At Advanced Orthodontic Center, we strive to provide the highest quality orthodontic care in a friendly and comfortable environment at an affordable cost. Dr. Sam Veshkini, orthodontist, has been a premiere orange county orthodontist for over 25 years and has treated thousands of cases creating many beautiful and healthy smiles for children, teens, and adults.
Our practice is limited to Orthodontics. We are a cozy, friendly, and patient focused office and many of our patients have been with us through several generations in their family. Our main priority is our commitment to providing excellent and cost effective treatment for our patients.
Dr. Veshkini started his education at U.C. Berkeley and received his Bachelor of Science from U.C. Davis. He graduated Cum Laude from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1986. He received his orthodontics specialization Certificate from Loyola University of Chicago in 1988. He had additional training in occlusion and growth and development at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Veshkini has lectured in various organizations on the subject of aligners and removable orthodontic appliances. Dr. Veshkini is a certified orthodontist and a member of American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Veshkini has a strong commitment to continuing education and participates in ongoing training in the field of early intervention for children, adult orthodontics, Lingual braces and Invisalign.
Dr. Veshkinis goals are to render the absolute finest orthodontic care, create a beautiful and healthy smile, and utilize the most advanced equipment and procedures and materials available for our patients.
Our multi-lingual staff is gentle and friendly and ready to provide a positive patient experience. We focus on efficient cost effective solutions and we are confident you will be pleased with our services and our fee schedule.
We serve local communities in south orange county and we are an active supporter of local schools, churches, youth and sports groups and organizations. We are happy to get involved in the local community and take pride in helping make a difference.

Love the service provided by Dr. Veshkini and the staff at Advanced Orthodontic Center. Dr. Veshkini literally worked wonders with our daughters' smile! I interviewed 5 different orthodontists. When I met with Dr. Veshkini, I loved his approach and knew that he was who I wanted to change our daughter's smile. Her smile significantly changed within 3 days literally! I know every patient responds differently, but when her Aunt saw her smile and how much it had changed, she asked me who our orthodontist was and I was happy to refer her to Dr. Veshkini! No more tears from being teased, only compliments for her beautiful smile is what she hears now. Thank you, Dr. Veshkini and staff for making that possible.

The orthodontists are really serious about what they are doing with your teeth. I currently have braces and I might get them off on July 2021 but they are very careful. Sometimes they replace the color of the braces but they do it in like 2 minutes only and then I'm all done. I appreciate that I even have braces. If people are going to get braces come to this orthodontist

Prior to choosing Advanced Orthodontic Center I researched and visited 7 Orthodontic offices in Costa Mesa & Irvine. Reviewed and evaluated them based on the information they provided. Ended up choosing "Advanced Orthodontic Center", through the process as I visited the office, gained experience with Dr. Veshkini and his team it became clear how good of a team they are and that I've made the right decision, I couldn't have been happier with the results . Highly recommend this office

After switching to a new dentist and learning I had to have some work redone (fillings replaced, crown replaced), I was also told that I could benefit from orthodontics. Though my teeth on top are mostly straight, my bottom teeth are a bit twisted. Because I grind my teeth, the enamel is chipping and the alignment on my bite is a problem. I finished the course of treatment with the dentist today (two final fillings) - and then I thought I'd see if I could get in to find out about getting braces. I called Dr. Veshkini's office (still numb from the fillings) and they were able to make me an appointment same day! They requested my insurance information and said they'd find out what coverage, if any, would work before I arrived. I arrived right on time... there was ample parking. The office entrance was close to the parking lot and has a nice reception area with comfortable chairs. I was asked to complete some paperwork and was warmly greeted by Letty and the other office receptionist. After about a five minute wait, I was called to the back for a preliminary exam and x-rays. Then, Dr. Veshkini made recommendations about what he could do to fix the issue with my teeth and prevent further damage. Because cost was a concern for me, I opted for traditional braces, with clear brackets. Invisalign was a bit out of my price range. The price I was given was more than fair - and they did let me know that my insurance would cover $1000 of the cost! (YAY!) I work at a school and this week is ski week - so I'm off work. I asked if there was any way they could start the process right away. Even though they usually don't start treatment the same day, they were super accommodating and went ahead and put my upper braces on. The process of putting them on took about 45-60 minutes. The assistant did the preparation, but the doctor did the actual application for me. Then, the assistant consulted with me about things I can and cannot eat, the proper way to brush my teeth, and how to floss. They also gave me a cute little kit with special brushes for cleaning and wax in case the brackets rub. Overall, I felt very informed, not overwhelmed, and like I'd made the right decision. I was told I'll be in braces for 12-18 months and that the lower brackets will go on after my upper teeth are properly aligned so that there's room for them. You really cannot see them - and I'm super happy with the way they look. Before checking out I was able to schedule my next appointment at a time that works for my schedule. Thanks for the great visit Dr. Veshkini! I'll be sure to update this review throughout the process. I'll post photos when I have make-up on (LOL). :)

All three of my sons have had their braces done by Dr. Veshkini. He is a great orthodontist! The front staff are always very sweet and Leti is super nice and helpful!
