Dr. Chen comes to work every day to instantly relieve his patients from tooth pain. He works to make every root canal better, faster, and more pain-free than the last. His dedication to excellence is fueled by his desire to solve problems and design new ways to execute solutions for his patients. Staying up to speed with advancements in pain-control and endodontic technologies enables him to raise the bar, save natural teeth, and provide stress-free root canals to his patients in Central Florida.
Dr. Chen inspires young endodontists at Harvard University and within our practice. His pursuit of personal and professional growth has grown not only our practice, but drives our entire team to grow as well. He volunteers with Feeding Children Everywhere, Ronald McDonald House, and provides charity dental work to underserved communities multiple times each year.
Dr. Chen is a member of the American Association of Endodontics and the American Dental Association. He was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for teaching at Harvard Dental School from 2004 to 2019.
When hes not working, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Charity, and his adorable children, Chloe and Aiden. He spends his free time singing karaoke, learning wing chun, practicing archery, and collecting swords. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
Dentistry runs in Dr. Alcaldes family and after seeing the immediate, positive impact of the root canal procedure, he decided that endodontics was right for him. Preventing pain, saving teeth, and recovering an infected tooths function fuels Dr. Alcaldes passion for endodontics. This inspires him to seek out the best, most effective ways to provide his patients long-lasting relief. He enjoys volunteer work and contributes his time and skill to the Connecticut Mission of Mercy, Florida Mission of Mercy, and Project: Dentist Care in Fort Myers, Florida.
Dr. Ryan Brennan is passionate about relieving his patients pain and saving their natural teeth. Endodontics challenges him every day to improve his clinical skills and provide the highest level of care possible.
Along with being a full-time endodontist, Dr. Brennan volunteers at the Florida Mission of Mercy and participates in Dentistry from the Heart events. During his fellowship at The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Los Angeles Chapter, he established two free dental clinics in which dental students provide free dental care to patients in need in the Los Angeles area. Both the Homeless not Toothless and MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) organizations are still operating and serving their respective communities. Further, during his undergrad at UCLA, he organized eight mission trips to Honduras to provide advanced dental services to communities in need.
Dr. Brennan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. His passion for providing excellent dental services has not gone unnoticed. He is a recipient of the AAE 2016 Poster Clinic Award, the 2014 ADA Certificate for International Volunteer Service, the International College of Dentists Leadership Award, and the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry Comprehensive Patient Care Award.

Dr. Brennan and his staff were wonderful. I was in need of a root canal and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Brennan and his assistants made me feel calm and comfortable during the whole process which was entirely pain free. Dr. Brennan worked quickly and the procedure was over in no time. A few days after my procedure a got a nice text from the office making sure that I was okay. If you need a root canal, this is the place to go.

I was referred to by my dentist for a root canal. I was called the night before my visit to confirm my appointment. I was greeted on my arrival there with great service and very happy personal. It had many years since I had had a root canal and I was really impressed on how truly painless that it turned out to be. They made me feel very comfortable and we're very quick in getting the work done. I am truly impressed with this practice. Thank you for making this so easy.

Everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistants and Dr. Chen himself were extremely polite, professional, and pleasant to interact with despite my facing a root canal. They shared information about what they were doing each step of the process. When we reached the decision time, Dr. Chen showed me the xray results and explained the details of what they showed. He discussed his prognosis and my options after which we concurred on a plan to move forward. The root canal process itself went quite smoothly. Once again the staff made sure of my comfort during the procedure and at its conclusion. I have been to Dr. Chen when I needed a root canal for a number of years and have been fortunate to observe his growth as an endodontist and to experience the " growth" of our doctor / patient relationship. I have and will continue to recommend Dr.Chen to friends in the future.

Oh man, this place is fancy. All they do is root canals so if that's what you need then these Doctors are your go to experts. Never had a root canal done so fast and pain free. This is my 4th one and Modern dentistry has come a long way. Dr Brennan, I think I spelled it right, used like a microscope the whole time while working on the tooth. Knowing he can see every tiny detail to ensure the canal has been freed of everything made me less worried about it failing. It was really impressive all around.

Our first time at AE and our experience was amazing! Walking in everyone was very welcoming and friendly. My son had work done with Dr. Brennan and his team (Julia and Angie) made my son feel very comfortable during his procedure. I highly recommend AE!

Broke file off inside tooth during root canal. She made it sound like no big deal And left it there. She said I need to reschedule and come back later so they may bypass it to finish root canal. When I asked if you can bypass it why can't you remove it. No answer... then asked why y'all just didn't do that today, again very vague answer. Going back in 2 weeks to have owner attempt to remove broken file and complete root canal. Hope it works , will update review after that appointment. Thanks Update:: Dr. Chen (owner) was able to remove file and complete root canal in second visit. Was very personable and explained everything in detail. He was noticeably efficient. Updating review to more stars . Thx

I'm a Big Baby when it comes to the dentist. Today my vertigo decided to kick in on me today in the process of my root Canal. Everyone jumped in to assist me with care and, to make sure I was okay and also gave me some time to cool down afterwards everything went well. My kind of dentist! Thank you all so much. The whole office staff is nice and friendly. Doctor Brennan did my root canal and he worked very fast to get it done in a timely manner which is very impressive. I feel zero pain. This is the best root canal tI ever had. Lol. I recommend this office to everyone.

Zero pain. Was freaked out, scared out of my mind. No reason for that. I was so numb I couldnt feel my eyeball. Once that hit I knew it might be ok...and it really was. Dont believe the hype on the whole "root canal/ horrid/God help you now mentality. Zero pain.

Went in to do a consultation for a root canal, ended up getting it done the same day. The staff was so wonderful, everything was done so professionally and everything was explained to me before hand. I definitely would recommend any services here! I honestly was so surprised at how the procedure was done quickly and perfectly.
