Sedation dentistry is safe and effective for patients with a range of anxieties concerning their dental visit or oral health needs. Before recommending sedation dentistry, Dr. Samani consults with patients to understand their needs and determine the right sedation method to ensure a positive visit to our dental office.
Sedation dentistry at our Austin, TX dental office also limits the sensory experiences of smells, sights, and sounds. If your dental anxiety is triggered by the noise created by some dental tools, sedation helps to eliminate those experiences. Sedation is particularly effective for longer procedures. At Advanced Smile Center, Dr. Samani often recommends oral conscious sedation and/or nitrous oxide for dental implant placement, wisdom teeth extraction, or complex whole mouth restoration procedures that call for the application of many veneers and crowns.
Dental implants have become a sought-after method for replacing missing teeth, as they promote improved biting and chewing function and come with a high rate of treatment success. With an implant to replace one or all missing teeth in your smile, you get new teeth that are close as possible to your own, natural teeth. At Advanced Smile Center, our Austin implant dentist, Dr. Ellie Samani, provides comprehensive solutions for tooth loss and the oral health problems this issue can cause with dental implants.
Our implant treatment solutions include all phases of the implant process, form surgical procedures to ensure your implant will provide long-lasting results, to restoring your implants with beautiful and life-like prosthetics. Dr. Samanis implant procedures include:
Pre Implant Bone Grafting - Bone density becomes thinner as we age and is especially the case for patients who have had missing teeth for years, as their natural tooth roots are not in-place to stimulate bone. Placing an implant in an area with low bone quality does not give your implant post enough tissue to merge with, which makes a bone graft essential for some patients. With improve bone quality, your implant can successfully bond with and stimulate tissue for improved oral health.
3D Guided Implant Surgery - While thin bone can be treated with a bone graft, grafts can sometimes be avoided if implants are placed at an angle to target in areas where bone is dense enough for proper osseointegration. In order to provide ideal placement for your implant, Dr. Samani uses advanced 3D imaging and diagnostic tools that help to pin-point areas of dense bone.
Same-Day Implants In the event that you have a severely damaged tooth that requires extraction and replacement, or you had a tooth seriously damaged in an accident, our Austin, TX same day implant services provide an immediate solution. With emergency implants, Dr. Samani can extract a compromised tooth, surgically place your implant post, and add your temporary prosthetic in just one visit.
Implant-Dentures - For patients with total tooth loss, or those who have been struggling with loose, removable dentures, Advanced Smile Center offers full mouth reconstruction utilizing several dental implants to stabilize full dentures. Your dentures will snap onto two implant posts that have been securely and permanently added to your smile, which provides for a major improvement in the way your dentures feel and function. With implant-supported dentures, your replacement teeth will be stable and strong. For patients with debilitated bone structure, mini dental implants are another viable option for regaining a lasting, natural smile.
Single and Multiple Implant Placement and Restoration While our implant services can include complex care, Dr. Samani also provides expertise for smaller implants cases, where only one, or a few, implants are needed. Our implant treatments include single tooth replacement and restorations for small groups of missing teeth with implant-supported bridges.
