Dr. Yelena Prato is a native of Caracas, Venezuela. She received her bachelors degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela Dental School, and later completed two years of postgraduate studies at the Dade County Dental Research Clinic.
Dr. Prato has been practicing General/Family dentistry including restorative, implant, pediatric and cosmetic dentistry since 2001. Dr. Prato joined Advantage Dental Weston back in 2018 as a part-time associate, and now working full time as the primary provider for the group. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and strives to provide her patients with the best possible care and state-of-the-art dentistry.
Dr. Mesa is a native of Sogamoso Colombia and immigrated to the USA in 1984. He complimented his education abroad with a certificate from the University of Florida graduating in 1989. Dr Mesa received his DMD license from the Florida Board of Dentistry in 1991.
After setting up his initial practice in the Miami Dade area Dr. Mesa relocated to the beautiful city of Weston where he has been serving patients since 1994. Fluent in English and Spanish Dr. Mesa provides the community with professional state of the art dentistry administered with compassionate care.
Advantage Dental Weston is a modern, state-of-the-art practice founded in 1994. In 2018, and after working over 15 years as an Associate, Dr. Yelena Prato joined the group, and became the primary provider early in 2021.
Advantage Dental Weston offers its patients a full-range of general and cosmetic dental services, from routine check-ups to complete smile makeovers. Our doctors practice conservative, proactive dentistry utilizing the latest in dental technology. Our patients' comfort is always a primary concern.

The staff here is great and attentive. I also had some fillings done very seamlessly and experienced virtually no pain or discomfort after the anesthesia had worn off. This office makes coming to the dentist a great experience.

Awesome experience in the placement of a new crown. From the temporary crown to the original one, the entire process was pain free . Dr.prato took the time to make sure the fit was comfortable, sometimes when getting a crown the fit doesn't always sit well in your mouth she took her time and made sure that I was happy with the placement and fit . Overall the entire experience was great. If you're looking for a dentist give this office a try.

What a wonderful surprise! After years of being reluctant to find a dentist here in the US, sudden pain forced me to make an emergency appointment. After extensive research, I surrendered and made an appointment with Dr Pratos. Right at the reception I realized that I made the right choice! I was extremely well attended from the beginning to the end of the consultation. I'm sure I finally found MY dentist here in Weston! Thank you all so much for your love and attention!

After not going to the dentist for almost 15 years, my fiance went to see Dr. Prato, besides being very professional, the service was fantastic and she gave us a full explanation for what our concerns were including a plan of action to follow. It is a pleasure been a patient of Dr. Prato. Since the moment you arrive to the practice you smell clean and neat. Everyone is helpful and polite and the Dr. takes her time to make sure I understand everything plus she is very careful when she is working in your mouth, you barely feel her hands. Again it was an excellent experience.
