Dr. Rouhani completed her undergraduate studies at University of Houston, and earned her doctor of dental surgery from the Texas A&M Baylor College of dentistry. Dr. Rouhani is highly skilled in restorative, cosmetic, prosthetic, Invisalign, implants and laser dentistry. Dr. Rouhani is passionate about dentistry; she participates in numerous continuing education courses each year in order to offer the most modern dental treatments for her patients. She is a member of Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
In our office, there is one member of our team who is always a gentle breeze, the calm in the storm, a lighthouse on a dark night. Anna John is our dearly cherished, behind-the-scenes Practice Manager. Faithful, trustworthy, she consistently works hard with bookkeeping, marketing, and all of the administrative work involved in managing a growing practice.
Anna and Dr. John have spent years serving the Sugarland/Stafford community and are in leadership in their place of worship, the International Bible Church of Stafford. When she is not working hard in our practice, she loves taking care of their two children, Nathan (future movie producer) and Amy (Hook EmHorns).
Allison is our lead dental assistant. She has been assisting for 17 years and has been with us for 4 years. She specializes in implant procedures, Invisalign, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Allison has the ability to calm even the most nervous patient. She was born and raised in Houston. She is married with one son in high school. Allison enjoys spending time with her 3 dogs and family when shes not at work.
Kenia has been the welcoming face you see when you enter our office for over 4 years. Her smile greets you and is instantly inviting. She is a jack of all trades and helps wherever needed in the office. Kenia has called the Houston area home since relocating from Chicago 8 years ago. She lives in Houston with her fiance. She loves traveling and spending time with her family.
Cynthia is our Treatment Coordinator, she is one rare gal. She has been with our office for 3 years; she has been practicing since 1993. She started out as a Dental Assistant and transitioned to the administrative team. She is experienced with advanced dental terminology, processing claims, and financial agreements. She always greets our patients with a smile and makes them feel like they are the star of the practice. She is passionate about our patients care and can make a way for them to start their treatment. She is a mother of six beautiful children and has one grandbaby. She enjoys serving in her church diligently. She loves to sing, sew, and to do projects with her Cricut.
Irais is the hygiene coordinator in the office. She was born in Mexico City and raised in the Houston area since the age of 4. She speaks English and spanish. She has over 25 years of experience in the dental field and loves to help our patients achieve their best smile. Irais loves road trips, capturing memories with her family, keeping up with her three Ts (two teenagers and a toddler), and cheering on Houston sports teams.

I recently had a horrible experience at Advance Dentistry, Sugar Land where staff seems trained on using tactics to impose high bill on you. I would like to give ZERO star to Advance Dentistry for the trick they did to impose unsolicited services and bill. I had a "Cleaning only" appointment in the first week of May. After the cleaning job is done, an unknown doctor came and started discussing my dental health. She kept occupying me by taking unsolicited pictures of my mouth. She was not an orthodontist, however she wanted to give me an orthodontist treatment. They literally pushed me to get x-rays done without me having any complaints or issues. I resisted and could hardly manage and avoided that x-ray activity. I clearly told them that I had not planned this visit for anything more than a cleaning, and I was running out of time to reach to my work. They scheduled for me a re-visit. When I cancelled that second appointment, they realized that they have lost the business. Within few days, they sent me a huge bill for all the unsolicited services that they practiced. The bill comes in the name of Dr. John Varghese whereas he actually did not see me for a minute. The bill even did not mention who was the provider who did the evaluation. They literally imposed the services on me and then a bill. When I called their clinic to discuss my concerns about this bill, their staff member did not allow me to speak and said, it is required by state law that we do your dental examination even though you do not want. She further said, like you take your car to mechanic, they advice you on what all is needed for safety of your vehicle. This explains the level of this dental practice where they see the patient as a vehicle for business. Who in the world does unsolicited assessment and then sends a bill for assessment?! She was very augmentative on the phone which itself explained that they are not doing right practice, hence they need to be argue with the car examples with a patient who does not give them the targeted business.

The Hygienist was very thorough and did a great job. All my teeth are very clean like sparkling gem. Mmmmm. She was very polite and cheerful. I was not scolded for not keeping my teeth clean. She said, that's why we are here to make it look good--what an attitude. I will come again to visit her any time--free of charge. I won't charge you. Keep her and I recommend a raise!

I finally found a dentist place I like. From making my appointment over the phone, arriving/leaving all the staff and Dr. John was awesome. Very detail and had some laughs too! Clean environment ,everyone I saw followed the Covid-19 protocols. I felt safe and just wished I knew about Advanced Dentistry sooner....
