Dr. Jacob Fimple, an Omaha native, is proud to be part of the Omaha community. He greatly enjoys nature and strives to maintain fitness as an integral part of his life. Outside of the office, most of his time is spent with family.
Through endodontic therapy, Dr. Fimple expresses his desire to provide care to people on a daily basis. In particular, Dr. Fimple finds it most rewarding to offer comfort and relief to patients in pain and to preserve teeth that would otherwise be lost. Seeing patients resume their normal life after an infection or serious toothache is very satisfying. Dr. Fimple possesses a natural ability to empathize with patients, and he understands the patients need for comfort and attention.
This exciting field of dentistry has been blessed with a vast number of recent advances. He states, I believe it is my duty to incorporate available technology that is proven safe, in an effort to offer the most comfortable and effective treatment to my patients.
Our office employs digital radiography, which has been shown to reduce the radiation exposure to patients by as much as 90%. Additionally, images are displayed instantly and the need for toxic chemicals is eliminated. Whats more, we have dental operating microscopes which allow for extreme magnification inside the tooth to look for extra canals, cracks and other factors that could affect the prognosis of the treatment.
Dr. Fimple enjoyed the great experience of serving patients in a private practice setting for three years in the Boston area. He also instructed students at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine as well as Creighton Universitys Dental School. This has offered Dr. Fimple the opportunity to contribute knowledge and experience to our future dentists.

Dr. Sung Woo Kang spent most of his life on the East coast before he moved to Omaha. He studied biophysics at Johns Hopkins University and received his bachelors degree with departmental honors. After graduating from college, Dr. Kang attended Columbia University in New York City for his dental education and received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. He later completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) training at Eastman Institute for Oral Health in New York and received his Master of Dental Science. Afterwards, Dr. Kang continued his dental training in endodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, from which he received a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) upon completion of his training. Dr. Kang was the winner of the Stanley L. Handelman Fellowship Award at Eastman Institute for Oral Health and the Alvin Krakow Harvard/Forsyth Endowed Endodontic Research Fund Award.
After practicing many years on the East coast, Dr. Kang joined Advanced Endodontic Therapy and moved to Omaha. He has been impressed by how nice and warm everyone is here in Nebraska and absolutely loves life in the Midwest.
Dr. Marco V. Galvez emigrated from El Salvador and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Chemistry at Weber State University, Utah in 1987. He received his DDS degree from Creighton University, Omaha in 1992. He established his practice In Idaho as a general dentist from 1992 to 2008, then joined the United States Air Force as a general dentist from 2008-2014. As an active Air Force member, he graduated in 2016 from Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics at Louisiana State University with a Master of Science in Oral Biology and a certificate in Endodontics. His thesis and research presentation consisted of new irrigation system protocols to eliminate endodontic fungal infections, and his findings were presented at the American Association of Endodontics annual meeting in San Francisco in 2016. As an Air Force officer, he graduated from Air Command and Sta studies in 2012 and from Air War College in 2014 obtaining the rank of Colonel in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Galvez has been assigned to Offutt Air Force Base where he is a part of the dental faculty, teaching new Air Force dentists the most current concepts and techniques in endodontics. He is an active member of the America Association of Endodontists and the American Board of Endodontists. He is currently credentialed for VA Health Services.
His passion for endodontics started early in his general practice. He believed in saving teeth by incorporating new technologies and materials from the field of Endodontics, especially by taking many continuing education courses specific to the field. With many years of private practice experience, Dr. Galvez understands the dental needs of his patients as well as those of his referring providers. His love for the field of endodontics increases as he continues to teach dental residents and practices in the Omaha community. He is married and is a father of 5 boys. He enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys recreational activities and sports. He enjoys serving in his church and community.
