Dr. Hansens research findings have been published in the Journal of Dental Research and the Journal of Endodontics. He has made presentations at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting and the International Association for Dental Research.
Dr. Wuerch is the recipient of the Bernier Dental Research Award, Loma Linda University Presidents Award, Fixed Prosthodontics Department Award and the F. Edward Herbert Army Dental Scholarship, among others.
Dr. Wuerchs research findings have been published in the Journal of Endodontics. Dr. Wuerch has made presentations at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting; United States Armys Endodontic Short Course at Fort Gordon, Georgia; and West German Dental Society in Landstuhl, Germany
I am greatly satisfied to resolve the concerns of my patients. When they feel better, I feel better, and in endodontics, where pain is the most common symptom, I have found great joy in alleviating the source of that pain.
Dr. Hawkins is a recipient of the Robert Dean Feder Award for his contributions in community dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Hawkins, in conjunction with Dr. Mahmoud Torabinejad, has been awarded the Buelle Chair research grant for the testing of root end filling materials in endodontic surgery.
Dr. Hawkins has presented at the American Association of Endodontics Annual Conference on the topic of endodontic surgery. He has also presented at the Buelle Symposium. His authored works regarding the management and selection of tissue flaps in endodontic surgery have been published internationally in Quintessence Endo. Dr. Hawkins has conducted original research in dental traumatology and conducts on-going research on root end filling materials.

Recently, I required an emergency root canal and I cannot believe I am saying this, but it was an amazing experience. I went back for the follow-up filling and the excellence in patient care was once again, amazing! Had urgent need to get in and Dr Hawkins saw me and told me what needed to be done and had me come back same day to get my painful tooth taken care of. It was so nice to have an emergency and have it taken care of without waiting days. Bekah his assistant and the Doctor were telling jokes and making it FUN. She gave me a neck pillow and headset to listen to music while they work. I could still hear them telling jokes. This was a great experience and it was the quickest root canal I ever had done. My dentist referred me there and I am so glad he did.

My Dentist had referred me to Advanced Endodontic Care after I was on an appointment the day before for a cleaning. I had been experiencing some discomfort/pain in my jaw. My dentist thought I may need a root canal and recommended I see AEC for a consultation. I needed this done asap because of an upcoming trip to Hawaii real soon! They got me in right away (the next morning) I was greeted by a very friendly and professional staff and got in right away for x rays and a consultation. It didn't take long to realize I did in fact need a root canal and because of my upcoming trip asap! The staff was able to work things out to get me in just a few hours later. What a life saver! The strange thing is, no pain and no real numbness of my face at all. Actually, I was very happy and very surprised. Believe me, a root canal isn't something I look forward to, but I am sure glad I was referred to AEC! The whole staff and DMD Stephen Hansen were WONDERFUL! Thank you all very much! I am off to Maui with a big smile.

Dr. Hawking was amazing and all of the support staff were professional and kind. I was in from out of town for a root canal evaluation/surgery. They were running behind schedule and because my appointment ended up being an hour late, they gave me a Starbucks gift card. The waiting room was really comfortable/nice (with a fridge full of complimentary water bottles) and the ladies running the front desk were so kind and willing to explain anything that needed explaining. When I was finally taken in for the evaluation, they took all the x-rays they needed to best evaluate what needed to be done and didn't charge me extra for the full mouth x-ray. When Dr. Hawking finally came in to explain things, not only was he kind and patient, he was also able and willing to take the time to answer all my questions without talking down to me. Amanda and Dr. Hawking made the surgery not only bearable, but fun! I laughed my way through my root canal as he told dad jokes and was put at ease by their kind and lighthearted demeanor -which is saying something because I'm always very nervous at the dentist's office. All in all I wish this could be my regular dentist office! Thank you all for your awesome service today, it really made something that is usually uncomfortable or painful into a good day.

This office was able to see me the same day as my referral. Their office is very streamlined, comfortable, and every person I talked to was so warm and genuine. Pedro was my assistant and he is THE most charismatic wonderful dental assistant I've ever had. 10/10 service from Britney, Pedro, Dr. Hawkins, and the rest of the staff. If I ever unfortunately need endodontic care in the future, I will definitely trust them with my teeth!

The great team at advanced Endocare was very professional and is absolutely recommended. I have a crazy phobia and they were very comforting and got me in on the very same day which was such a blessing.. This place provided the BEST dental experience I have had! It's absolutely beautiful, the staff, the dentists are all so kind, informative and caring. I still have to lodge a miniscule complaint even though the experience outweighs it, if you use Google Maps, it will take to a residential area, not where you can access the parking lot. Then after you go back out onto Columbia Park trail, you see a huge building that says advanced endodontics, there aren't any signs or anything really visible well saying that you need to drive around to the back of the building to access the second floor which is where they are. It was just mildly frustrating, just wanted to warn people. Because as I said before the experience that weighed any complaints at all. I highly recommend

I have a major dental phobia. Dr Hawkins, Kayla, and Kristin took care of me! They made sure I was comfortable before they did anything. They were attentive and caring. This was the smoothest, most pain free dental experience of my life. They are amazing! Thank you to them for such good care!

Dr. Wuerch and Pedro at Advanced Endodontic Care did a great job finishing up my root canal when complications arose. No pain at all, and the beautiful view from the office and headphones they offered to cover up drill noise almost made it feel like a spa day!

I was very impressed with the kindness of the staff. They worked me in for a review of a questionable tooth. The results of the review created a 3 option course of action. Pleasantly surprised they were able to repair my tooth which needed a retreat due to a hidden canal that was not treated over 5 years ago in California. Dr. Hawkins was very confident in his discovery and recovery method of treatment. Within a short period of time, I was called back to repair the tooth... the same day and time!!! Amazing customer service and with my limited time, they were accommodating. I recommend that if your unsure about a diagnosis for the care of your teeth, visit this facility and it's staff.

Dr. Hansen and his team succeeded in accomplishing their mission of "providing our patients with an incredible dental experience." It was incredible because there was no fear, no pain, no confusion, and no anxiety! From start to finish Dr. Hansen and his staff Adriel, Jen and Becka were exceptional - and so good-natured too! I had a small abscess in my mouth. They easily diagnosed the problem and clearly explained several treatment options. They recommended a procedure (new to me) called an apicoectomy - which saved my tooth! They made this new dental adventure relaxing, easy, painless and even enjoyable! Being in the care of an expert like Dr. Hansen and his team made working on my mouth enjoyable! One last note, if you have any indication of infection in your mouth, teeth or even sinuses - have an expert like Dr. Hansen check it out - he could save your tooth - like he did mine!
