Dr. Altieri was born and raised in Connecticut and lived there with his family until 1992. Before dental school Dr. Altieri attended the University of Bridgeport and received a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. He worked at Sikorsky Aircraft for 11 years before he decided to change career paths and pursue dentistry. He later graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree. When the opportunity arose, he bought a practice and moved his family to Maine and has been a resident of the Kennebunk area ever since. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maine Dental Association, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He also went through rigorous training for both oral and IV sedation.
In his free time, he loves to be outdoors, and it is not uncommon to see him running, biking, hiking, kayaking, or cross-country skiing. He recently got back into bee keeping and is looking forward to collecting his own honey! Dr. Altieris newest hobby is learning how to use a ham radio.
Jennifer joined our team in 2018. She is originally from Connecticut where she was a certified dental assistant for 3 years. She moved to Maine in 2011 with her two sons and has spent the last 10 years working as an office manager. She is very knowledgeable with different insurance companies and making sure each patient has a positive experience.
Jennifer lives in Wellswith her Husband and youngest Son Jacob. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends at their camp in Rangeley and you can find them there year-round snowmobiling or boating.
Stephanie joined our team in July of 2019 and has been an assistant for 9 years. She is a licensed dental radiologist and has advanced training in E4D same day crown fabrication. Stephanies bubbly personality and attention to detail make her a great addition to our team!

The staff was warm, welcoming, and efficient. The dentist was friendly and explained what work was suggested. I especially liked the fact that before leaving I was given a sheet of paper with all the work Dentist suggested and the price of each one. Very practical to know the gist of each procedure.

Dr. Alteri took me in on an emergency wisdom tooth removal and I'm so glad they made the time. He and his staff are wonderful, polite, helpful and professional. I highly recommend this office

This is the best dentist I've ever been to and the only one I will go to from now on. I've had only horrible dental experiences before, but they changed my whole outlook on dental practices. Sophie was amazing and put me at ease and every care was taken to make sure that I didn't feel any pain during the procedure and everything was explained clearly so I knew what was going on. They are the only dentist office I've been to that I have had a good experience at and I would/will recommend them to anyone. Thank you for helping me lose the fear of the dentist that I've had forever. I will continue to inexpensice here for any and all dental needs I have. Also, inexpensive and I was able to get the price before we started.

I like this dentist a lot. I went in to get a crown (first time patient a week ago) and aside from a little extra wait for the crown to finish baking, the experience was overall great. Staff were very helpful getting me set up in the system and explaining each step of the process. Dr Altieri was down to earth, but professional. I left with a new crown in one visit!
