Dr. Atanase received her degree in dentistry from theUniversity of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, having earned her undergraduate degree at Penn as well. Subsequently, she completed a two-year general dentistry residency atBeth Israel Medical Centerin Manhattan. Since then, she has spent more than 20 years in private practice.
Dr. Atanase is committed to improving the quality of her patients treatments. She uses state-of-the-art technology and continues to attend seminars on various topics that improve the general and dental health of her patients. Aside from the aesthetic dentistry and functional dentistry advances, she has also obtained further training in the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ) and Sleep Apnea with oral appliances.
During her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, yoga, reading, and spending time with her family. She volunteers some of her free time with theJunior League of SummitandChatham Twigwhere she has had great satisfaction of participating in some terrific projects to help the communities of Chatham, Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights. She is also a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), AGD (Academy of General Dentistry, AADSM (American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine) and AACP (American Academy of Craniofacial Pain).
One of our caring dental hygienists, Dina is fun, outgoing and highly skilled in the management of periodontal treatments. She joined the practice in 2008 and, along with Abbie, helps coordinate our hygiene department. She is a married mother of 2 beautiful girls, enjoys exercising and spending time with her family. She always strives to put a smile on your face!
Joining our team during the COVID era, Gina is a welcome addition! She has been in the dental field for over 30 years. Coming to us with tons of experience and always eager to learn new advances in the dental field, she makes everyone smile and at ease. Outside of dentistry, Gina loves to spend time with her family and friends. She loves to travel and usually, you will find her lounging at the shore every chance she gets!
Dr. Atanase belongs toJunior League of Summit(JLS), an organization of women that promotes voluntarism, develops the potential of women, and improves communities. She loves to do projects that impact the community and the members alike.
While Dr. Atanase is passionate about all types of community involvement, she is especially passionate aboutFamily Promise, an organization that helps homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.
Sleep is essential to human health and longevity, but many people living in our area do not get the sleep they need for optimal health. The information Dr. Atanase provides during her talks helps people overcome some sleep problems and live longer.
Held in June, Relay for Life is the American Cancer Societys signature fundraiser. During this event, attendees celebrate cancer survivors, remember those who lost their fight, and pledge to continue fighting cancer.
An uplifting event, Relay for Life brings the entire community together. Dr. Atanase encourages everyone living in Chatham and elsewhere in the nation tofind a Relay for Life eventnear his or her home.
Community involvement helps us build caring relationships with other people who live here, strive for excellence within our community, and communicate our passion for our towns through our actions and our words.

My first appointment was wonderful. I couldn't be more pleased with my hygienist Dina, who made me feel welcomed, comfortable and informed. I would recommend this practice. I am so glad I found it from a recommendation on Facebook. Update: 11/7/22. I have been with Dr. Atanase for almost two years now and miraculous events have occurred. Upon her guidance, I wore the sleep apnea retainer recommended by her and team and through this treatment cured my sleep apnea! and lost weight. I am now working with her and her office to straighten my teeth with clear correct. I feel very comfortable with everyone in the office, they have been nothing but kind, caring and professional. Diane has gone above and beyond helping me work out insurance issues. I have referred two friends already. Finding Advanced Dentistry from a recommendation on FB, has certainly changed my overall health for the better. I owe them all depth of gratitude and will continue to refer.

Dr. Atanese and her staff consistently exceed expectations. I have been coming to her office for years, as a legacy patient from Dr. Antonakas' practice. Every visit is professional and enjoyable. Appointments are always flexible, and billing is handled seamlessly. Kudos!

I felt very comfortable with Dr.Atanase as well as the Office Manager. Both were friendly, patient, and professional. The atmosphere is welcoming and Covid protocols are in place. Dr.Atanase explained every step and procedure. I'm glad Dr. Paraiso recommend this practice.

I highly recommend Advanced Dentistry! Dr. Corina Atanase and her staff are a pleasure to be around. I actually look forward to going to see them. I receive great advice and maintenance tips from the dental assistant. Dr. Atanase personally replies to voicemails and text messages and opens her practice at a moments notice, outside of office hours during emergencies... or what we patients consider emergencies. I have recommended several family members and friends and they have echoed the same remarks.

I desperately needed to see a dentist ! Dr Corina Anastasia beer stood my situation and accepted to see me in such a short notice! There are no words to describe how WONDERFUL my experience was with Dr. Anastase .Greeted with respect, dignity and a deep desire to provide the best possible care ! Fitting my broken tooth it was quite a daunting challenge to say the least. With patience, persistents and perseverance she made me very happy I could have my tooth back! When I arrived she was very warm and welcoming and I knew she is going to hoo anything she can ! My gratitude for Dr. Anastase goes beyond the stars!
