Dr. Rapp has practiced dentistry since 1996. He received his Bachelors degree fromPurchase Collegewith a major in psychology at which time his senior thesis was published. Dr. Rapp continued on to receive his DMD degree fromCase Western University School of Dental Medicinelocated in Cleveland, Ohio. While at Case, Dr. Rapp acted as a student delegate and alternate to the Ohio State Dental Association. After graduation, Dr. Rapp continued his dental education as part of a general residency program at New York Cornells St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. Dr. Rapp was then invited to join the staff at Beth Israel Hospital. As an attending doctor at the Continuum Health Care Partners/Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Rapp both established and headed the dental clinic at The Peter Krueger Center. In 2013 Dr. Rapp assumed his present location in Fairfield, Connecticut carrying on a practice that was originally established in 1948.
Dr. Rapp has been awarded a commendation by the Connecticut State Medical Examiner for his work with the State Medical Board. He has been recognized by his colleagues in New Haven as a Top Dentist in their annual survey. He has also been awarded and recognized as a Top Dentist in Fairfield and was admitted to the Leading Physicians of the World in 2016.
Dr. Rapp regularly attends conferences, enrolls in continuing education courses, and maintains affiliation with an array of professional organizations, including theAmerican Dental Association,Connecticut Dental Association,Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration as well as theAmerican Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
When Dr. Rapp is not practicing dentistry or investigating new methods of treatment and patient care, he enjoys an active lifestyle as well as contributing time to various charitable projects. He is on the Board of Directors of the Musical Theatre of Connecticut and is a past vestry member of St. Pauls on the Green, Norwalk; as well as Past President of the Alumni Association, Purchase College. He enjoys traveling and treasures time with family and friends. Dr. Rapp and his team will strive to make your treatment convenient and comfortable. Jonathan is a Fairfield resident and a graduate of Fairfield University where he earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology and Anthropology. He furthered his education at New York Medical College Masters Program with a major in Anatomy and Physiology. He began his career as a Dental Hygienist by attending the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport where he graduated at the top of his class.
Jonathans extensive experience and training has enabled him to develop expertise in evaluating your overall oral health. He performs necessary and very gentle oral hygiene procedures based on your individual needs. He effectively provides oral hygiene instructions clearly, concisely and conscientiously, so that you may enjoy an educational yet relaxed and peaceful visit.
Barbara is a Fairfield County native and enjoys working and supporting local businesses. Barbara has over 35 years of experience in the dental profession both in the clinical area and in the administrative area.
Barbara joined Advanced Dentistry of Fairfield County in early 2016. Barbara is an integral part of our dental team. Barbara brings a wealth of experience to her position as our Office Administrator. Barbara holds a wealth of knowledge with treatment plan coordination, insurance, benefits, and scheduling. She has an exceptional connection with our patients and is gifted at making sure our patients are comfortable and at ease.
In Barbaras off-time she enjoys traveling, gardening, cook, and most importantly, spending quality time with her two wonderful children and her her first grandson. We are very fortunate to have Barbara as part of our dental team!

Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.
