Dr. Fong and his team are so nice and we love getting our teeth cleaned here! Our entire family receives our dental care from Dr. Fong and his team. Shima is our personal dental hygenist and she is so positive and has really helped to motivate all of us to improve our dental regimin. The practice has moved to an Atherton location into a state of the art facility on El Camino, so it's pretty centrally located. I highly recommend Dr. Fong and Advanced Dentistry!

Recently had a dental appointment here. Their new place is beautiful but better yet Brian Fong & his staff are the best! Very professional, yet friendly. They make you feel comfortable and that they do care about you. I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr. Fong and his team are amazing! They take a holistic approach to oral health and are not just focused on those white things in our mouths. Jennifer has been my hygienist for the past couple years and she's knowledgeable, gentle, and keeps it real without being judgmental. I'm a dentist myself and a fussy patient, so if I'm happy at this practice, maybe you will be too!

Dr Fong is the best. He has been our dentist (wife and I) for several years (at least 15) had to get braces and he coordinated braces, oral surgery and some cosmetic work (implant) and made the process seamless. His staff is great too and if there are cancellations try and usually do if time permits gets you in ASAP. Dr.Fong replaced a dentist of 25+ years and I wish we would have gone to him sooner. He not only cares for your oral hygiene but cares for you. And he is a "foodie"

Dr. Fong and his staff are knowledge, professional, efficient, and comprehensive. They take good care of my teeth. They provide great recommendations. I trust them! My husband and I have been under Dr. Fong's care since 2012. I gave 5 stars for both patient experience and patient satisfaction. The clinic is very clean. Everything is cleaned and disinfected properly between patient care. (PS: I am a certified infection control practitioner, so I am able to tell). I feel very comfortable to receive care in Dr. Fong's clinic. My loved one is Dr. Fong's patient as well. We are very lucky to have Dr. Fong's team in our care.

Dr Fong was able to see me quickly to address an issue I was having with a tooth and gum. I was very comfortable throughout the examination and repair. Very good dentist!

Dr. Fong, who has been my family dentist for many years, is an expert at what he does. He is so skillful that the experience is surprisingly and mercifully pain free. Great new office with very modern equipment too. In a word; EXCELLENT!

I have some mixed feelings about this place, though mostly my experience was good. I only had several cleanings and one filling here, so nothing very advanced. Pros: - It was the first dentist's office I've been to where they pay attention and take measurements of gum inflammation. Although this process can take a little more time (maybe 5 minutes), the extra attention feels more thorough. The office definitely feels professional, though I have no way to really confirm that. Cons: - The one filling Dr. Fong had filled for me, he hit my nerve head-on with the local anesthesia and I had numbness and tingling in a portion of my tongue for like 5 months, which was fairly distressing at the time. I have heard this can be difficult to control/prevent, but it was still unpleasant. Also, when he first hit it, I definitely reacted, but he didn't change what he was doing (including moving the needle) so I feel like he could have at least done that. - I had a few small unpleasant interactions here which could come off as a bit condescending or impersonal sometimes. It got pretty irritating that my hygienist suggested teeth whitening every time I visited. They also recommended orthodontics every other time I visited, and recommended Dr. Yoon to me (I was unhappy with Dr. Yoon's treatment). On the other hand, I feel like they were kind of unhelpful of my desire to learn how to better take care of my teeth and prevent gum recession.

Shima is EXCELLENT! So very thorough & so very aware of any sensitive areas in the mouth so that she can plan and communicate accordingly. I have been a patient of Dr Fong's since 2006 and he too is FANTASTIC! Now they're at a BRAND new building in Atherton where all of Dr Fong's High Quality, State of the Art, Tech Savvy equipment fits right in.... LOVE IT!
