Dr. Hoang is a board-certified plastic surgeon. She developed her passion for plastic surgery at a young age, after seeing Operation Smile Documentary in 1989. She came to the United States at the age of fifteen to study and to pursue her dream. She has lived in many parts of the country but fell in love with Southern California during her Plastic Surgery training at UCLA and now calls Orange County her home. She is passionate, compassionate, and focused to provide her patients with the most beautiful and natural results that fit their active and healthy lifestyles.

Ice is a pretty common item that we find in drinks and used to keep items cold. It also can be fun to munch on once weve finished a drink or just when its hot outside and we want to cool down. However, ice can be quite tough on teeth and cause major damage. Due to the harder nature of ice, it takes a lot of force and effort to get it broken down. This effort can put a lot of pressure on our teeth, not only causing more wear than usual, but also putting pressure on your teeth that could cause a break or crack. On top of these two issues, ice can also damage the enamel on your teeth. Just because ice is water, that doesnt mean its healthy for you all the way around.
There are a lot of foods out there that disguise themselves as being a healthier option when, in reality, theyre really not all that great of an option. One of those items is sugar free gum. Now, there are a few approved sugar free gums that are just fine for your teeth. Try to stay away from the fruity or sour flavors of gum as those are usual the culprits, no matter if theyre sugar free or not. Try to shoot for sugar free gum that uses xylitol instead.
Although fruit is a great option when it comes to a snack, in comparison with candy and junk food, citrus fruits, in larger quantities, can do a number on your teeth. The acid in these fruits can cause unnatural amounts of wear on your teeth and eat away at the enamel. Of course, its definitely ok to eat these fruits, just watch that youre not going overboard on your citrus fruit intake.
Alcohol isnt that healthy for you all the way around, However, it can be a staple item found in most households and consumed by most adults on a daily or weekly basis. Alcohol is a bad choice when it comes to oral health in general. Not only can it increase your risk for mouth cancer but, it can cause dry mouth and dehydration. This, in turn, causes reduced saliva to the mouth which ups the risk for tooth decay, halitosis, etc.
There are many common foods and drinks out there that be damaging to not only your teeth but, your oral health in general. If you have any questions about your habits and the foods and drinks you consume on a consistent basis, speak with your dental care professional.

I had a great experience at ALD! They got me in as soon as I arrived. Barbara, Minh, and the entire staff was very helpful. They were able to work with me around my very limited schedule to get me treatment right away. My hygienist, Melodi, was very kind and wonderful to talk to. Dr. Vo and Monica even had me laughing during my treatment despite my initial anxiety. He did such a great job filling my cavities. I've always been afraid of the dentist, especially getting cavities filled. However, Dr. Vo went very slow with the numbing treatment in the beginning which helped tremendously. I didn't feel a thing! I highly recommend both ALD locations!

From the time I walk into the office to the time I leave, I always feel such a warm welcoming! The staff treats their patients so nice and Dr. Vo Vu always makes sure I'm doing ok and that I'm comfortable! I have been coming to his dentist Office for over ten years now and I have never had one complain! I love my dentist and the staff working together with him are so amazing! I've been very pleased with Dr. Vo and his team's work. After a Covid hiatus and a job change landed me in their offices for the first time, they've been great in creating plan to get my dental health on-track. I have had poor dental health for my lifetime, and Dr. Vo has alleviated anxieties about around seeing a new dentist and provided me with hope and comfort that my goals are attainable. What's more is they conduct their practice with good humor, good nature, and kindness.

I came here for my fillings and decided to stay and get Invisalign! I'm almost finished and I'm so happy with everything. The staff is also extremely nice and helpful! As long as you voice your concerns , if u come across any, they do everything they can to satisfy you! So happy with my results.

Started as a new patient 6 months ago. The dentist did my first cleaning. I am getting evaluated for straightening trays. The office staff reviewed the dental plan options available from my employer to suggest the best one with the most coverage. I just got my second cleaning last week. The hygienist was good. The doctor happened to be out that day but it was fine with me.

Dr. Vu Vo is an amazing dentist!! He's caring, and very gentle when working on my teeth. Because of Dr Vo I have a beautiful smile, and I'm always getting compliments on how straight & white my teeth are. I've been going to Dr Vo for a while now. And I actually enjoy going to get my teeth cleaned, the dental hygienist Melodi is also amazing, she's gentle and professional. Dr. Vo is an excellent dentist and his staff is also wonderful. I had some dental work done here that was much needed and delayed due to my reluctance to go to the dentist. Dr. Vo instantly made me feel at ease and came up with a plan. He was upfront about all costs, and he and his team worked quickly, diligently, and pretty painlessly! I never spent time waiting for my appointment which I appreciate. I also did the Straight T aligners to correct my bite. The aligners were easy to live with and there was really no pain associated with the process. The results were great! I've never had such straight teeth and I'm so impressed. I highly recommend Advanced Laster Dentistry.

I would give 6 stars if i could, and here's why. I'm a doctor, so inherently I'm skeptical and I want to know everything about the procedure I'm embarking on. Dr. Vo far exceeded my expectations--with him, skepticism is replaced by uber confidence (in him). 1. He explained the procedure in a very logical maner, including the +/-, the prospective results and the side-effects. He doesn't pull any punches; he tells it like it is. He is also very creative with solutions that you would never think about. 2. He is the extremely personable and down to earth. With him, the patient's satisfaction is priority so patients like me are never nervous. 3. He is HILARIOUS. I always leave the office laughing hysterically. I've had 8-9 office visit with Dr. Vo in the past 3 months and I feels like seeing a friend. 4. The resutls are amazing! I felt no pain through any of my procedures and I can see through the x-rays how perfect my crowns were. The bites were perfect; not too high nor low. I've had a high bite in the past and it caused me severe pain for several months. With Dr Vo, you have nothiing to worry about. Just sit back, smile, laugh, and enjoy the great experience.

Horrible! Worst dentist ever. I went in for a cleaning and they did x rays and then told me "we don't have time to do the cleaning but we can schedule it 3 weeks from now." Then they billed me $95 for just X-rays! And I have insurance! Stay far away and don't believe these fake/paid reviews.
