As prosthodontists, Drs. Halmos and Manning specialize in the restoration and replacement of teeth and serve as the 'architects' of the dental treatment plan developed specifically for each patient. In addition to patient care, Drs. Halmos and Manning believe in staying up-to-date on the leading advancements in the dental field, which allows them to provide the highest quality care to their patients. They also are strong advocates for continuing education for themselves and their colleagues. As such, they are members of multiple study clubs in the Portland area and lead two separate Spear Study Clubs.
Dr. Halmos completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of California San Francisco. Prior to this 3-year residency, he attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he received his DMD degree with honors.
Dr. Halmos is proud to follow in the footsteps of his father, who came to this country as a dentist from Romania in 1975. His mother worked as the office manager in their family practice for 27 years until their joint retirement in 2006. Dr. Halmos has made it his lifelong commitment to carry on the same level of care, compassion, and sincerity to his patients that his parents demonstrated to their patients for nearly three decades.

Dr. Manning graduated with honors from East Carolina University with bachelors degrees in both biology and chemistry. She went on to enroll in the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Redmond completed her undergraduate education Cum Laude from Wake Forest University. She then attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where she earned her Master of Public Health alongside a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
As the chief resident during her prosthodontics training, Dr. Redmond received two merit-based scholarships from the North Carolina Dental Foundation. She also holds awards from the American College of Prosthodontics and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Redmond has completed research in digital technologies available in dentistry, learning these various techniques during residency training. She is well-versed in both traditional concepts and cutting-edge technology to advance the art and science of restorative dentistry.
Dr. Redmond is committed to providing high-quality care and being an advocate for her patients and her profession. She enjoys developing relationships with her patients and helping them understand exactly whats going on with their oral health.
Outside of the office, you might find Dr. Redmond hiking with her husband, young daughter, and their two rescue dogs. The whole family loves exploring beautiful Oregon and being part of the Portland community.

'I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Christine Redmond for some maintenance work for a crown on an old implant that had become loose. It was my first visit to Advanced Dentistry. I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism I encountered. Dr. Redmond explained to me in detail the possible causes of my problem, the actions to be taken to correct the problem, and their potential consequences. She gave me a thorough oral exam before fixing the problem with the crown on the old implant. I had an issue with an implant that caused Dr. Redmond to say, "Hmmm, this is interesting." She is skilled and efficient and addressed/resolved the problem with both great professional expertise and kindness, along with some humor. My experience with Dr. Redmond and all the staff at Advanced Dentistry was 5 star.

I am terrified of the dentist...so since I chipped my tooth, I was dreading all the visits that I needed to have. However, the staff at Advanced Dentistry made me feel so comfortable that I actually enjoyed going there. Dr. Lauren B. Manning and her assistant took good care of me and was sure that I was calm and comfortable throughout every visit I had. Their reassurance and patience made me very happy. In the end, I now have a tooth that looks good as new! My family and friends have a hard time telling the difference between my two front teeth and I am so grateful that I got recommended to come here! I will always recommend this dentistry to others and make sure they have Dr. Manning (although I am sure all the doctors are great). Thank you advanced dentistry, the staff, and Dr. Manning for putting a smile on my face and making me feel safe in an area I fear the most!

I began working with Advanced Dentistry in 2021 when the oral prosthetic I received a decade ago from a different provider started breaking down. Dr. Redmond has been the most attentive and compassionate dental provider I have worked with. She was detail oriented and put in extra time to be as helpful and flexible in working to complete my new prosthetic as fast as possible. I found the entire team to be warm and professional throughout my experience. I would recommend Advanced Dentistry to anyone seeking high quality care.

What a great place to have some serious dental work performed. I love the staff and Dr Manning. You could not ask for a more compassionate perfectionist. I will tell everyone I know to stop putting off a crown or veneer. Get in and get it done. You will be glad you did it.

This review written by Jeff Ament I had a tooth that cracked at one of the roots. My family dentist wanted me to get it pulled, I got an appointment with Dr Redmond to get a second opinion. She concurred with that diagnosis and explained the process of getting an implant. I followed through with an oral surgeon and got the tooth pulled, then the implant put in. Then after a healing period went back to Dr Redmond. She was great on every visit, she understood she was working on a person, not a car and explained what was going on, and the steps that would be taken at that visit and into the future. All along the way, Dr Redmond listened to my questions, concerns and we had engaging conversations about many topics besides just my tooth. Today I got my tooth installed, such a happy day! It's so nice to have a full mouth of teeth again. Dr Redmond and the team at Advanced Dentistry were so great! I hope I never need another implant, but if I do, I will give Dr Redmond and the Advanced Dentistry Team a call.

The Office was very clean and pleasant and everyone in the office was welcoming. The consultation with the dentist was very complete and thorough. And I did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Halmos was so great to work with. I mean, he really works with you. He and I discussed many factors involved in my implant crowns and he proved himself understanding and very knowledgeable on all fronts. I've been through 7 implants now with various providers, and I would go back to him without thinking twice.

As I was writing this review, I kept thinking of what words most accurately describe my experience with Dr. Manning. Heaven-sent, unparalleled, expertly skilled - even these seem subpar when it comes to the detailed and intensive work and care Dr. Manning has done with my case. I came to her with a host of complications and needed a new lower denture apparatus - a process that, due to COVID took about two years. From the get-go, she was very thorough with the treatment plan and making sure I understood it would be a long haul process. Multiple times throughout the process, Dr. Manning called me personally to make sure I knew where things stood and that I was doing well. On top of all that - Dr. Manning also is perhaps the most kind and motivating dental provider I've interacted with. Her tips for maintaining my dental hygiene have completely changed my life and my anxious thoughts around my oral health. Through her encouragement, I have wised up and learned to appreciate and care for the teeth I do have, because lamenting about my current situation was not helping. If you have the option of going to see Dr. Manning, I don't know why you would choose anyone else, frankly! When it comes to your teeth you want the best, and Dr. Manning really and truly is just that. Not only is she a brilliant medical provider - she is also an architect and artist of the mouth! Oh! And another thing to mention - the front office and/or management/admin staff were equally as incredible. I had some major, unintended albeit self-inflicted insurance changes halfway through, and lemme tell you, Sydney went way above and beyond the call of duty to listen and answer every question I had, even if they were repeated. She made every effort to make sure that I felt comfortable and knowledgeable about the cost of treatment.

Dr. Manning and her team are beyond amazing. I wanted to get a crown (from a different dentist years ago) redone for cosmetic purposes, but upon inspection Dr. Manning noticed I had a crack on the back of a different crown, so she recommended to redo that one, too. I spent a lot of time searching for the best of the best before coming in since I have had a bad experience in the past. It was super clear to me that she really cares for her patients on a deep level and is passionate about the work she does. The gals at the front were also amazing and worked hard with scheduling. You should be prepared to wait much longer than other offices for the work to be done and to be seen to get the work started because they are super busy. But the wait is worth it!

The team at Advanced Dentistry did a great job! I sought out Dr Manning to provide a couple of restorations that are not commonly done by most general dentists. She, along with the dental lab and fantastic office staff, pulled it all off gracefully. I greatly appreciated her additional experience and expertise.
