My dental career began over 15 years ago and, in 2002, I graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston, M.A. Im an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. I love what I do and I feel my attributes are my compassion, passion and knowledge in my chosen field.
In my free time, I practice yoga, enjoy salsa dancing, hiking, biking and traveling. Ive already been to Thailand, Columbia, the American West, the Caribbean and Costa Rica. When Im not working as a hygienist, the world is my oyster!

I was referred to Advanced Periodontics & Implant Dentistry for gum surgery in preparation for further dental work. Dr. Gardner, at Advanced, evaluated the problem and referred me to an oral surgeon for the appropriate procedure that involved much more than the gums. I was most thankful that she did made the correct diagnosis and did not hesitate to to refer me to an excellent surgeon. After the surgical care, my dentist successfully complete work on the original dental problem. The outcome was excellent, thanks, in large part, to Dr. Gardner!

Unethical - being reported to the state and to my insurance provider! When Dr. Sandak left the practice, I was told that Advanced Periodontics would continue to take my insurance. On June 17th, I had a procedure. Prior to having it, I confirmed, again, my insurance with a woman at reception. Because they only did the left side of my mouth, I had to come back a second time to have the right side done. A day before my appointment, I received a call from the office informing me that they do not take my insurance and that I would have to pay out of pocket for all my prior visits! I told them that I would not pay, since I was told that they would continue to take my insurance and that they had given me the green light to go ahead and have my June 17 procedure. This morning I learned that they ended up billing my insurance after all!! When another doctor (who accepts my insurance) called my insurance to get authorization to complete the right side of my mouth, it was denied!! That is because when Advanced Periodontics billed my insurance (again, after telling me that they're not a participating provider), they billed it as if they did my entire mouth! And since the procedure I had is only covered once every two years, the insurance will not cover the other half of my treatment. This, my friends, is insurance fraud.

This dentistry office is very responsive to patients needs. Their office is well-kept and organized. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Gardner and his Hygenist, Natalie, are both terrific. I have been going to this office for many years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Sandak did an expert job of putting implants in for two lower teeth. I took my time, his entire staff was excellent, everything went smoothly top of the line equipment and was recommended by my lifetime dentist. . He recommended a nearby dentist to put the final crown on. No problems. I travel 1 hour 45 minutes to get there and worth every minute. Not cheap but he accepted the insurance he is the best!

Dr. David Sandak is so good that when I had to have some dental work done at NYU Dental School everyone commented on the excellent implants that Dr. Sandak had done on my mouth. That complement from teachers and students alike is why I give him five (5) stars.

I have ben a patient of Advanced Periodontics for many years and I cannot say enough about not only the great care I received but also the great outcome to any dental issues I may have had. Dr. Sandak and his staff are sim ply the best in addressing your dental needs. The most important thing whenever I visit Advanced Periodontics is that I always feel safe and knowing I am going to receive the best dental care.

Very organized. Very sterile. I was attended to and felt like I was valued. Sometimes you don't get that feeling. But not here. Surgery went well. Was given all that I needed for recovery. Overall great experience.
