Dr. Hamad is a California native who grew up in Los Angeles. He attended Glendale High School and graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Cairo University in 1994. He received his DDS from the State University at Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1999 and was subsequently commissioned as an Officer in the U. S. Navy.

His first duty station was Norfolk, VA where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He then transferred to NTC Great Lakes, Illinois where he spent three years as part of the Great Lakes training facility Endodontic Department.

After tutelage from seven endodontists in Great Lakes, Dr. Hamad was awarded a Certificate in Endodontics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, in Bethesda, MD, as well as a masters degree in Health Sciences from George Washington University, in Washington, D.C.

Afterward, Dr. Hamad served as the Endodontics Department Head at Groton Submarine Base in Groton, CT. Currently, he works as a part-time clinical associate professor for the endodontic department at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
