Stephen D. Glass, DDS,is a graduate of Texas A&M University and the University of Texas Dental Branch. Since obtaining his dental degree, he has completed the hundreds of hours of additional training and experience and passed the rigorous examination required to achieve Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Currently, he is enrolled in the AGDs masters program track. Dr. Glass is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, Greater Houston Dental Society, American Orthodontic Society, and International Dental Implant Association. A Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, he is a licensed user of the Periolase laser and patented Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure for gum disease treatment. He has trained at the prestigious Pankey Institute and the SPEAR Educational Institute and serves as an Editorial Advisory Board member forDentaltown Magazineas well as on the Continuing Education Advisory Board for Dentaltown. He has completed certifications I and II for Invisalign and has been an Invisalign Premier Provider. In 2018 he completed a Dental Implant Continuum and also received advanced CEREC training at the Scottsdale Center.
Dr. Glass is an active participant in the community as a sponsor for many local events and charities as well as a coach for his sons flag football team. He and his wife have four beautiful children, and in his spare time, Dr. Glass enjoys traveling, skiing, fishing, boating, sports, and events with his kids.
Joel C. Edgar, DDS,is a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry. Dr. Edgar is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, Greater Houston Dental Society, and International Dental Implant Association. He also completed a Dental Implant Continuum and received advanced CEREC trainingat the Scottsdale Center in 2018.
Dr. Edgar and his wife have a new baby girl and have settled into the Spring area. He continues his tradition of being an active and involved member of the community. In the past, Dr. Edgar has served as Assistant Youth Leader and played bass guitar for his local church. He also volunteered his time as a Young Life leader and coached a high school Ultimate Frisbee team. His hobbies include playing ultimate frisbee on the weekends, golf, and basketball. He also enjoys hunting with his dad and brother and is an avid reader.
We strive for the highest level of service, so we've selected a team made up of people who are unusually warm and friendly as well as skilled. This combination isn't always easy to find. We believe we're fortunate to have built such a quality team. You'll notice the difference on your first visit!
Heather, Practice AdministratorHeather joined our practice in 2008. She and her husband John have a son born in 2015. She is from Kentucky (Go CATS!) and loves going home to visit, spending time with her family, and shopping.
Madalyn, Registered Dental Hygienist Madalyn graduated from the University of Texas and has been with us since 2013. She lives in the Cypress area with her beautiful daughter. They love being outdoors, shopping, and visiting with family.

During COVID Dr Glass immediately up charged $35 per visit for COVID stuff, when I asked to see him regarding the charges he discharged myself and wife( who was not physically there). We were patients that came from Dr. Miller. He threw us to the curb rather than discuss additional fees. I never had an opportunity to discuss the issue. I'd say he had an issue and acted selfishly as to not face criticism as we were out of work largely because of COVID. Very sad when we were all one community helping each other.

If I could give Advanced Dentistry of Spring 10 stars, I would. I went to them to get veneers put on my teeth - I had chipped a front tooth and did not like the way it looked. They all made me feel at ease throughout the procedure. Dr. Edgar explained what to expect during each step of the procedure. Everyone was so friendly, from the front desk to the dentist. I am thrilled with my new smile and would recommend Advanced Dentistry to anyone. Whether you are looking for a new dentist, or are wanting to improve your smile, this is the place to go!

Dr. Stephen Glass, and his assistant, Lauren, are the perfect duo for a nervous patient. In fact, all the staff make you feel comfortable and relaxed as soon as you arrive. I had four crowns fitted (and a surprise root canal) while under sedation and didn't feel a thing. Lauren called me the next day to be sure I was okay. I highly recommend Advanced Dentistry of Spring and feel blessed that I found them.

What an all around wonderful experience I had at Advanced Dentistry of Spring! I needed to find a new dentist which is never an easy task. The Doctors and staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. When you walk in, the facility makes you feel like home (clean, smells great and comfortable). Everyone that worked with me explained every step on the process they were going to perform. My comfort was their top priority. It was definitely the best dental experience I've ever had. They now have a patient for life. Plus, I got a gift bag when I left!

I called about 10 am with a broken tooth. Dr Edgar and Judy made time for me at 130, and by 4 I had a pain free, perfect fitting new crown. They really care and they do great work!

First off: UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE!!! I was looking for a dentist office that would provide complete in-house procedures regarding implants and veneers, so when researching of such, I came across this place. Made an appointment for a consultation today and when arrived, I was taken in for x-rays and discussed my situation and reason for the visit along with the need for the turn-key, total price. Once the x-rays were complete I was informed that the oral surgeon was no longer in-house and that the best that they could do regarding total price would only be an estimate and that I would have to make an appointment with the surgeon for his exact cost. Their website explicitly states everything is done house (I'm unable to copy and paste that statement), had I known this wasn't the case, I would not have called them to begin with. This was a total waste of my time and fuel not to mention the aggravation!!! This may be a great dentist office, I'll never know BUT certainly didn't appreciate the "bait and switch".

Dr Edgar is the best. He's got such a great personality. He takes the time to talk to you and explain everything. The entire staff there is great. If you have to go to the dentist (which I really don't like doing unless absolutely necessary) Advanced Dentistry is where you want to go. They will definitely make you feel at ease.

Advanced Dentistry of Spring have been our dentists since we moved to Houston 16 years ago. We have never had a poor experience here. The hygienists, front desk, and dentists are the best. Friendly and professional- we look forward to our visits and catching up with the staff on our visits. They set the bar for amazing service!
