In 2005, Dr. George Hilal received his dental degree from the renowned University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky. While there, he regularly participated in free dental clinics in underserved areas of Kentucky. In addition, he graduated on the Deans List for exceptional grades.
He then went on to complete his Masters in Periodontology and Dental Implants at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Hospital for Veterans Affairs. There he served as Chief Resident.
In 2008 he went into periodontal practice becoming known for the placement of dental implants, periodontal treatment and gum grafting. In his first year, he was awarded Outstanding Young Dentist of the Year.
From the beginning, Dr. Hilal has continued to focus on current research based treatment principles to best serve his patients. He has placed over 1,000 implants and done many cases of denture stabilization using the All-on 4 procedure.
In 2014, he moved with his wife and three children to Odessa. Recently, he has purchased a home and is looking forward to raising his family here. His hobbies include; playing tennis & soccer, and traveling & deep sea fishing.

Dr. Hilal deserves more than 5 stars! I went to him in distress after having received very botched up dental implants by another local dentist. Both implants failed and had become infected. One was even tilted somewhat sideways. The crowns had been ground down to the metal. It was a mess! I had been in pain and felt very foolish for trusting this other dentist. Dr. Hilal was understanding and corrected the problems without me going through pain. He restored my confidence in getting dental work done.

I am writing on behalf of my boyfriend and the incredible experience he states he has ever received at a dentist office. My boyfriend was experiencing a lot of pain and needed to have two of his teeth surgically removed. Dr. Hilal and his staff were extremely professional and attentive from the moment we called to set the appt. We would definitely recommend Advanced Periodontics & Implant Dentistry.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hilal and his staff. I had a complication with an implant that I had done in Mexico (I know! Mistake). Went to my local dentist and it turned out I needed immediate attention. Was referred same day and they got me in 2 hours later and an hour later had surgery and was home before dinner. From the moment you walk in it's nothing but kindness. The nurses are amazing and Dr. Hilal did a phenomenal job. Not even 24 hrs later and the pain is gone just some soreness. Recover will be long but I'm glad it has started. A million thank you's and God Bless you all.

I love this place I'm from Houston and recently moved here for my job and I have no insurance and I was referred to them by another dentist that charged me a lot of money to get my teeth pulled I called them and set up an appointment and plus they do payment plans so I didn't have to pay all up front the staff is really nice and helpful and they are very consistent of calling and setting up a follow up visit...the best dentistry in West Texas

Per Robert (Bobby) Alvarado: Dr. Hilal absolutely found his calling. My procedure required extensive repair and healing before I could receive my "All on 4". I was not only in pain physically but emotionally as well from hiding my smile. I did my research and Dr. Hilal came highly recommended. He has empathy. He is meticulous, skilled and patient. He made everything comfortable from the procedure, to treating me like a friend. Hands down the best medical decision I have ever made towards my financial investment for my health. Lastly, his staff is the icing to that office, a really great team of support. Thank you for making me feel great and looking fabulous. PS. Go Gators!

I was seen on an emergency by Dr.Hilal. I have a fear of the dentist and I had asked for oral sedation but Dr.Hilal assured me that he would take care of me. I didn't get the oral sedation. I had to have my tooth surgically removed and Dr.Hilal did an excellent job. I didn't feel any pain. Him and his staff of nurses were wonderful. I reccomend him. I am not from this area but while I am working here I will go to him for my dental needs. I googled his business and he had great ratings so I chose him. They also saw me in a timely manner. Thank you Dr.Hilal and staff!

Dr hilal did an amazing job i had to have multiple tooth extractions very very impressed with him and the staff if u need this kinda stuff done go to him 100% satisfaction also my brother n law with autism had to have extractions done also was really happy with the way dr hilal took care of him also

Dr. George Hilal is a true credit to his profession! I had the privilage of meeting Dr. Hilal while he was practicing in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a brilliant periodontal & implant dentist with an excellent reputation in the professional community. I flew from Memphis to his current practice in Odessa, Texas for a procedure I knew could only be performed by the BEST in the country! Do yourself a favor and seek out his expertise. You won't regret the choice!
