Originally from Rochester, NY, Dr. Basta moved to Milwaukee, WI to pursue his goal of becoming a dentist at Marquette University. While in Milwaukee, Dr. Basta grew to love the Midwest and the people who live there. In his free time, Dr. Basta enjoys singing, playing guitar and spending time with friends. After completing dental school, Dr. Basta decided to stay in the Midwest and move to Chicago. Dr. Basta completed a one-year general residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital improving his skills in oral surgery, gum surgery, special needs dentistry, and implant placements, among many other disciplines. Dr. Basta really enjoys the sights that the city has to offer, attending many of Chicagos music festivals, and looks forward to meeting all the new patients!
Dr. Malik graduated from Elmhurst College where in three years she received a bachelors in biological sciences. She then received her formal dental training from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. After three years of private practice, Dr. Malik joined The Ohio State University College of Dentistry to pursue her passion of Advanced Prosthodontics. During that time, Dr. Malik received formal training in complex full mouth oral rehabilitation, implant surgery and implant restorations. She also completed her masters research on digital dentures.
Dr. Jason Jamali is originally from Michigan. He obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan followed by his dental degree at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Jamali then returned to the University of Michigan for his medical and oral and maxillofacial surgery training. This training exposed him to full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with additional training in reconstruction and microvascular surgery. Dr. Jamali also completed two years of general surgery and advanced training in anesthesia.
Following residency Dr. Jamali worked as a full-time assistant professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago. While at UIC, he taught residents and dental students and authored several publications. Dr. Jamali continues teaching residents at Illinois Masonic Hospital where he also treats facial trauma. He has a special interest in orthognathic surgery, implants, facial trauma, and benign pathology.

This office is extremely unprofessional.l mistakenly went to another dental office less than 50 feet away l called the office and explained and was told my appointment is cancelled.l.was two minutes late.l traveled over a hour to get to this place .l was interested in getting a all on four .I will spend my money at a more professional practice .in a better neighborhood

I had 2 of my wisdom teeth extracted early July. There was a normal amount of pressure. I only felt pain once during my procedure when part of a tooth was being pulled in which tingles were felt in half of my lower face. That same area is still numb post-op but has got better as time goes on. The front desk and assistant are very helpful and nice!!

Great Work! Got my wisdom tooth removed that was completely broken off, I thought this would be more of a problem but, wah-lah! Out in a snap! Painless! Would highly recommend!

Had to visit this dental office today and the office was very clean and organized. The receptionists we're polite. The dental assistant was sweet and the dentist hisself was very explanatory as to how the procedure would take place. And everyone was open to any questions you have. Great place to go. Just not a lot of space to park.

I had an amazing appointment on 3/30/2022 I went Almost 2 years trying to find a dentist to even get into that took my insurance. I was only going in for a consultation and I came out with 13 teeth pulled Dr Jamali is an amazing oral surgeon I will recommend him to everyone I know. He makes u feel comfortable he explains everything to the fullest answers all your questions and he goes at your pace if you need a break all you gotta do is say so. Thanx so much Dr Jamali

Dr. Jamali is quick, professional, passionate, and to the point. I have seen him a few times over the years (2 extractions .. he let me keep my teeth to gross out my family lol) .. he is attentive and responsive.. he doesn't care to suggest procedures unless needed. Aside from that, the practice is affordable and professional!
