Dr. Choi is originally from Korea where he studied and practiced general dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery for more than twenty years. In 2006, Dr. Choi relocated to the United States where he completed an internship in implant dentistry, certification in periodontics, and earned a Masters degree in Periodontics from Loma Linda University. Dr. Choi is trained and experienced in numerous advanced and specialty dentistry procedures, so our patients receive the highest quality care in a wide-array of dental services. Dr. Choi holds a Class III Texas State Conscious Sedation Permit that allows him to safely offer patients moderate sedation during dental treatments. He is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Well respected by his peers, Dr. Choi received the Outstanding Resident Award by the Western Society of Medicine in 2010, and earned diplomate status in the American Academy of Periodontology, as well as the Korean Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Korean Academy of Maxillofacial Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of numerous professional organizations including the Academy of Osseointegration, California Society of Periodontists, and European Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Wong is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Cornell University. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, and then completed her orthodontic residency and graduated with Master of Science degree from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Kevin Nguyen grew up in Garland, TX where he attended North Garland High School and the Texas Academy of Math and Science. Following graduation, he moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, graduating with a BS in neurobiology and minor in computer science. Following his time in Austin, he went on to attend Tufts University in Boston for dental school. After 4 long years, he couldnt wait to return home to the DFW area to be reunited with his family and friends.
Dr. Kevin considers himself a lifetime student and spends time keeping up to date on the latest methods, materials and technologies. He is dedicated to staying on the cutting edge to provide a better and easier experience for his patients. His favorite part of the job is meeting new people and listening to everyones unique stories.
Outside of work, Dr. Kevin and his wife enjoy traveling when they get the chance and trying new experiences and foods. National parks and hiking are their latest obsessions, where there is great opportunity for amazing photography. When he isnt at work, you can probably find him at the gym, watching movies or helping his wife try out the latest recipes.

I visited Advanced Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry, at 929 Warren Parkway, Frisco, TX, on Friday, August 19, 2022, for a simple teeth cleaning procedure. After a brief inspection of my teeth, they insisted that I needed a deep cleaning. I told them that I didn't have the time for the deep cleaning procedure and would just like the simple teeth cleaning procedure. The girl at the front desk said they would not do the simple cleaning and said they would only do the deep cleaning. They drove me away from having service and I left. These people only seemed interested in making more money than in providing good customer service. I'm giving this clinic a poor review and I hope you do not choose this clinic. The service is poor.

Sherry is great and friendly! Dr. Choi is very professional and helped me with my anxiety. I was scared to do an implant and bone graft but Dr. Choi did everything thorough and with the latest technology it was almost painless. They helped me with my anxiety and explained every step of the process so I would feel comfortable. Highly recommend Dr. Choi for any of your periodontal needs or implant procedure! Great office! The worst experience ever. One face when they want you pay the money, another face when you paid it. The doctor was good but the front desk woman was rude and unacceptable. I came here for remove my wisdom teeth and was told I need to came back for 13 cavities to be filled. Then I said I don't have dental insurance so it's a little expensive for me. Then the Taiwan lady asked is that expensive? you should go see another dentist. The attitude was not ok for patient. NEVER GO BACK!

Excellent surgery services and friendly staffs. I have had two extractions and deep cleaning in the past two months. Teeth conditions were explained all-around and the surgeries were quick. Have routine dental examinations scheduled with them and this place will be where my families go when there's a dental issue. Highly recommended!

My son has been orthodontics patient for a year and a half now, and Advanced Implants and Cosmetics has been great. He is very satisfied with the final product. The front desk is very efficient, nice, and flexible. My son is currently at school in Austin, and the front desk had no problems adjusting for our schedule and situation.

Amazing dental work and office! I am so glad I found Advanced Implant. I have had an extraction, implant and root canal done with them and all 3 have been such a breeze! I normally hate going to the dentist but have felt zero pain and have had awesome and quick recovery. Dr. Choi is so great and quick. The entire staff is always so helpful with everything and answering my questions and so nice! You can definitely trust Advanced Implant with all your dental needs.

Such a pathetic and ridiculous place to be in. My appointment is at 4pm but I have to wait an hour to start my whole mouth restoration. Sherry, the manager, told me to buy a specific insurance that covers implant which can be done this year. However, I end up wasting my insurance because doctor told me I cannot implant this year. Sherry is rude and unprofessional when it comes to answering my questions. Please never go to this dental place because there are plenty of good places in Dallas.

Love this place so much. Staff is very professional and nice. Just left from an appointment, and I couldn't be happier. One specific staff member made me feel more comfortable as well. All I know is she's from Guanajuato, Mexico lol. Recommend this place 10/10. Looking forward to my next visit!

I first heard about Dr. Choi because I was shopping for dental implant for my two bad teeth. The coinsurance price for a dental implant quoted by this clinic was less than half of the quote of the other clinics. The decision was a no-brainer. This was not my first implant, I noticed Dr. Choi is a very experienced specialist and even their equipment is more advanced than my previous doctor. I was a happy camper after my implants that I actually switched all my regular dental works to this clinic. Every staff member of this clinic is helpful and amiable, that I feel comfortable to call them when I have any doubt or question. I bit my tongue by accident a couple days ago. I called the office in the morning and they were able to work me in to see Dr. Choi right away in a COUPLE HOURS! I was very touched with the attention I received from them.

The staff is highly professional, friendly, cheerful and above all careful. The dentist (kevin) constantly made efforts to ensure my comfort and ease. The front desk staff after the second visit recognized me and greeted me by name. I highly recommend this place. They also have a sister office in Plano so if a time doesn't work they can check that office as well. Again I highly recommend and have 0 complaints.

Have been coming here since I moved for Texas! Very friendly staff members and all my teeth problems are finally fixed! I received an implant from Advanced Dental, it has been working well as its my tooth. Highly recommend!
