Dr. Zohn in Freehold performed a root canal on me yesterday. I was amazed at how painless it was, I didn't even feel the novocaine shot! Still painless a day later. Thanks Dr. Zohn!

I needed an emergency root canal and I was given an appointment the next day. I was told I would have to wait once I got there. It was definitely worth the wait! Everyone was so pleasant and accommodating. A worrisome and scary situation made good by everyone associated with this practice!!

I'm a new patient. And had my first appointment today. Not only was I surprised how fast they were able to get me in, but I have never been in and out of an office so fast before. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The office is very neat and clean. I was in and out within 15 minutes for a consult and did not wait more then 5 minutes in the waiting area. Will be recommending to all my friends and family who are looking for a great specialist! Thank you AEA!

I had horrible tooth pains for months. Dr. Ira Zohn took care of me and was able to do a root canal the same day. He was absolutely wonderful and his assistant Melanie was fantastic. I walked out with tears of joy and relief. I'd recommend them both to anyone

This review is only meant for the front desk staff and not the doctors as I did not get a chance to have experience with them. Receptionist staff experience was unpleasant and resulted in major inconvenience. I Scheduled an emergency appointment for 1pm the day of (which seemed nice). Waited for an hour, and then approached front desk staff about the reason for such lengthy wait. The staff replied(unpleasantly) that I was told ahead of time that I would have to wait to be seen unknown amount of time, however that was not the case, it's impossible for me to miss such a vital piece of information. She was not even able to verify how much longer I would have to wait, although I feel she could have easily looked into to it and give me some sort of estimated time. Since I didn't preplan for such a time consuming appointment I had to leave the office. I interacted with a blond woman on Thursday 7/21/22. There are other things I did not appreciate in my interaction with her but it's less relevant. Unfortunately I will not consider returning. Hope this review improves customer service at this practice and others don't have to experience what I had to. In regards to the reply by the owner, I wish to point out that my concerns are with the customer service, communication and an attitude with how this matter was handled by front desk staff and not doctors being busy and not being able to see me. If you notice majority of poor reviews at you location are in regards to front desk.

I needed to get a root canal and was scheduled with Dr. Pellicano. I have extreme dental anxiety and getting a root canal seemed like the end of the world. Dr. Pellicano and the hygienist were SO patient with me. They kept checking in with me to make sure that I was comfortable. They were so kind and ultimately the procedure was totally fine - but that was thanks to how gentle they were. The office staff let me wait outside till the dentist was ready (which helped ease my nerves) AND once I went inside kept updating my family with how I was holding up. I had the best experience here and would highly recommend. I am very thankful that this is the endodontic team that I chose.

Staff was very friendly and the office was clean. Dr. Pellicano and his assistant Christa were excellent! I was extremely nervous needing a retreatment, Dr. Pellicano made me feel at ease during the entire process and was very thorough! Christa made me feel at home moments before the procedure as well as we shared some laughs! Highly recommend!

I cannot put into words how impressed I was with this office and in particular Chris pellicano! Got a root canal done quickly in a very relaxed and comforting manner, I felt very at ease which is not common for dental procedures let alone root canals! 5 star experience from start to finish!

Clean professional caring practice. Had 2 painless root canals performed here. If you are putting something off out of fear don't let it stop you. My procedures were done with no pain just slight pinch from the novacane. Very satisfied

From the online patient portal to access and complete new patient documents to my interaction with the office and tech staff, mine was a 5 star experience. Everyone was cordial and caring. 100% comfortable with my entire first experience with this Practice. Dr Chris Pellicano took his time and went above and beyond working to extract a broken post in a very difficult situation and carefully explained the procedure from start to finish. Sueanne was especially helpful right from my initial call and helped get me scheduled that same day.

I have to say I was extremely impressed with Dr. Antonett Thai & her assistant Lauren! Lauren & I enjoyed some laughs together before Dr. Thai came in which really put me at ease. I went to the office for a scan & ended up having a root canal that very same day. It was so smooth & Dr. Thai was so caring, considerate, & gentle. The 2 of them worked together so efficiently & proficiently I was very impressed! And it was totally painless! Even the next day I didn't need Tylenol! I can't recommend Dr. Thai highly enough & if I ever need any other work done I'll definitely go back to her!

I had the most wonderful experience today at this highly professional office.I was an office manager for 30 years in an Oral Surgery office, so when I started to experience pain & discomfort I called Sue at the front desk & she made sure to accommodate me!(holiday weekend comming up so I was concerned that I would have continued pain & swelling.) Sue is such an asset to the office as she reassured me the Root Canal would be easy as the Dr. was compassionate & excellent! Well,she was spot on!! Dr.Yelena Ostrometskaya was wonderful! No discomfort throughout the procedure & her professionalism was beyond reproach..Her assistant, Melanie was personable & so sweet & kind.I will recommend anyone who needs Endodontic Treatment to this practice. Thank you Doctor, Sue & Melanie!

Dr. Zohn is a Master at his craft! He loves what he does, he's understanding, patient, caring, informative, and very professional. He and his team expertly worked on my surgery in an amazing conduct. I won't be shy to say here, that I get nervous going through dental work. And as my first time going through what I was, they really took care of me. Highly recommended! A sincere thank you for the high degree of care you provided me today. Outstanding!

My experience was an emergency appointment referred by Dr. Brodsky (see separate excellent review). His office called and they said that if I could be patient, they could shoehorn me in. The staff in Freehold was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Thai was polite, caring about my pain, but straightforward and no nonsense. She was quick and sure - I've had several root canals, and she was by far the most efficient. No idle chitchat, no wasted moves. Best experience I could have wished for. Highly recommend.

I had been dealing with a sensitive tooth for a few months. Saw 2 dentists, the first said it was nothing and it was my over brushing causing sensitivity, the second said chipped filling-not urgent. However, after these visits my mouth was telling me otherwise which brings me to today, which just happened to be a very important day for me. I was scheduled to fly out of town in the evening for a very important business meeting but my tooth wasn't having it! I called several doctors in the area begging them to see me today and no one would help. I was in terrible pain and knew I needed a root canal. I called Advanced Endodontic Associates in Freehold. The receptionist Sue listened to my emergency situation and got me in within the hour and had the utmost professionalism. She also sympathetic to my situation and had compassion which I did not find anywhere else. Most people do not plan dental emergencies, so I was so grateful that the practice wanted to help me! Upon my arrival I was greeted, reassured and I immediately knew this was the place for me. I am also extremely nervous about any dental work, and have had multiple bad experiences. I am type A and hate the loss of control when I am sitting in a dental chair! Gina the dental assistant brought me quickly, she calmed me down and was down to earth about everything. I again knew I was in the very best of hands. When Dr. Zohn came in, he was aware of my unique situation and that I needed to catch a flight in just a few short hours. He said, don't worry we are going to take care of you! Nowadays you don't hear that too often! He was so relaxed and gentle while assessing my very very sensitive tooth. I was already 99% sure it was root canal central for me and yes he confirmed this. At this point I figured he would say we can schedule you, but no, he didn't even hesitate. He knew I was in a lot of pain and regardless of my situation, he was the type of person who would have helped meow anyone right away anyway. He numbed me up and I didn't even feel the needle. He was so skilled at distracting me in a good way and keeping calm. I know everyone always dreads the root canal procedure but within 20 minutes and ZERO pain, he had finished. I was in tears of joy! Not only was Gina an amazing assistant but Dr. Zohn was just pure perfection in what anyone would want in a endodontist. I don't even feel like I had any work done at all. He had wonderful bedside manner, was pleasant, easy to talk to and explained everything to me. And fast!!!! Oh and the cost was extremely reasonable. I am so grateful to Dr. Zohn and his amazing team for saving the day for me! I was able to catch my flight and I am happy to say that I am pain free once again and I did not need to loose my tooth. I know I personally place a lot of weight on reviews when selecting a practice for any procedure so I wanted to be sure I shared this wonderful experience so others like me will know there is no need to worry if you go to see Dr. Zohn! It gives me great pleasure to recommend Advanced Endodontic Associates. I promise you will not be disappointed! If you need a root canal do not go anywhere else but Advanced Endodontic Associates!!! While I hope I do not need to see them often, I again cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice and my experience. You are in the very best hands! Thank you Dr. Zohn for your kindness, the world needs more people like you!
