Dr. Houssam Alghadban, also known as Dr. Al, has been practicing dentistry since 2001. He specializes in periodontology, oral plastic surgery, and dental implants. After his exposure to different specialties, he decided to take a postdoctoral education in periodontics. Dr. Al was accepted at Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry in the periodontics postdoctoral program. He achieved his specialty certificate after he completed an intense three-year training program. This course focused on the clinical treatment of patients and research activities.
Dr. Al has been providing specialty dental care services in San Antonio, Texas for more than 12 years. When he is not at the office, Dr. Al enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Nour, and daughters, Talia and Alma.
We offer the best gum treatment services using the most advanced technologies available. Our founder, Dr. Houssam Alghadban, is an experienced, board-certified periodontist who has been providing specialty care in San Antonio for over 12 years.
Smile for Everyone Foundation and iServe Foundation: Selected to participate and volunteer in a missionary outreach to provide dental and periodontal care to over 1,000 patients in the underserved areas of Thailand and Laos (03/2019).

Love this office!! So clean, organized, and everyone is so nice and helpful. The girls at the front desk are so pleasant, and welcoming. Sandy is great, as well as Dr. Al! I got my wisdom teeth out, and the procedure was super fast, pain free, and comfortable. I definitely recommend coming here!!

Wow an amazing experience My daughter and I just had! Very little wait time, you can tell the office is well managed! The DRs bedside manner was superb and my daughter's wisdom teeth extraction was seamless. In and out within an hour! So impressed and recommend to everyone!

Dr. Al and his team were very professional and welcoming. I felt at ease and was very pleased with the outcome of my procedure. Office staff was patient, kind and took their time to explain my insurance coverage and my out of the pocket expense. I highly recommend Dr. Al. Great Atmosphere!

I'm not one to normally write public reviews. I just decided to make an exception. So I will make it count and share my full implant experience in detail hoping it helps others. I reside permanently in Canada. I chose Dr. Al to perform my three implants all at once here in San Antonio because of his excellent reputation. I had my procedure yesterday afternoon. One tooth needed extraction + implant + bone graft, the second required an implant + bone graft, the third only an implant. I was genuinely impressed with the whole experience, from the moment I was welcomed by reception staff, to the moment I left the clinic. I was most impressed by Dr. Al's skill level, attentiveness during the procedure, patience (I have a terrible gag reflex), professionalism, and how fast he was able to do all of the above. My procedure finished yesterday at 5:30pm, at which point I became proud owner of 3 expensive little screws in my face!! :) see pics!! I took my meds at 6:30pm, then again at 11pm (I cheated to sync the 8 hour rotation around my sleep time). I was feeling pain and seeing blood, which is normal, until the meds really kicked in. I had soup and jello, then fell asleep soundly (Thanks to the help of a lorazepam 1mg pill). I woke up at 7am, and really couldn't believe that my pain was reduced to almost nothing. He set my expectation for a 3-4 day pain management regime. Of course I continue to take my meds. All in all, an excellent experience!! Thank you Dr. Al.

Dr Al and his team have extremely good bedside manners. I was comfortable and relaxed during my procedure with him. Each visit with the office was very enjoyable and they even accommodated my schedule multiple times. Highly recommended Dr Al as your periodontist.

I war referred by my general dentist to this practice and the minute I entered this practice, I noticed an amazing, welcoming, smiling staff that are very happy, relaxed, polite and professional! I then met the doctor's nurses, they were as happy and welcoming as the front desk ladies, soon after I met Dr. Alghadban and he also was very nice, informative, honest and professional. I for sure accepted his treatment as he was recommended by my general dentist and for sure Dr. Al was able to start the treatment on me and deliver an amazing care and experience that I deserve,. I highly recommend this dental office to my family, friends and everyone as they will give you the care that you deserve and hopefully exceed your expectations!

After an injury to my front bottom gumline, my dentist referred me to Dr.Alghadban. He performed a gum graph from the roof of mouth to the damaged area. The first week is rather difficult, but Dr. Al was willing to see me again and reassure me that the graph was healing "beautifully." Once healing was complete, I am able to agree that my graft has healed beautifully. I would recommend Dr. Al to other people in need of periodontal work.
