Dr. Livia Stancu grew up in Romania where she completed her dental training with honors in 2001 at Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie , Facultatetes de Stomatologie Tg. Mures. After moving to U. S in 2004, she furthered her education by attending the IDEP program of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and in 2009 earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and got extensive training in different aspects of dentistry. She is been in private practice since and enjoys seeing both children and adults.
Dr. Stancus professional motto is Everybody deserves a beautiful smile. Her focus is to provide comprehensive and quality dental care to all her patients and she supports minimally invasive and evidence based dentistry keeping up with her training by attending numerous continuing education courses nationally and internationally. Dr. Stancu attended an Implant Preceptorship while in dental school and also did a mission trip for implant placement in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in 2015. She is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry surgical extractions, root canals, crowns and bridges, dentures and Invisalign treatment.
Dr. Irv Goldfarb was born and raised in Philadelphia. In 1969 he graduated from Temple University with a BA in Biology and then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Temple University in 1973. Dr. Goldfarb taught removable prosthodontics for 6 months at the dental school. He was then drafted into the U.S Army and served at the Armys Dental Center in Fort Knox, KY. Where he rotated through all dental specialties. After active duty he remained in the army reserves for2 more years.
In 1978 Dr. Goldfarb and his wife moved to Bucks County. They have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. In 1980 he bought an existing dental practice on State Rd. in Croydon. He has had a successful practice there for over 30 years. In 2014 Dr. Goldfarb sold the practice to Dr. Livia Stancu. He is continuing to work there full time. He especially enjoys working children, patients with disabilities and senior citizens.
Dr Victoria Kremski was born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from Temple University with a BA in Biology. Before starting dental school she took an extra year of graduate studies in Biology.
Dr.Kremski received her DDS from Temple University in 1981, She practiced in Philadelphia until she and her husband Richard moved to Bucks County,PA in 1985. They have have 2 sons who reside on the West Coast.
Dr.Kremski worked in Levittown,PA for 17 years before joining Dr.Goldfarb in 2005. Dr.Goldfarb sold his practice in 2014 and Dr. Kremski is continuing to practice with Dr.Goldfarb and the new owner Dr, Livia Stancu DDS.
Dr.Kremski taught Expanded Function Dental Assistance at Manor Junior College as well as 1 semester of Dental Basics. She is very interested in Forensic Dentistry and has received over 100 hours of CE credits in this field.

Visited today based upon the web site explanation of providing sedation, in fact various methods described. The stall are all very friendly and helpful! THEY DO NOT OFFER ANT TYPE OF SEDATION - NOT EVEN NITROUS GAS! I found this out after a complete assessment. My fault, I should have asked? Don't believe the advertising without verification.

I can honestly say this place is awesome! Maryann is always friendly and patient, Dr. Stancu is professional, skilled, yet down to earth, and most of all the hygienist that takes her time cleaning my teeth until she reaches perfection is the BEST!

I called today to ask for an appointment for a consult for cosmetic work and was told that the dentist doesn't do consults. So, how would you get anything done without a consult? Still a mystery to me because instead of telling me what the process is she said "bye"

Now i see why they have 5 star reviews. They . somehow delete negative 1 star reviews. I left a 1 star review previously that mysteriously disappeared. I came back to see if any updates or "a reply" from them on my review but its Gone. So heres the scoop. They are all nice, friendly "care and listen" to you. Its all fake and they beg for you to leave a 5 star review when they are done with you. Umm no thanks you shouldnt have to ask your patients this. This should come from the patient naturally and the patient should decide on if they will leave a review if any. They rush their work, they dont use enough numbing agent, they unneccessarily spray cold air directly on your cavities for extended periods while the work is performed, they give no break and wedge a item between your teeth (to keep your mouth open) for over 1hr (leading to sore jaw). On top of all this and other things they charge me 50$ for a missed appointment. Slap in the face. I told them i live very close by and offered to come in whenever they got a no call no show or cancellation. But girl didnt want to here it. Big $ grab fake people. I miss the other owners.

I have only been here for one appointment so far, but this place seems great. Their staff was really friendly and were very good at explaining everything that was happening, and going to happen in a way I could clearly comprehend, so I could make my choices confidently. Definitely my new dentist.

After my experience today, I felt compelled to write a review. Dr Stancu and her team are incredibly knowledgable, thorough and empathetic. I have always been treated with respect, and you truley feel that their kindness and concern is sincere. I was experiencing some pain after my visit this morning and they insisted that I come right back in. I felt terrible, even though I was in pain, because I realise how busy their schedule is, but they were happy I came back and addressed my pain immediately. I will continue to always reccomend this practice.

Dr. Stancu is an artist and my teeth are her canvas. She does amazing work with my teeth every visit. I have very old dental issues, and she works wonders with them, making my teeth look and feel brand new. Dr. Stancu and Jess talk and giggle while working on my teeth, which helps to relax me and forget what is actually going on in my mouth. I never fear going to the dentist because I know I am always in great hands!

The two stars are for the receptionists and the hygientist (who are amazing, and my Italian sis who helps Dr.S do the the fillings is awesome) All of them are great, patient, kind and caring. They take the time to listen to your concerns and offer feedback. Everything with Dr. Stancu feels rushed. I had a filling done today that was one of the most painful experiences of my life. I'm not a baby by any means and have had many major surgeries. I never expected that level of discomfort during a simple filling!! She knew I was in pain. I was crying out in pain!! I was shaking and sweating. As if the drilling wasn't bad enough...just the air she was blowing on the hole she just drilled sent chills down my spine. I don't know if I wasn't properly numbed or what happened. Instead of stopping, numbing me some more and waiting or at least talking to me...too much of a hurry! I was supposed to go back next week to have my last cavity filled. There is NO way in hell I would let her near my mouth again. I'd pull that tooth with a pair of rusty pliers before going back to her. I spoke to several dental offices (when looking for a new dentist) today as well as friends and family members who told me that was not normal. Dr. Stancu told me filling the cavity next week would be the same experience! Not "Maybe I need to use more numbing" or "You should not have felt that much pain." An apology, sitting with me to talk for a few minutes about how we could lessen the pain next time, would have helped. Her response was "You don't want to get it filled, don't". The most unprofessional dentist I have ever been to. Good luck to anyone that goes to this place. I have been going to the dentist twice a year since I've had teeth and have never been afraid. This woman made me afraid to go to the dentist. It was my fault for going back after the first few fillings. They were painful as well but nothing like this one. This visit was nothing short of traumatizing. If you want a dentist that doesn't seem to care about your business, rushes, and could care less about your comfort level then by all means..she's the one for you. This places is where people's fear of dentists begin.

I have avoided the dentist my entire life Until...I went to Advanced Smiles. It Starts with smiles right back at you the moment you arrive. When I got to the dreaded dentist chair, I was Quickly put at ease....and Everyone was joking with me...making me feel like I've known them for Years. The Absolute BEST dental experience I have EVER had. I would recommend them to Anyone and Everyone I can.

Wonderful experience! My kids and I had 3 back to back appointments as new patients! We were in and out in timely manner and all safety precautions were taken. It was a very clean and very friendly environment. Even when my kids needed additional treatments, they checked the benefits and told me the cost of things before completing the treatments. I found this to very considerate, especially in the way the world is today. Thanks again for a great experience, we will be back!

One of the nicest dentist office I have gone to in Bucks County. Everyone was friendly from start to end. As a person with severe anxiety and some dental issues, I was 100% comfortable with everyone who handled me. I would recommend this office to anyone afraid of the dentist like myself, you will be very relaxed. Thank you for great service!
