Dr. Ohmes practice emphasis is on neuromuscular, cosmetic & restorative dentistry and cranio-facial development including sleep apnea correction. Dr. Ohmes received his D.D.S. degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He has also received his certification through the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the UMKC School of Dentistry. Dr. Ohmes is an international lecturer on high-tech dental equipment and restorative dentistry and has had several articles published on the latest in laser techniques and procedures. He is currently a fellowship award recipient of both the Academy of General Dentistry and Las Vegas Institute, also a certified member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and is a diplomat of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy.
Dr. Cusumanos mission as a dental practitioner is to provide comprehensive, forthright, and empathetic care of the highest caliber to all the patient that walk through the door. He believes in a conservative approach to all procedures, keeping the best interests of each patient in mind. As the dental industry continues to change, he vows to make a conscientious effort to consistently improve his knowledge and skillset through continuing education opportunities.
Dr. Cusumano is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. Dr. Cusumano is also an active member in the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Facial Esthetics. Finally, Dr. Cusumano holds an active membership in the Arch Study Club, the St. Louis Chapter of the Seattle Study Club. This study club focuses on bringing general dentists and the various dental specialties together monthly to sharpen their necessary interdisciplinary skills and get exposed to the newest, cutting-edge dental technology.

Gas is always used to clean my teeth and I got a sticker shock with it going up from $48.00 to $100.00. I expected to get the complete relaxation as before but there was issues with getting the gas to a level that I felt comfortable and had to ask the tech to stop as I was not there yet. She stated that she hoped she had time to polish after the cleaning because of the time it was taking to get me under the effects. However once she got the doctor in (who found the proper level for me) the rest of the visit went well.

My family and I have been patients for several years and have had very good experiences. When my mom, who is in advanced stages of dementia, needed dental care Dr. Cusumano was able to see her right away. I was completely impressed with the extreme care he took with her. He was able to treat her in the wheelchair even though he had to stand stooped over for a long time. He was very gentle while extracting teeth, he made sure to cause as little discomfort as possible. It was almost as if he was treating his own mother. I cannot express how appreciative I am for Dr. Cusumano, his wonderful assistant, (I'm sorry I forgot your name), Jane at the front desk, just everyone. Thank you.

I had fast braces done through them. Doctor and staff are super friendly. My teeth aren't 100% perfect as I had wished but they are 100x better. Wish my teeth were better shapes to start with.Thanks for everything Sorry for previous comment lol

I've been coming to this practice for some time now, and cleanings are never a problem. But my last one showed I had 2 cavities that needed to be filled. Needless to say, due to past experience at a different dentist I was very nervous, and I explained that situation to Danielle and Dr. Coos. These 2 worked so well as a team, Checked on me multiple times throughout to ensure I was comfortable and still numb. I felt very safe and completely trusted this group to take care of my needs. The girls in the front office, although noticeably busy, we're working with smiles and made sure I had my instructions and everything I needed before leaving! I would highly recommend this dentistry group!

This was my first visit at Advanced Dentistry since Dr. Cuscumno moved to this location. Everyone was very friendly and professional, very thorough. I did not feel rushed and all questions were answered. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed meeting Dr. Cusamano this week. While getting in a dentist chair for some procedures (crowns) are sometimes a challenge, it was definitely NOT painful. I appreciated Dr. Cusamano's efficiency, kindness and attention to detail! We have been patients in this practice for quite some time and have no plans to change! Thank you Dr.'s Ohmes and Cusamano! Also love the staff both in the office and chairside. Met Nicole and loved speaking with her while waiting for the numbing to take effect! LOL...okay, so she did a lot of the intelligible talking!

Love the whole team !!!! Extremely great patient care, with 100% genuine concern! They greet you at the door with a smile, on time, professional, and attention to detail. I've had braces, cleanings, crowns etc. with very little out of pocket after accurate billing to my insurance. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends

I would recommend Advanced Dentistry to anyone looking for a new dentist. The experience are top notch from the time you are checked out, seen by the medical professionals, and checking out. They are very thorough with explaining any aftercare to any money that will come out of your pocket. Great practice!!!

Every time I go in to see Dr Ohmes, I know I get the highest care, most attention to detail, and honest assessment. Kristy & Drew are awesome at what they do! Joey is always so great to see and she always puts me at ease when I sit in the chair to have any work done. Just a great business all around and I'd recommend this dentist for everyone looking:)

The staff and the hygienist we're great. Good thorough cleaning. Dr. Ohmes was great too. Took the time to explain things and take a good look. I've heard good things about their fastbraces and will likely be going with them for my daughter in 6 months.

Dishonest dentist. He said I had Paradontal disease which turned out to be false. Not even 1 year after he did Paradontel treatments he said that I needed them again! Scam artist. Luckily there are honest dentists that have done thorough examinations of my teeth and say they are in excellent shape. Update: Several years have gone by and my teeth have been maintained by two great Dentists in the St. Charles area that both say I definitely do not have Paradontal disease. Be a wise consumer and always get a second opinion especially when seeing this dentist!

This is actually Jessica Reinhardt, using our joint account so it says Ryan (my husband) Dr. Ohmes has been my dentist for a long time now, back before he started "Advanced Dentistry" and I love him and his staff have been nothing but respectful and nice. I read another negative review and can't believe it would be about this office. The staff are patient with me when I need a break to relax my jaw. Kristy (or Christy?) works on the insurance information and she is so sweet. I have pretty bad (in my opinion!) TMJ and I am starting treatment for it now. I am excited to get it all over with and go back to being painfree and have a normal bite! Dr. Ohmes actually seems to want to HELP my jaw situation and not just prescribe muscle relaxers or quick fixes.

Dr. Ohmas deserves 5 stars, he is excellent and I'm PICKY! He's extremely knowledgeable, I've never had an issue with a filling. He's truly an artist when it comes to dental work. My only complaint is that he insists on replacing all metal fillings, he has his reasons but it can be costly.
