Cari began her career in dentistry in 2006 when she completed the Dental Assisting Program at Jefferson Community College. Cari worked as a dental assistant while she went back to school to study Dental Hygiene. In 2011, she graduated from West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Cari enjoys developing a relationship with her patients and educating them so that their oral health will improve. When Cari is outside of the office, she loves spending time with her husband Derek and their families.
Kara is a 2012 graduate of West Liberty University, with a Bachelors of Science and Dental Hygiene. She loves spending time getting to know her patients personally and educating them on their oral health to help them achieve the smile they desire. Tricia graduated from Jefferson Community College in 1997. She has been working in the dental field for 24 years. Tricia takes pleasure in going to work every day because she enjoys her job and the satisfaction of helping the patients. Jessica is our front desk coordinator at Advanced Dentistry. She graduated from West Virginia University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in journalism and public relations. Since graduation, Jessica has worked in public relations and customer service throughout Virginia and Pennsylvania until settling into her position at Advanced Dentistry in 2016. Jessicas favorite part of her job is getting to meet new patients and helping to be sure that they have a pleasant experience each time they visit. Jessica loves spending time with her husband, Adam, their friends and family, and their two dogs, Riley and Mac. Her hobbies include painting, writing, reading, and cooking.
Amber is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) with our team. She has been in the dental field for the past 14 years. She graduated assisting school from Eastern Gateway Community College in 2007. She continued her education as an EFDA in 2012. She has her coronal polishing license, radiology license and is certified in CPR. The most rewarding part of her career is being able to make a difference in a persons smile. Amber lives in Ohio with her husband and three children. She enjoys nature and spending time with her family. She is so happy she joined a team of professionals that really love their patients.
Emma graduated from the dental assistant program at Eastern Gateway Community College in 2015 and later went to obtain her expanded functions license, graduating with that in 2017. When Emma is not at work caring for patients and helping to restore smiles she's spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs Gunther and Simon.
Jackie is our Registered Dental hygienist at Advanced Dentistry, she is a 2005 graduate of West Liberty University with a Bachelors of Science and Dental Hygiene. She has been working in the dental field for 16 years. Jackie loves developing a relationship with her patients and educating them to improve their oral health. Outside of the office Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband Justin, her three sons and her two Boston terriers Kimo and Norman.
Dr. TJ Ameredes was born and raised in Weirton, WV. He graduated Cum Laude from Bethany College in 2000. He went on West Virginia University Dental School and graduated in 2005 receiving his DDS degree.
Since graduation, he has worked in numerous locations from Akron, OH, where he worked with medically compromised patients performing numerous oral surgery procedures, to Charlotte, NC, where he mentored some of the top cosmetic dentists in the country.
When the opportunity presented itself to return to the Ohio Valley, Dr. TJ Ameredes was excited to work in an office in Pittsburgh, PA. He has also volunteered his time with underprivileged, children and at numerous geriatric centers.
Through the last ten years and numerous hours of continuing education in the fields of endodontics, oral surgery, implantology, and cosmetic dentistry, he has gained the experience and knowledge needed to provide individuals with comprehensive dental care.
He is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, WV Dental Association, Wheeling Dental Association, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Academy of Implantology and Seattle Study Club.
He spends his free time with his wife, Samantha, and their three children, Athena, Niko and Olivia. He enjoys playing golf, basketball, and watching movies. Dr. TJ Ameredes looks forward to giving you the best dental experience possible.
Dr. David Mascio is from Steubenville, Ohio. He received his undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree from Walsh College in 1992. From there, he went on to the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine and graduated with a D.M.D. degree in 1996.
After dental school, Dr. Mascio worked as an associate dentist in Steubenville, Ohio from 1996 to 1998. In 2000, Dr. Mascio purchased his own dental practice which he owned for 19 years. Those years he provided general dentistry to patients of all ages.
When the opportunity arose to join Dr. TJ Ameredes at Advanced Dentistry, Dr. Mascio wasted no time after having heard all of the wonderful technology and state of the art dentistry that Advanced Dentistry provides to all their patients. Dr. Dave and his wife love the Robinson area which made it an easy decision to sell his office and join the team and even move to the area.
When Dr. Dave isnt working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Cheryl and traveling to Disney World whenever they have the chance. You will find Dr. Dave on the golf course when the weather allows. Dr. Dave and Cheryl also love spending time by the pool with their dog Abby.

I recently came here for a cleaning as well as a filling and night guard impressions. Like most people, I don't enjoy going to the dentist, but Advanced Dentistry made the experience a lot better for me. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They truly take the time to answer any questions you have. Dr. Dave is the best - he is funny and nice to talk to. When he did my filling, I felt relieved as I could tell I was in good hands. He explained to me what he was doing throughout the procedure which helped me relax. You can tell he takes pride in his work. The hygienists that have helped me have been awesome as well. I highly recommend this practice. Thank you, Advanced Dentistry!

Been a patient here for many years and sadly I have to find a new dentist office to go to. Dr TJ and the other new guy are not good dentists. I've have to make multiple visits back to fix fillings that they did wrong, and have had ongoing problems with a crown they did. The dental hygienists are good here but both dentists are 2nd rate compared to DR Luther, I wish he never retired.

With severe jaw/tooth pain, went their timely for my appointment, the front desk was good to receive but bad to work, after waiting for over an hr in the chair and getting 2 xrays doctors came in and asked me to get my purse and coat and to come to the xray machine room, only to tell me that they will not be able to do anything but surely would give me steroids and antibiotics and pain killer prescriptions! also gave reference for another surgeon for tricky tooth removal, as i had informed i was having severe pain especially in the night, so far so good. But when went to get my rx from pharmacy the pharmacy stated that the birth date has been entered wrong by the office and now the pain killer is not available which is what was needed the most!!!, now I have to bear the pain one more day cause someone who was getting paid to their job did not care enough to recheck of what info they are typing about the patient, when they know the pharmacy cannot legally hand the rx. Who cares... the patient will deal with the pain, while the office will charge my insurance for their super sloppy service. Very bad experience. Never recommending or going back!

I have unfortunately had to go to alot of consultations looking for the right dentist for the extensive and life changing work that needs to be done because not one of them seemed to be personal and truly show empathy or compassion until I went to Advanced Dentistry. I've been there now 3 times. First was my consultation, then my records appt and a pre op appt. Each time I was welcomed as if I had been a patient for years. I honestly believe this office and ALL their staff that I have had the pleasure in meeting have by far exceeded my expectations and I feel truly lucky to have found my permanent dentist as well as my family's future dentist, as no one has compared to Dr. Ameredes and his staff since I started having dental issues in 2009. I feel 100% comfortable with my upcoming procedure, as all my questions and concerns were answered in the upmost professional and compassionate way. I can honestly say I'm looking forward to my procedure now instead of fear and doubts. Thank you all so very much.

Things have changed. The new dentist is getting pushy on many issues. Second options say no problems. Went on this way for a couple of years. Decided to change dentists. They seemed very accommodating and they never sent MY dental records to the new dentist. I pay for these records and they keep them like they own them. Sorry TJ, you don't hold up to what Dr's Luther and Nole set up. I hope you do better in the future.

I've been going here for 15+ years and have had a great experience before the new dentists arrived. First off, the ancillary staff here (front desk, dental hygienists, etc.) are phenomenal and the star is due to the great interactions I've had with them over the years. The new dentists on the other hand are pretty disappointing with below average bedside manners. The dentist walked into the room and immediately started catching up with the nurse hygienist about the local town gossip. Only other thing he said to me during my entire visit was that I would need an expensive procedure that won't be covered by insurance.... As a healthcare professional myself, I just ask for a dentist/doctor that takes at least 5 minutes to talk to me. It's not that difficult. Other family members have complained that the dentists are rude, condescending, and constantly shoving expensive procedures in their faces. I will not be going back and I am disappointed as I have been having my teeth cleaned by the hygienist for almost 20 years.

This office is horrible. My family member went there to look into a mouth piece for sleep apnea. They advertised this in one of the local magazines. When he was there for the exam, he was told that sleep apnea is the least of your worries. Their procedure was to pull all the teeth and put in implants for a cost of $50,000.00. After scraping myself off the floor we got a second opinion from both a dentist and periodontist. They both said only three wisdom teeth needed pulled and 1 other molar. Also a deep cleaning from the periodontist was performed. With that being said the total out of pocket was $135.00 which included a $50.00 copay from the insurance company. As for the sleep apnea, had they followed thru with what needed to be done, my family member is not even a candidate for a mouth piece. He has extreme severe sleep apnea & we are lucky we still have him. The office contacted him several times after his visit to try to get the $50,000 dental procedure scheduled. They were only interested in the money & not the health of my family member. Our next visit is with a pulmonologist. Horrible & outrageous service!!! Didn't know you wanted my family to pay for your new parking lot!!!

Dr. TJ and his staff are the absolute best. Our entire family have had our regular dental visits At Advanced Dentistry for the past 3-4 years. We have always been greeted in a friendly and personalized way by every member of the staff. The hygienists are all thorough and do a wonderful job. The assistants are kind and Are great at keeping children calm during any dental work they may need. Both Dr. TJ and his partner do a wonderful job making you feel comfortable, no matter what your visit is for (general cleaning or a dental emergency). We recommend them to any friends/neighbors/colleagues looking for a dentist.
