Alabama Medicaid is a program that pays for routine dental care for the children of Alabama under the age of 21 years, as long as the child is eligible for full Medicaid. Most children are no longer eligible after their 19th birthday unless they qualify for another category. Adults age 21 and older are not eligible for dental coverage through Medicaid.
More than a million Alabama residents each year qualify for full or partial Medicaid coverage. To qualify for Alabama Medicaid, applicants must meet and provide proof of income, meet age requirements, fill out forms correctly and turn in a completed application to the correct office or worker.
Alabama Medicaid dental services must be provided by or under the supervision of licensed dentists enrolled as Medicaid dental providers. Routine procedures involving the teeth covered* by Medicaid include:
ALL Kids is a low-cost health care coverage program for children under age of 19 years. Benefits include regular checkups and immunizations, sick child doctor visits, prescriptions, vision and dental care, hospitalization, mental health and substance abuse services, and much more.
ALL Kids uses Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama (BCBSAL) to provide services through their preferred provider network. If your child is approved, coverage will begin on the first day of the month after the application is received.
Income eligibility determination can only be made when a complete application is received by ALL Kids. Please note, even if your income falls outside of the below guidelines, you may still be eligible for coverage the only way to know for sure is to apply.

My experience with Advantage was professional. I felt comfortable even though I hadn't seen a Dentist in years. I have to mention the lady who cleaned my teeth did a great job, I am impressed with how my teeth looked. Had what was supposed to be a small task turn into a big thing and they were cheerful, patient and helpful. Didn't rush the job at all and as far as I can tell did good work.

I haven't gone to Dentis For long time because I have anxiety every time I think about Dentis. But this time my cavity was broke and got infected so I had to go in. I'm telling you everyone was so nice specially Dr Li was amazing I was really comfortable my anxiety and stress was gone. And my teeth was fixed

Dr. Wen Li is very gentle and for me this was the Best dental visit I have ever had. Dental assistant Shy made me feel relaxed and helped me feel confident that this dental office was a good choice. The receptionist Joy Love was very helpful and friendly. I will recommend Advantage Dental to everyone I come in contact with that is looking for a superior dental experience!

Clean! Very clean. They were rigorous about cleanliness and taking proper precautions. Julie was fantastic from the moment I called her for an emergency appointment. She got me in quick (same day) and was super helpful at the desk. Everyone was. Lisa was kind and quick and Dr. Li was professional and understanding. I know that my whole family should enjoy our future appointments here.

I have dentist anxiety level 11 on a scale of 1-10 (like crying during the exam etc.) and everyone was so kind and understanding and made me feel so comfortable. They even were able to squeeze me in for a cleaning after my exam. I was so embarrassed as I had a few cavities and knew it had been too long since I'd seen a dentist, but Dr. Li and his staff all reassured me that dental health is not a moral issue and they are there to help with no judgement. I'm so glad I found their practice.

Just had the best cleaning experience ever. SherylAnne (RDH) provided the most professional cleaning I've ever had! Cleaning done quickly with a light, sure touch (no pain). Learned a lot about dental techniques, treatment and terms for various procedures. I highly recommend her for your next cleaning

Did not honor a scheduled appointment. Tried to lie to me about when it had actually been scheduled. Five phone calls over the course of the day have produced no useful action of any kind.

My husband loves the Advantage dental group he said everyone is very kind that works there and professional he especially loves Dr. Li my daughter and I will be transferring over and are looking forward to starting our new dentist I will review again for my daughter and I after our first visit coming up in February thank you so much!

They were very busy, so the dentist was a bit quick, but they took pictures and were very thorough and the lady who cleaned my teeth was very nice! And she finally got my braces glue off! I've had that on since I was 18, and I'm 33 now.
