Dr. Chen comes to work every day to instantly relieve his patients from tooth pain. He works to make every root canal better, faster, and more pain-free than the last. His dedication to excellence is fueled by his desire to solve problems and design new ways to execute solutions for his patients. Staying up to speed with advancements in pain-control and endodontic technologies enables him to raise the bar, save natural teeth, and provide stress-free root canals to his patients in Central Florida.
Dr. Chen inspires young endodontists at Harvard University and within our practice. His pursuit of personal and professional growth has grown not only our practice, but drives our entire team to grow as well. He volunteers with Feeding Children Everywhere, Ronald McDonald House, and provides charity dental work to underserved communities multiple times each year.
Dr. Chen is a member of the American Association of Endodontics and the American Dental Association. He was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for teaching at Harvard Dental School from 2004 to 2019.
When hes not working, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Charity, and his adorable children, Chloe and Aiden. He spends his free time singing karaoke, learning wing chun, practicing archery, and collecting swords. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
Dentistry runs in Dr. Alcaldes family and after seeing the immediate, positive impact of the root canal procedure, he decided that endodontics was right for him. Preventing pain, saving teeth, and recovering an infected tooths function fuels Dr. Alcaldes passion for endodontics. This inspires him to seek out the best, most effective ways to provide his patients long-lasting relief. He enjoys volunteer work and contributes his time and skill to the Connecticut Mission of Mercy, Florida Mission of Mercy, and Project: Dentist Care in Fort Myers, Florida.
Dr. Ryan Brennan is passionate about relieving his patients pain and saving their natural teeth. Endodontics challenges him every day to improve his clinical skills and provide the highest level of care possible.
Along with being a full-time endodontist, Dr. Brennan volunteers at the Florida Mission of Mercy and participates in Dentistry from the Heart events. During his fellowship at The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Los Angeles Chapter, he established two free dental clinics in which dental students provide free dental care to patients in need in the Los Angeles area. Both the Homeless not Toothless and MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) organizations are still operating and serving their respective communities. Further, during his undergrad at UCLA, he organized eight mission trips to Honduras to provide advanced dental services to communities in need.
Dr. Brennan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. His passion for providing excellent dental services has not gone unnoticed. He is a recipient of the AAE 2016 Poster Clinic Award, the 2014 ADA Certificate for International Volunteer Service, the International College of Dentists Leadership Award, and the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry Comprehensive Patient Care Award.

Great practice! Would highly recommend. Dr Chen is very thorough in his providing the patient the process for treatment. He makes getting a root canal easy! The staff is great and very professional. They are quick to follow up to answer any questions you may have. You cannot go wrong with Advanced Endodontics!

Staff was friendly. I found it highly unusual and inappropriate that they wait until you are in chair and have had local anesthetics to actual charge you. Do it in the office before or after. Pretty ridiculous.

Dr. Chen @ advanced endodontics is the most skilled root canal specialist. He fit me as an emergency patient. He was professional, treated you like a patient, not just a number. He explained in detail the best corse of action. I highly recommend Dr. Chen for your root canals. His team players were exceptionally sweet. They made you feel as comfortable as possible & feel more confident in getting a root canal which is not generally a great experience. But after going to Dr. Chen you can rest assure you are in the best hands. I highly recommend him. You will never fear getting a root canal again.

Dr Chen and his staff are great. They care about your comfort in every situation. From the front desk workers, to the dental assistants, to Dr Chen himself, I felt heard and taken care of. The root canal was on my bottom front tooth, which has a veneer on the tooth. Dr Chen was able to work around the veneer and save it, as well as the tooth itself. It's been a day since the procedure, and I barely feel any discomfort. Dr Chen rocks!

This was my second root canal done at this office and it's always a great experience. The dentist is really funny and always makes me feel comfortable. They have me cool sunglasses for the procedure that they let me keep. They also gave me a t-shirt with the office logo printed on the front. Made me feel like I had one a prize for best root canal. Also, the girl at the front desk is super cute and I wish I had gotten her number.

I had to have emergency dental work done yesterday. I was so impressed with how nice and attentive the young ladies up front were, they made sure I got in there! Dr. Mona & Julia did everything to keep me comfortable and well informed. I want to thank the staff for helping me and making it happen! I felt so much better leaving the office

The actual procedure of the root canal went great. I didn't feel any pain, as an anxious person though I wish that they didn't let a new dental assistant in training handle me, considering how she kept getting verbal cues from her coworkers. She didn't know how to take my X-rays which was not comfortable at all. I get it, she needs to train, but maybe with someone less anxious.

Dr. Chen performed two procedures on me: a two-part root canal and external root repair which required gum surgery. Needless to say, I went into both procedures extremely anxious. I've never had any of this kind of work, done and I freak out over this type of stuff. I don't like taking sedatives or medication, so I went in with my own coping skills and my favorite music on blast in my ears. I'm not an easy patient, but Dr. Chen and his staff explained everything to me as many times as I asked. They were patient with me, which is something I need. Dr. Chen is so good at what he does, that it feels like I'm out of the chair in no time. If I ever have to have this done again, he's the only Dr. I will see.

I have the worst anxiety when it comes to dental work. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and that put my mind at ease. The Dr was great and I didn't have much pain afterwards.
