Dr. Chirag Patel graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2005. He then completed dental school at Columbia University in New York in 2009.In 2010, he completed an Advanced Education course in General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center.
Dr. Patel lives in Lakewood, IL and has three dogs. Dr. Patel is also an owner of his very own reef tank! In his leisure time, he likes to golf, exercise, travel, scuba dive, snorkel, and spend time with family.

This was my first visit to this dentist and I was nervous as with any dentist visit. The entire staff from reception to Dr Patel was as warm and calming as could be. They listened to my needs and followed through on all that was requested. I felt part of a family by the time I left and could not have higher praise for the work completed. I am glad to say I found my dentist.

I walked into the office nervous and embarrassed about how long I waited to see a dentist and how bad my teeth had gotten. The staff immediately put me at ease and Dr Patel couldn't be more of a kind and honest person. The facility is beautiful and is loaded with state of the art equipment so it really is a one stop shop that maintains affordable prices. My next visit (today) was almost painless considering multiple fillings and 4 crowns but he completely changed the way I look and feel about myself. This man and his staff are simply amazing! If you're nervous, embarrassed or even fearful of going to the dentist I would HIGHLY recommend you make an appointment as soon as possible. I still have work left to do with my teeth but I have zero fear of walking into that office next month for another go at it. I am just so thankful I found this wonderful team and I won't be seeing any other dentist as long as Dr Patel is around.

The entire team is always prompt, professional, and courteous. I've had 3 crowns put in by Dr.Patel and I can't tell the difference between the dental work done by his hands versus the dental work done by God's hands.

Went in complaining about my jaw hurting near where my first and only crown was placed 3 years ago. The dentist stated it was fine and even gave me a sharp tap on the crown with metal tool, then asking if that hurt. I told him it didn't fell good but the pain was around the crown. That day the hygienist also stated I needed a periodontal cleaning, which surprised me and my new dentist, as I have always had good oral hygiene. The next day or two, my crown came out of my mouth in two pieces while eating pizza. I called back and got a new crown put on and was told that the gums around the crown needed to be removed, because they were very unhealthy due to the old crown. Why didn't the dentist notice this before and disregard my concerns? When I went back for the 2nd half of my mouth to be cleaned as part of the periodontal cleaning, a new hygienist was working on me. She questioned that I was getting periodontal cleaning, and stated specifically that she will do it very mildly, as this doesn't seem necessary. I started to receive new bills in the mail, stating that I didn't pay all of my visit. And tried to speak to my dentist on several occasions over 3 months. When the office team became very abrupt stating the dentist doesn't work on billing. However, I wanted to discuss the care I had received and the displeasure I felt being ignored when my 3yrold crown broke off after his service. And what seems to be an upsell on the other services. Of course, I had also bought a very expensive mouth guard recommended by the dentist as well. Ultimately, I have found a recommended dentist and now cannot get them to send my x-rays or records to the new dentist after several weeks of calling and leaving voicemails every day or so. Now, in my frustration I would like others to know my experience and will reach out to the BBB for consideration as well.

Best dentist! They work hard to maximize benefits, while providing quality care. They have top of the line equipment. So procedures are seamless. The hygienist are awesome. I have never felt judged, only supported. Always provide options for treatment. Doctor is AMAZING. His work is flawless. Front office is kind and always welcomes with a smile. I can't say enough about this great team. They truly have changed how I feel about the dentist!
