was coming. I just needed my sons file so I can take him to a new doctor. Definitely DO NOT recommend and will be filing further complaints to any and all channels available. Such a shame that a great doctor has a staff member do irresponsible.

My son's first dentist visit and it was a success! I couldn't ask for a better place for my son to go! Ms. Faith was awesome with him! She made him feel comfortable and was very patient with him during cleaning! Also, Dr. Garrett was awesome as well with him! She is very professional and knowledgeable! The entire experience put me at ease as a parent! Also, the ladies at the front desk, Brenda and Raquel gave us a warm welcome and with a smile as we entered the office. The office is clean and nice, as well as a professional staff!

My 2and a half year olds first visit to the dentist was today and we had an AMAZING experience! We were happy to have Ms. Faith Carter do her dental cleaning and she was very gentle and friendly. My two year old had a great time and she wasn't scared and didn't cry due to such a friendly happy environment! After her visit she got a balloon and goody bag! We had our first visit today and it went great! Everyone was very professional and friendly! The office environment was bright and clean. In the past my 6 year old daughter was terrified of going to the dentist but the staff here was great and my daughter had absolutely no problems. Her hygienist took the time and explained every step to her and she was very reassuring. My 11 year old son's hygienist was very good with him as well. The dentist herself was awesome and gave a very detailed report on each child including the good areas and areas that needed improvement. I highly recommend Adventure Pediatric Dentistry

My son has extreme anxiety and is painfully shy. Despite this we had a wonderful experience. Everyone was warm and friendly and the hygienist was sweet and very quick with his cleaning. I was so impressed with everyone and everything that I'm no longer stressed about bringing in my 1 year old.

1st time visit for my daughter and they were amazing ! Very patient and kind . It's a 40 min away for me but I do not mind the drive when you know your kid will have a great staff to take care of them
