Dr. David Rever graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1986, and 2020 marks his 34th year at his current location. He has taken thousands of hours of continuing education to remain at the forefront of orthodontics, restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Rever also completed training to treat sleep apnea and snoring.
Dr. Rever is a Senior Certified Instructor and Fellow of the International Association for Orthodontics. He is currently serving as President of the IAO and has previously served as a board member and the Mid Atlantic Section Representative.
He completed the IAO two-year comprehensive orthodontic training program and has been practicing orthodontics for over 30 years now. Dr. Rever is also the current President of this international professional organization.
As a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, he is commits himself to cosmetic dental excellence. Dr. Rever has completed a one-year comprehensive esthetic residency at the prestigious Esthetic Professionals Institute in Tarzana, California. He has completed thousands of restorative dental cases.
Dr. Rever has also completed the Implant Seminars Implant Dentistry Continuum, and Masters Series programs. He is a member of the International College of Oral Implantologists, and a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association.
His combination of training and experience in dental implants, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry places him in a select group of dentists with this diversity of talents. With this broad range of skills, he is able to obtain excellent results with patients who have multiple cosmetic, occlusal, and restorative problems.
Samira graduated from Montgomery College with a degree in dental assisting and is a licensed Radiologic technician. She holds a certification in Expanded Functions and is also cross-trained in front desk duties. She joined our office in 2006 from Seattle, Washington, and has been working in the field for 10 years. Samira is of Lebanese descent and she taught English as a second language when she lived in Lebanon. She was born in Sierra Leone and is fluent in English, Arabic, and Creole.
Rebecca was born & raised in Montgomery County. Her career as a dental hygienist has spanned over 20 years and has been with our practice since 2010. From a very early age she knew that she wanted to be a dental hygienist. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene & Certification for delivery of anesthesia from the University of Maryland, School of Dental Surgery and has a Certification of Dental Hygiene from Howard University. She is passionate about dental hygiene and providing the best care to her patients to improve their overall health. She treats each person as an individual, providing personalized care, while educating and informing them of their current oral health.
Zoila joined our office in 1994. She is a qualified Dental Assistant who has been practicing in this field for the past 23 years. Zoila holds a certification in Expanded Duties which is the highest level of a Certified Dental Assistant. She is specialized and very knowledgeable in the use of the latest dental technology. Zoila speaks both English and Spanish fluently and she is originally from El Salvador, Central America.
Xiomara joined our practice in 2015. She is originally from Puerto Rico. She comes with over 10 years of experience in the dental field. She is certified as a Dental Radiation Technologist and Qualified in General Duties by the State of Maryland.
She earned an Associates degree in Dental Assisting with expanded functions from the National University College in Puerto Rico in 2005. She also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the Universidad Metropolitana de Puerto Rico in 2014. Xiomara is very warm, and will always welcome you with a friendly smile. She enjoys nature and loves baking.
Qamar joined our practice in 2010 and came with a wealth of experience in health information management. She holds a degree in Health Information Management. She has trained with Paragon Management Associates Inc, Institutes leadership, and front office academy Jay Geiers Institute. Qamar is fluent in English and Urdu.
