AcceleDent. By holding this device between your teeth for about 20 minutes a day, you can increase the rate at which your teeth move, which may decrease the length of your orthodontic treatment. Digital imaging. At Advanced Orthodontic Care, our team understands that your time is very valuable. Therefore, we perform complete orthodontic records at our office. Records taken include molds of the teeth, digital photographs and digital radiography.
Our digital X-rays are taken by a state-of-the-art, Planmeca Promax Digital Panoramic/ Cephalometric machine. These X-rays offer high resolution and much lower radiation than traditional machines. The images are also easy to share with your dentist or other health care providers.
Your health is important to us, and our practice follows the most advanced guidelines for instrument sterilization and infection control from the CDC and the ADA. We utilize state-of-the-art sterilization equipment that destroys all contaminants. Each instrument is cleaned, sterilized and used on only one patient. Disposable instruments and instruments that cannot be sterilized are discarded after one use. Our staff disinfects all surfaces and changes gloves, masks and caps between patient visits. You can be assured that our practice takes every step possible to assure your health and safety.

He received his D.D.S. and M.S. from Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. At Marquette, Dr. Rudman received many honors and recognitions for his outstanding leadership abilities and academic achievements.
Dr. Rudman is passionate about dentistry. When he isn't creating healthy smiles, researching or writing about orthodontics, he enjoys spending time with his family pursuing the many activities Colorado has to offer. His personal interests include hiking, biking and skiing. As a Coloradoan, Dr. Rudman looks for opportunities to give back when he can, and has been involved with Dumb Friends League, which is a local animal shelter that rescues and adopts dogs, cats and other pets.
Dr. Rudman has been published in numerous orthodontic journals and has lectured in cities across the globe. Publications featuring Dr. Rudman include Angle Orthodontist, Orthodontic Products and Orthodontic Clinical Review. He also holds 5 U.S. patents for orthodontic technology. Dr. Rudman was a Clinical Associate Professor at Children's Hospital in Denver, from 1999-2003. In this faculty position, he provided education and training to pediatric dentists, concerning the growth of the jaw and how it relates to early orthodontic treatment. Understanding how the face and jaw grows has been an area in which he focuses and shares his expertise. He has adopted a non-extraction approach to braces to preserve all the teeth while ensuring there is adequate room in the jaw.

Dr Birg is a phenomenal orthodontist! Everyone thought I was crazy to do Invisalign as an adult. I get nothing but compliments from the results now. Dr Birg listened to my concerns and took time to explain treatment to me. His staff is friendly and well organized. If you want to improve your smile, this is the place to go!

Dr. Birg treated me for my orthodontic care with Invisalign and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience! Dr. Rudman and Dr. Birg both exemplify customer service values in the operation of this Orthodontics practice. My daughter was on her second day of a new school when her wire broke. It was uncomfortable for her physically and she wanted to make a good impression on her first few days. Dr. Rudman and Dr. Birg stayed past closing and gave me 30 minutes to drive to their location so they could fix her wire. They were joking and having fun the entire time. Talk about bedside manner. The Orthodontists, Assistants, and Office Staff here genuinely care about your kiddos. In addition, I felt they handled the pandemic restrictions as best as they could. I would recommend family and friends to this practice if I was asked for a recommendation.

I truly appreciate Advanced Orthodontic Care staff and Dr. Rudman. After having Invisalign placed, I ended up moving to Tucson, AZ and was not certain how I would continue treatment. However, the staff worked with my travel schedule and were kind enough to ship my retainers to me. I recently completed my treatment and even though I left the office, the dental assistant stayed afterhours to help address a concern I had with my permanent retainer because she knew I was travelling back to Tucson that evening.

I've been coming here since 5th grade (I'm now in college) and have only seen the best from Advanced orthodontics. Advanced orthodontics completely changed not just my teeth but my entire jaw. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do what they did to my smile.

Dr. Birg is AMAZING!!! He has been with my daughter from the start of her braces journey when other dentist couldn't figure it out. He is so patient and kind with her and she is never nervous to go see him, which I love because she doesn't ever mind going to the ortho then. The team at AOC is fantastic from the doctors to the assistants! They make you feel like you are there to see family during the visit. My daughter loved Abby and how gentle she was when working on her braces, which only made me love Abby as well. I feel like my daughter summed it up best after we left "I just felt like I left in a better mood then when we got there and they love animals... bonus!" - from my 11 year old.

Our family absolutely loves Dr. Jeff Birg and his staff at AOC! We had many other treatment consultations prior to our visit at AOC but no office made us feel at home as much as Dr. Birg's. We felt his treatment plan and clinical approach were conservative, realistic, and easy to incorporate into our lifestyle. Dr. Birg and his staff took time to answer all of our questions and never made us feel rushed. He clearly explained all the nuances of the different treatment plans so we could make informed decisions among all the options (Invisalign, traditional braces, inbrace, etc.). It's very hard to find a caring doctor who actually spends time addressing patients' needs. We are so thrilled we found Dr. Birg!

I had a wonderful experience going through the process with Dr. Rudman. I had Lingual Braces and had no pain whatsoever throughout the whole time. The whole team did an amazing job every appointment I had and it couldn't have been any easier!
