My family is extremely important to me, and I am very proud of them! My only son works for the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he is pursuing his PhD. My older brother recently completed his bachelors degree in geography. I am a dedicated uncle to my teenage niece and nephew, the children of my youngest sister and her husband. We all work hard, and when we vacation together every year, we like to play as hard as we work!
I enjoy being active in my community and volunteer frequently at local elementary school health fairs to talk about good dental health. Previously, I was a staff member at Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital at Stanford.'
Dr. Woodlief started his career with a scholarship to UCLA where he studied biological sciencesand ran track. After completing his B.S. at UC-Santa Cruz, he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University.
Starting with his base in general dentistry, he continued his education through a range of brief residencies around the world in in TMJ disorders, orthodontics, sleep disorders, neurology, and more. As a result, Dr. Woodlief has dedicated close to 4,000 hours to his continued study and practice of new techniques in the search for most advanced treatment options.
'As a sports enthusiast, I also love working with athletes. Through my expertise in TMJ function, I work with athletes to create performance mouthguards that help them improve their breathing, strength, agility, and balance. I also worked with the NFL Players’ Association and NFL Alumni for several years to provide health screenings for retired athletes.'
A bay area native to the core, Dr. Khouri was born in San Jose and lived here with her parents and younger sister until the age of 18. After high school, she left to begin her undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Cell and Developmental Biology. While there, she also became heavily involved in the pre-dental organization on campus and continued developing her long-standing passion for dentistry.
Dr. Khouri went on to get her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, graduating with high honors in the summer of 2017. She was employed by Dr. Woodlief soon after and was fortunate enough to get the chance to work in an atmosphere that not only allows for clinical growth and excellence, but also promotes a positive relationship among the doctors, patients, and staff.
Dr. Khouri understands that dentistry is a profession that serves the patient, and that it is essential to be up to date on the latest technologies and dental research in order to provide patients with the highest quality carethe care they deserve. Dr. Khouri looks forward to continuing to grow in the field in the environment Dr. Woodlief has created, as well as forming a close and trusting relationship with every patient that walks through the door.
In her free time, Dr. Khouri enjoys reading, watching movies, playing the piano, working out, and game nights with family and friends. She also enjoys watching and playing sports, in particular, soccer and tennis.

I've been suffering with Tinnitus (probably TMJ related) for the past 12 years. When I first started experiencing it I was 27 years old with no prior history of any illness. I went to so many doctors and went through many tests to understand the root cause. However none of the Dr.'s I went to neither had the depth nor the interest to find the root cause for my issue. My initial consultation with Dr. Victor Woodlief was entirely different. His questionnaire didn't limit just to Orthodontics. The amount of experience the Dr. has and the research he gathered over the years reflects on how much he wants to help his patients. Thank you so much Dr. Victor!

Dr. Woodlief is an excellent orthopedic surgeon who's extremely knowledgeable. he also has a great personality and that goes a long way with me. I look forward to starting treatment with him. Secondly, I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed from another orthopedic surgeon which wasn't healing. Dr. Woodlief had me come in, he cleaned the socket, packed it, and sent me on my way. The first surgeon should have done this and I'll never go back to their establishment again. Dr. Woodlief is the best of the best!

They're great! Very detail oriented in instructing how to floss etc. Provide sunglasses to wear to guard against overhead light and water spray.

Wonderful front office! I didnt think it could be better, but...Dental Hygienist was so very kind and helpful! and, didnt hurt my teeth! Dr Khouri is a gentle, great Dentist! I love these people!!!

I have been Dr. Woodliefs dental patient for a couple of decades and have been very pleased with his service so I was a little nervous getting a new dentist (Dr. Khouri). However, I must say Dr. Khouri was professional, very effective yet supportive and compassionate!!! Thanks to all of the staff you folks are ALL terrific!!!!!

I had a great experience at Advanced Dentistry by Design. My teeth cleaning was done professionally by Erin and it was painless, I am usually very sensitive. Dr. Khouri in my teeth exam answered all my questions and also checked my emotional state, which was wonderful to feel truly being cared for. I highly recommend this clinic for dental work, teeth cleaning and sleep apnea oral appliance.

Great place. Doctor Khouri and Erin were great and gentle. I had jaw pain so couldn't open my mouth fully. They were patient throughout the procedure and took extra care of my jaw pain while cleaning and fixing my teeth.

I've been a patient of Advanced Dentistry by Design for over 5 years, when I had just started my research about my jaw health. I immediately felt understood here, and connected with all the doctors and staff. I won't let anyone but Erin do my cleanings. She is gentle and thorough. If you have any fear or hesitation, this office will listen and be as accommodating as possible. My case is complicated and my teeth are super sensitive, but I still look forward to each appointment. I now have both my kids seen here because not only do I need to make sure their teeth are healthy, but that any necessary treatments to help guide their proper jaw development are not overlooked. Dr Woodlief and Dr Khouri are trained to look at the whole picture. I'm always impressed to hear them pursuing unique continuing education courses that help them stay up to date on the latest research. Seriously the best place in the Bay Area for your dental needs!

Teeth are an integral part of our health. He is the one dentist who I found had a holistic approach for good health. He put efforts in finding ways to avoid surgeries and extractions, and believes in preserving our natural teeth. Dr. Woodlief really cares about preserving his patient's overall health. He explained how our posture, our breathing and overall health affects the dental health, and spent a lot of time answering our questions. We really enjoyed our visit with Dr. Woodlief.
