Dr. Jacob Fimple, an Omaha native, is proud to be part of the Omaha community. He greatly enjoys nature and strives to maintain fitness as an integral part of his life. Outside of the office, most of his time is spent with family.
Through endodontic therapy, Dr. Fimple expresses his desire to provide care to people on a daily basis. In particular, Dr. Fimple finds it most rewarding to offer comfort and relief to patients in pain and to preserve teeth that would otherwise be lost. Seeing patients resume their normal life after an infection or serious toothache is very satisfying. Dr. Fimple possesses a natural ability to empathize with patients, and he understands the patients need for comfort and attention.
This exciting field of dentistry has been blessed with a vast number of recent advances. He states, I believe it is my duty to incorporate available technology that is proven safe, in an effort to offer the most comfortable and effective treatment to my patients.
Our office employs digital radiography, which has been shown to reduce the radiation exposure to patients by as much as 90%. Additionally, images are displayed instantly and the need for toxic chemicals is eliminated. Whats more, we have dental operating microscopes which allow for extreme magnification inside the tooth to look for extra canals, cracks and other factors that could affect the prognosis of the treatment.
Dr. Fimple enjoyed the great experience of serving patients in a private practice setting for three years in the Boston area. He also instructed students at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine as well as Creighton Universitys Dental School. This has offered Dr. Fimple the opportunity to contribute knowledge and experience to our future dentists.

Dr. Sung Woo Kang spent most of his life on the East coast before he moved to Omaha. He studied biophysics at Johns Hopkins University and received his bachelors degree with departmental honors. After graduating from college, Dr. Kang attended Columbia University in New York City for his dental education and received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. He later completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) training at Eastman Institute for Oral Health in New York and received his Master of Dental Science. Afterwards, Dr. Kang continued his dental training in endodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, from which he received a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) upon completion of his training. Dr. Kang was the winner of the Stanley L. Handelman Fellowship Award at Eastman Institute for Oral Health and the Alvin Krakow Harvard/Forsyth Endowed Endodontic Research Fund Award.
After practicing many years on the East coast, Dr. Kang joined Advanced Endodontic Therapy and moved to Omaha. He has been impressed by how nice and warm everyone is here in Nebraska and absolutely loves life in the Midwest.
Dr. Marco V. Galvez emigrated from El Salvador and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Chemistry at Weber State University, Utah in 1987. He received his DDS degree from Creighton University, Omaha in 1992. He established his practice In Idaho as a general dentist from 1992 to 2008, then joined the United States Air Force as a general dentist from 2008-2014. As an active Air Force member, he graduated in 2016 from Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics at Louisiana State University with a Master of Science in Oral Biology and a certificate in Endodontics. His thesis and research presentation consisted of new irrigation system protocols to eliminate endodontic fungal infections, and his findings were presented at the American Association of Endodontics annual meeting in San Francisco in 2016. As an Air Force officer, he graduated from Air Command and Sta studies in 2012 and from Air War College in 2014 obtaining the rank of Colonel in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Galvez has been assigned to Offutt Air Force Base where he is a part of the dental faculty, teaching new Air Force dentists the most current concepts and techniques in endodontics. He is an active member of the America Association of Endodontists and the American Board of Endodontists. He is currently credentialed for VA Health Services.
His passion for endodontics started early in his general practice. He believed in saving teeth by incorporating new technologies and materials from the field of Endodontics, especially by taking many continuing education courses specific to the field. With many years of private practice experience, Dr. Galvez understands the dental needs of his patients as well as those of his referring providers. His love for the field of endodontics increases as he continues to teach dental residents and practices in the Omaha community. He is married and is a father of 5 boys. He enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys recreational activities and sports. He enjoys serving in his church and community.

I had a wonderful experience during my root canal procedure at Advanced Endodontic Therapy-West Center and would highly recommend this clinic. They are outstanding. Dr. Jackson and his assistants (Julie and Nancy) are all wonderful, knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Dr. Jackson took his time to explain to me my condition and what the procedure entailed. They all ensured I had a smooth root canal procedure and follow up. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful with my insurance. I highly recommend this clinic.

I was in the worst uncomfortable pain walking into the office and turned out I needed a root canal. Wow! The professionalism and kindness from each and every employee was outstanding. I was so incredibly happy to not be in pain anymore and I was very comfortable in the chair getting the work done! Thank you all SO MUCH for helping me! What an absolute relief!

I had never had a root canal done before and really didn't know what to expect. Dr Kang and the girls were very kind and caring, explaining all that needed to be done, why and how. I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. I received a call a few days later to answer any questions I had and to make sure I was not experiencing any issues. Thank you very much for a very pleasant first time experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Advanced Endodontic Therapy. Root canals sound scary, but it was very quick and practically painless! I think I even dozed off during the procedure! I would 10/10 recommend Dr. Kang.

Dr Kang, and all the staff, made a not-so-fun visit to the dentist a good experience. Everyone was super helpful and explained everything very well. They ensured I was comfortable the entire time, and answered all my questions. Not that I would wish for anyone to need endodontic care... but should you find yourself in that position, I would highly recommend Advanced Endodontic Therapy.

They took the time to explain every step of the dental procedure I had done, which I really appreciated. I cannot recommend them enough!

Had to have a retreatment on one of my teeth and was in horrible pain when I was referred to them. I was able to get in rather quickly and get the process started. Very nervous about dentists and have been with my own dentist my entire life and hope he never retires! :-) I felt VERY at ease with Dr. Kang and his assistants. I was told what all was going to happen before work started and what would happen afterwards. They offered you a blanket, iPod with noise cancelling headphones, mouth wedge to keep mouth open and you can relax your muscles, and a hot towel after the procedure. First time using headphones in a dental chair and it was amazing! Turn on the music and jam out. Follow-up appointment was a breeze as well. I had a lot of questions and everyone was so informative. If I ever have to have a root canal again, I would definitely go back and have the work done here. Absolutely great staff and Dr.!

The staff are very nice and professional. They made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. DDS Kang did my root canal and was very gentle and kind. Being anxious about my appointment, I was able to calm down with music they have there for you to listen to and just a very zen feeling that you don't get anywhere else. I'm very grateful that I got my procedure done here and will come back in the near future. Thank you so much!!!

I had a root canal done here two weeks ago. Best dental experience ever! So professional, comfortable, and I don't know what that vibrating thingy was for the lidocaine but every dentist needs to get one of those!
