Dr. Chen comes to work every day to instantly relieve his patients from tooth pain. He works to make every root canal better, faster, and more pain-free than the last. His dedication to excellence is fueled by his desire to solve problems and design new ways to execute solutions for his patients. Staying up to speed with advancements in pain-control and endodontic technologies enables him to raise the bar, save natural teeth, and provide stress-free root canals to his patients in Central Florida.
Dr. Chen inspires young endodontists at Harvard University and within our practice. His pursuit of personal and professional growth has grown not only our practice, but drives our entire team to grow as well. He volunteers with Feeding Children Everywhere, Ronald McDonald House, and provides charity dental work to underserved communities multiple times each year.
Dr. Chen is a member of the American Association of Endodontics and the American Dental Association. He was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for teaching at Harvard Dental School from 2004 to 2019.
When hes not working, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Charity, and his adorable children, Chloe and Aiden. He spends his free time singing karaoke, learning wing chun, practicing archery, and collecting swords. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
Dentistry runs in Dr. Alcaldes family and after seeing the immediate, positive impact of the root canal procedure, he decided that endodontics was right for him. Preventing pain, saving teeth, and recovering an infected tooths function fuels Dr. Alcaldes passion for endodontics. This inspires him to seek out the best, most effective ways to provide his patients long-lasting relief. He enjoys volunteer work and contributes his time and skill to the Connecticut Mission of Mercy, Florida Mission of Mercy, and Project: Dentist Care in Fort Myers, Florida.
Dr. Ryan Brennan is passionate about relieving his patients pain and saving their natural teeth. Endodontics challenges him every day to improve his clinical skills and provide the highest level of care possible.
Along with being a full-time endodontist, Dr. Brennan volunteers at the Florida Mission of Mercy and participates in Dentistry from the Heart events. During his fellowship at The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Los Angeles Chapter, he established two free dental clinics in which dental students provide free dental care to patients in need in the Los Angeles area. Both the Homeless not Toothless and MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) organizations are still operating and serving their respective communities. Further, during his undergrad at UCLA, he organized eight mission trips to Honduras to provide advanced dental services to communities in need.
Dr. Brennan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. His passion for providing excellent dental services has not gone unnoticed. He is a recipient of the AAE 2016 Poster Clinic Award, the 2014 ADA Certificate for International Volunteer Service, the International College of Dentists Leadership Award, and the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry Comprehensive Patient Care Award.

The service that I received fom Dr. Alcalde was beyond excellent. I came in for a consult as an Emergency consult late in the day almost 5 pm. He did not have any availability for the next 3 weeks. Him and his assistant stayed that same day to heal me. Now days you don't see that from any Dr's to stay after hours in order to help their patients. It's all about the mighty dollar. What an exemplary true Doctor to help and heal their patients. I have only seen these types of Doctors overseas. True to there profesion. Not only to make money but.... to help and heal people. I had damaged several teeth and needed three root canals in a time-frame of 3 days, as I was leaving the state. Dr. Alcalde and his assistant Julia worked with the front desk, Nylander to clear a huge time slot to help me out with the needed procedures and the short timeline. They were amazing and very professional. Because of their care and willingness to help me, we were able to get all three root canals completed and will work for me pain free until I can get back to the state. Thank you all very much for your kindness and patience.

Advanced Endodontics was incredible! Every single person there was friendly, efficient and kind - and they took me right when I arrived. I had a terrible experience at another endodontist office where they made me wait an hour both times before they saw me and even cancelled my appointment after I arrived. I'm SO glad that I made the switch. I don't like going to the dentist but this was a great experience!

Dr Mona and Dental Assistant, Nikki, are amazing! My son had to have a root canal and was very nervous and they calmed him right down and explained everything to him and I. They are very personable , very knowledgeable and very gentle. My son actually fell asleep during his procedure! I wish I could give them 10 stars ! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a root canal!
