It took four + months to be seen and I wasn't aware that this was a teledentistry office when I went in for my first appointment. My teeth are in terrible shape. One molar on the left has a cavity that has eaten a huge hole in it and one molar on the right has broken, along with a broken front tooth and other problems. I have pain and have difficulty eating. All that was done was images taken and I was told I should hear back in 2 weeks. It's been 2 months and so far all I have gotten was a patient survey with some rundown by what I assume is a dentist saying my cavity risk is "high". How in the world do you run a dental office with no dentist? I'm confused if there was ever any intention to actually TREAT my dental issues I waited over 4 months in pain with to even be seen. This is the most awful experience with a dental office I have ever had and thats saying something. I suppose this is what I get for not being able to afford thousands of dollars to be seen by a REAL dental office. I'm insulted to be honest.

Sisi was amazing talking to before I came in, she has such a sweet voice! She was so delightful! Amazing experience!

They took all of my top teeth in April 22 still waiting for my denture. Doctor left and I have never heard from them again

Took my kids to their initial appt, was told that all they would do at that time was x-rays and they'd call to make appts for cleanings and such. Waited a month before I called them back and found that in all 3 of the charts, they put that they saw the dentist and had cleanings. And if they saw a dentist, my daughter would have had an appt to have teeth pulled, but they wouldn't do that. Will never go back to this office again

I understand the staff may be minimal and there is some stress involved but smile. I feel some tension in the Newport, Oregon office.

This dental office left my husband in serious pain. They did not bring him back in to check for infection. Nothing for the pain either. This is not how we treat people. Not everyone is drug seeking! Take care of your patients, this is wrong!

They called me multiple times everyday to confirm my appointment for a week straight, even after I already confirmed it. Then the day before, they cancelled my appointment and now I have to wait another 4 months after rescheduling. This the second time this has happened, it's very annoying.

I get scheduled for Dec 31 @9am for them to be closed. No call about it ahead of time. Just show up in the early morning to find out lights are off and door is closed. Hmm ok why schedule me then?

The newest dentist is absolutely perfect for all your family. She is very knowledgeable and has a very sensitive attitude towards teeth. Makes going to the dentist a lot easier than usual. THANK you Newport Advantage.

Advantage Dental is the best dental experience I have had in a decade. Jennifer, the person who greeted me at the front desk was very personal and professional. The reception area was very clean and the empty seating was placed 6 feet apart. Cleanliness standards were met, and I was given a clean mask to use while I waited in the reception area. The dental assistant, Preston, was funny and put me at ease immediately. He was very skilled at taking x-rays, so much so, that as he chatted me up I barely even noticed he was taking the x-rays.. No pain! In my appointment to get a tooth pulled, Dr. Waleec performed the surgery with such skill that I didn't even know he'd pulled the tooth when he had left. I highly recommend Advantage Dental in Newport. It's under new management, and I think it has really improved based on what I had heard when the office first opened.

Every single time I have gone to Advantage Dental, Jen has always greeted me with a smile. The dental assistants always keep small talk going, which is great because I have a small fear of dentist offices. Jen has always gone out of her way to schedule me as quickly as possible. When she has called to reschedule an appointment, she always works with my personal schedule. She has also always handled upset Patients with a calm and professional demeanor

The staff and the dentist were extremely patient and too their time. Explained every process of the visit there was no surprises the overall experience was one of the best I've had in the dentist chair

my experience today was positive they took me in right away and helped me, the receptionist was awesome as well as the Doctor and Nurse....if I could delete this last feedback I would, when ppl are in pain like I was it makes you want to yell and scream....I did change my feedback to 4 and looking forward to seeing them again next week....thank you

I want to be clear, my review is strictly about the amazing receptionist, Jen, not Advantage Dental. Jen is amazing! This place would fall apart without her. Shes always goes above and beyond, even though its obvious she needs someone else to help her in the office. She works late and gives her best effort to get dental emergencies in quickly. If she didn't work in the office I would probably never go here again. I don't know what she is paid, but I guarantee it's not enough.

Advantage Dental Newport is awesome! The receptionist was kind and paperwork was thorough. I got in earlier than my appointment and they let me go in. The assistant did the dental exam and explained everything and the dentist did the same. All in all, it was a very good experience! Highly recommended.

Good luck getting someone to answer the phone. If you have ohp just take the drive to LC or Corvallis not worth going through here. They promise you something over the phone then when you get there they just give you x-rays and send you home in pain and make you wait another couple of weeks for another appointment.

I have severe dental anxiety. I have a low pain threshold. Pain wasn't a part of my experience, at any moment if I felt pain. I was able to get more.numbing stuff. I am grateful for having them around.
