High quality endodontics care and the comfort of ourpatients are the primary concerns and goals of our practice. We have invested heavily in the most modern endodontics equipment available such as the newest surgical and re-treatment instruments, microscopes, computer generated radiographs, and much more. This equipment has not only reduced the chair time for patients, but has increased the quality and predictability of the final endodontic result.

Recent advances in digital imaging now allow us to use a computer to generate dental radiographs. CDR decreases the time it takes to obtain a radiograph, multiple images can be produced using a standard printer, and it decreases the amount of radiation from standard films by up to 80 percent. If you have further questions about CDR, please feel free to ask Dr. Mayhew or the Staff.

Carestream Dentals state of the art imaging system combines their award winning 3D imaging with the power of 3D. The CS 8100 3D delivers the most accurate view of patients anatomy for improved diagnostic, treatment planning and surgical predictability and provides views of any anatomical situation from every angle.

The fee for your treatment is determined by the complexity of the tooth being treated. This will be presented to you prior to the beginning of your treatment. If this has been neglected, please do not hesitate to ask.

Your insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company and we have no control over the insurance companys method of payment or amount of payment. As a service to you we will estimate your insurance benefit information in order to file an insurance claim form. Your estimated co-payment and any unmet deductible are due the day of treatment.

I would highly recommend this facility and Dr. Mason for your root canal needs. I was extremely nervous and have serious dental anxiety, so heading to the office, i was so scared. I was greeted by the lovely staff and treated with so much compassion. The procedure was painless, and so quick! I walked out with a smile! I apparently need another root canal on another tooth, and my first and only place will be back to Dr. Mason and team! I appreciate you all all so much!!!!!

As a dentist myself, I had to have a root canal. I can say without hesitation that these are the doctors you need to have perform any difficult root canal. They are not only professional, but very kind, gentle, and easy to work with.

I am a new patient of Dr. Mason. I needed a root canal and Dr. Mason performed the procedure. My entire experience, from the first call for an appointment to checking out after completion of the procedure, was a 5-star experience. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly which was a necessity given the unpredictability and pain associated with a root canal. They made room in their schedule and started the process at 7:45 am to accommodate me. Between scheduling the appointment and my arrival at the office, they had communicated with my dentist and with my insurance company, ensuring their understanding of my dental issues as well as my insurance coverage. I received a complete and accurate listing of my out of pocket expense prior to my first appointment. I was given the option to cancel the appointment in case I didn't want to pay the out of pocket costs. The out of pocket expenses were less than 50% of what an other endodontist office had quoted me for the same procedure. Dr. Mason was well informed of my dental problem because he had thoroughly reviewed my referring dentist notes. He listened to my concerns. He explained the entire procedure, what to expect during and after, all potential risks (none of which I experienced), and complimented my dentist on the work that had already been performed. His numbing injections, of which I had 4, were essentially just a little sting and the most gentle I have had in any dental office. The procedure took almost 2 hours and I am pain free and very relieved now. The person assisting Dr. Mason was very kind and equally gentle and continuously ensured my comfort during the procedure. While I do hope that I will never have to see an endodontist again, I will not hesitate to see Dr. Mason immediately should the need arise again. I am so thankful for the pain relief and for the work Dr. Mason did.

I got referred to Advanced Endodontics from my primary dental provider. They were able to schedule an appointment quickly and even moved the appointment up when they received a cancellation. The x-rays went smoothly and the doctor explained the situation in depth. Overall excellent office experience.

I was referred to Dr Mason by my dentist after complications with a root canal. It's been a bit complex and about 3 stages to fix things. I've never had shots with less pain than from Dr Mason. Exceptional. There is always a bit of Science in this sort of work but it is the art of conducting the science component that shows real skill and caring! The Doc and staff (Jackie) have been phenomenal throughout all my complications! So glad to have access to such an excellent team!

I found Dr. Mayhew to be a very skilled professional, who is both reassuring and compassionate. I went in for a root canal that was complicated. In the process he discovered another tooth that was badly infected to the jaw bone. He was able to save both teeth at the same time with root surgery. I'm on a tight budget and he treated me very fairly for this unforseen additional treatment. I would not hesitate to recommended Dr. Mayhew for endodontics.

I am so thankful my dentist referred me to Dr. Mason. After Dr. Mason finished the root canal procedure I told him it was not that bad. Actually I should have said, "it was good!" Compared to my previous root canals I had in the past, "it was good!" I felt just a little pain when he administered the shot and that was it. Dr. Mason took the time to explain everything in great detail. I have another tooth that will need a root canal in the near future and I will have Dr. Mason take care of that tooth as well. Dr. Mason and his staff are true professionals. Dr. Mason Thank you to you and your team for a job well done!

I wrote a bad review recently, but I removed it, and genuinely apologize. Opinions change and I am taking the time out to write my full experience. I hope this will give people some better insight on this office: Initially, I had some conflicts with the office and scheduling and I did not have the best experience. Honestly, that may have just been from my own mindset at the time. The office manager Nancy, was very patient with me, and spent about two weeks coordinating with me through email and phone calls. Eventually We were able to find a fit time to see Dr.Mayhew, and have my procedure taken care of around my work schedule (I work business hours so scheduling can be very tricky.) For anyone wanting insight on his experience, and bedside manner: it's definitely there. My situation was bad. I had an abscess that took me over a full year to get treated between the pandemic, general dentists, and other offices disregarding the problem and focusing solely on making sure they were paid upfront. The pain was terrible, and the chronic sinus headaches from the location of the infection was awful. This was the ONLY doctor to not only treat my issue how he said he was going to, but then made it a point to go the extra mile. After re-doing my build up, he performed a root canal on another tooth in about 15-20 minutes for the sake of preventative action and care. And somehow was able to still make his next appointment on time. I am absolutely terrified of needles. I did not once feel pain when he was in the process of numbing me, I was numb almost instantly. When he made the incision and I panicked he asked three times if I was okay to ensure I was not in any pain. Then the rest of the procedure continued with him entertaining me with stories about his children, and his experience back in my hometown of Philadelphia. It was nice to be able to focus on that, and calm down instead of the idea that I was getting cut into and stitched up. The receptionist Berlin was amazing, she was very helpful in the billing process. At the end of my visit Dr.Mayhew even gave a follow up call himself after leaving to make sure I was okay. This is irrelevant but His assistant also gave me an amazing tattoo referral. The bedside manner was extremely caring and genuine. I would highly recommend this office for anyone who needs any Endodontic procedure that that they can perform. And Highly recommend for anyone with Military affiliation. I just want this to be posted so this offices dedication and care for their work doesn't go unnoticed.

Dr. Mayhew has a wonderful manner that put me at ease. I had a slightly complicated root canal and he took the time to explain all outcomes to me with compassion and candor. This combination is rare in any field--but especially in healthcare. I also think he read my personality pretty well as someone who likes to understand the details of what is going on. He calmly explained what was going to take place at each step and the corresponding cost. Twenty four hours after my procedure, I received a phone call from HIM asking me how my recovery was going. Very impressive! If you need a root canal, I highly recommend Dr. Mayhew. His staff are warm and extremely professional. --Tom O.

I had to take my 96 year old mother in because a molar that she had a root canal done on years before was hurting when she tried to eat. Dr Mayhew checked it and the root canal was not the source if the pain. It was a filling that was irritating the gum. He fixed the problem. I was very impressed with Dr Mayhew and the office staff. I recommend highly.
